They raffle off neat stuff and have fantastic halftime entertainment. Once I saw Joe Jack Talcum of the Dead Milkmen perform an acoustic set during halftime! For realz! Also, make sure you head to the afterparty when the bout is over, the skaters are dancing machines and party animals and all around awesome hanger outers. Definitely worth the trip all the way out to Lancaster.

They say its a non profit over and over but this place has gotten more and more expensive. Both of my kids have loved it however it's too expensive and very disorganized and to me is not worth it. They cannot keep teachers from what rumors have said is due to money but aside from rent costs I can't see where all the money is going because from what i see we as parents foot the bill for everything such as travel, etc. I don't suggest enrolling your kids unless you are independently wealthy and like to donate a lot of money to a "non profit".

I have had some unpleasant experiences at the stadium when trying to leave during camp days - i.e. being blocked into my parking spot by a school bus. Not fun, especially when I had to ask the bus driver to move a bit and the woman was REALLY irritated about it. Would definitely help if camp/education days had better organization in the future - at least with regards to parking of the buses/pickup of the kids. Besides that though, I've always found Ironpigs staff to be helpful, for Coca-Cola Park to be clean and enjoyable, and c'mon... how can you not enjoy a team or stadium with so much bacon-y themed goodness around?! (Though they have non-bacon items as well, of course... and the corn available from the "Aw Shucks Roasted Corn" concession is something I still crave!). Besides, there's not really a bad seat in the park. TL;DR Though I'm not a Phillies fan and have no horse in the race when it comes to the Ironpigs playing, Coca-Cola Park is still one of my favorite minor league stadiums so far. Definitely planning to go back, even if it is a 3 1/2-ish hour drive for me (one way).

No matter where your seats are, more than likely, there will be people going in and out of the row but, at least, front row seats give you a clear view and not have to look over someone. I try to get seats that limit that distraction. Also, the ushers do a poor job of holding people back at the top of the section while a batter is in the box. It's irritating to be watching the plate action and then people want to get to their seats and have to cross in front of you. I've mentioned this to ushers and management in the past. Food is decent but expensive, in my opinion. The stadium needs to make a better effort of recycling. Ushers come down the aisles, with trash bags, to collect "garbage" but I see alot of what could be recycled going into the same bags with garbage. I do put some of that blame on the fans. There are recycling bins at the top of the sections to put cans, bottles in but you know how much of an effort that is for some people.

We went to the fields the next day and they were in great shape. Apparently this is a common occurrence with Big vision. Every other venue in the area played their games the next day. Instead of waiting to see the condition of the fields and possibly pushing games back with some work, they simply cancelled and offered no refund. They also ignored emails and calls looking for an explanation. Don't waste your time and money renting hotel rooms. they are thieves. That is why they sold out to Big Show baseball. On the down side, they only host wooden bat tournaments and they actually block off parking in a public park in order to force people into their pay lot- bush league! The umpires can be pretty crusty and vary in quality. They won't give out home run balls or allow pinch runners which slows down games. There is a fine line between old school and just being stubborn and they straddle that line..

Anyway, we met at the Christman, Falls, and Cove Ridge trailhead and hiked a substantial loop to the falls, the Pohopoco river(?), and in and out of the woods. It was fantastic! Some nice elevation, soft packed trails, not too much mud, leafy forest bed, and as is common on the east coast - some roots and rocks to make sure you're paying attention. 5 miles of glorious spring sunshine and whispering trees. Couldn't ask for more! You Should Know: -parking at this trailhead is safe - room for about 8 or 9 cars and directly across from houses -this trail is NOT accessible -some parts of the trail sit high above the river - watch your step or else you'll take a devastating tumble to the great beyond -about 3/4 mile grassy walk to the actual trail from the parking area -If you use All Trails app, it was surprisingly accurate IYKYK - no bathrooms anywhere near here - pack in and pack out

Small free art gallery on site if you arrive early, Had a drink before the performance but good luck getting one in the 20 minute intermission as there must have been 50 people in line for the 2 person bar. Parking was free and easy in the attached parking garage but the entrance to the arts center isn't marked (it would be a small and very helpful feature). Parking on level 3 worked as there are steps to a small bridge to the theatre. Definitely planning on another visit.

SteelStacks in Bethlehem absolutely surprised me in the best way…read more I'm used to the massive MusikFest setup, so rolling up to a smaller, all-grass stage felt totally different but honestly? It ended up being one of the most fun concert nights I've had in forever. I saw Set It Off, Zero 9:36, and Hollywood Undead... in the pouring rain... and it somehow made everything even better. The whole lawn has a gentle hill so you can see the stage from pretty much anywhere. Plus it's all general admission, which means you can wander, get closer, hang back by the buildings, sprawl out on the grass whatever fits your vibe in the moment. The acoustics were solid, the energy was wild, and we even got to meet a few of the Zero 9:36 guys afterward, which basically cemented the night as iconic. If you like flexible viewing, good sound, and concerts that turn into core memories because of the weather, the chaos, and the crowd SteelStacks is absolutely worth it.
