I had surgery here. I found the surgeon very arrogant. I was in a great deal of pain, and when my tooth was extracted I felt I was not sufficiently numb and was crying in pain. Afterwards, I heard the doctor suggesting to the nurses that he was sure that I had a traumatic experience as a child with dental work. I felt humiliated. For my second visit here (In desperation, as Dr. Nelson was the only one I was told who accepted my insurance for my child), I was on the phone trying to make an appointment and was told by the receptionist or nurse or whoever it was that she was very busy, she would call me back, and then she practically hung up on me. She took all of our insurance information but never called me back. I called back several hours later and gave her all of the information AGAIN, all the while telling them that my insurance company never sent me my son's insurance card. I had all the information to verify his insurance, and she checked it also and told me to come in with his photo ID. We drove all the way there to find another woman at the desk who was very rude and said they would not look at my child without the card. I had all of his information with me and explained that I was told to come in and would be seen. Then the Dr. came out and insulted my insurance carrier, suggested that I "get it together" and get the card first. Somehow it was fine with them to leave my child in pain while I wait and hope that the card would come in 7 days. I explained that it would take a week and reminded them that they could easily verify the info with the insurance company and that the other woman had already verified it and said that it was fine. I felt that they were the ones who should "get it together." Why was I told to drive there and that it was Ok after the first woman verified the information with the insurance company? The doctor acted as if would be very annoying for him to get clearance with my "type" of insurance plan. If you are not wealthy or do not have the "type" of insurance this place prefers to work with, don't see these people, because they are condescending and arrogant. Two experiences, both bad.... and by the way, my extraction for ONE TOOTH cost me $980!! Very bad experience. read more

I would like thank Dr. Nelson for the great work he is doing. I'm so grateful and happy I found him. I'm terrified of pain and any-oral surgeries. Quite frankly I was afraid about doing this procedure. As I have been taken for ride a few times before! So, after hearing from a few people and a very good friend I could no longer ignore it. Amazing dedication and top of the line services . Top notch! I could see the results almost immediately. In about a week. I was reluctant but took a chance. Dr. Nelson is very professional, calm and made me feel at ease. He knows what he is doing. Not a butcher like one I once went who left me traumatized .The results will be amazing. I can already see it. I would like to thank him sincerely for the treatment, especially the patience shown me, as I'm a total freak when comes to surgeries. They were super caring and calmed me down .I can finally say, I had a terrific job done. Dental implant is not an easy thing to do. I can already tell my upper chicks are looking much fuller. And my next step will be the PRP. That's right, my friend told me, they also have done a PRP for her hair . Seriously, she looks like a lion. I want to try that as well.
