Honestly they messaged me because i put in a request to get my pipe fixed thats leading to my washer and the garbage disposal. They messaged me saying they can come out and look and asked for my number to call. They called and we set up a time for them to come over. When they came over they didnt even know what they were talking about let alone "an inspection fee" that they did NOT disclose over the phone of $65. Be up front with your customers. Dont hide hidden fees. *update. Now they are calling me because i left a bad review asking me to remove it. Also we did pay the $65 and asked them to leave. Were not mad about the $65, its just we like when people are upfront, And this business is not! The only thing they disclosed was that there service to fix anything costs $125* *update after the reply. Spreading misinformation is not what is needed for this business. This business Is doing what it has to do and i understand that. The things about the price is not an issue. I own two businesses myself so money is NOT an issue, the issue was that things that are being stated in this reply we not disclosed at the time of evaluation of the repairs needed, Nothing was brought up except copper piping. Our water heater stopped working for some reason. We were told that the unit is so old that it's not worth putting money into. I called a few places, and East Plumbing had the best price, by several hundred dollars. They gave a quote, and asked for a few photos. I sent the photos, and was told that the gas valve we had was not up to code, and it would cost $175 additional to bring the gas valve to code, however was going to only charge us $100 to do it. The gentleman I was in contact with, was very professional, very nice, and informed us of every step along the way, gave us a time frame they would be here by, then called again when they were on the way. They came right at the time they said, and the price was exactly what we were quote. When finished, they cleaned up very nicely as well. Water heater went out and had some other plumbing issues. Andre was super responsive and worked with us to find a time that worked and was ASAP. Andre and his assistant were punctual, polite, clean, and they even brought the old water heater to the front for trash day. I was able to pay with a credit card (has 4% processing fee so go cash if you can! He made us well aware of this before charging and with estimate as well). He did mention that he offers financing for larger plumbing costs as well which is great. Price was exactly as what was worked out between us initially. Very poor communication and scheduled 2 appts with me and failed to show up or even call! I let the first one slide. I had a leak under my sink, Andre replaced the garbage disposal and I think he did a good job for a decent price. But after that everything fell apart. I also needed him to snake my bathtub drain. In doing so, the stopper broke. I didn't blame him for that, but he was supposed to come back and fix it. We made an appt. He was a no show, no call. I finally got ahold of him and made a new appt. He did say he was running late but it's the next day and I still haven't heard from him and I called and texted multiple times. It's ridiculous. No excuse. I'm really mad that he wasted my time, twice. And left me with a broken tub drain. I don't like to bad mouth people... But this is a little much. So, if you need something done... Job was done on 9/2/23 to fix the drain underground in our front yard (and paid in full $5300). We called after they left to ask why they hadn't cleaned up (the front yard is trashed). They said they needed to wait for a few months for the ground to settle. We waited, no call. We call and get hung up on each time. Filled out a new job on yelp, they contacted us immediately and when I spoke to Andre he said he would call another time to schedule a time to come out to fix it. Andre caulked our shower and tub, with the wrong type of caulk. The caulk they used was not a good seal and cracked and fell apart. I paid 800 dollars for the job to be done properly with adequate shower caulk and both the shower and tub need the job redone. Dissatisfied with the quality and effort put into doing the job right.
