We had a death in the family and needed a florist. A friend recommended this business and we were so happy with everything. We didn't have the details of the service until a week ahead of the date. No problem. Four of our family members used these folks and she worked with all of us, delivered on time and the results were beautiful. If you need any quality floral work, this is the place.

    Beautiful memorial spray.

I asked for a cross flower arrangement for my friend's memorial service. A beautiful soul laid to rest. Thank you for such an exquisite flower arrangement. The family wanted it displayed at the entrance of the greeting table for all to see. They also brought it to the reception afterwards. Seeing the cross flowers brings moments of comfort and love to all in attendance. Thank you for doing such a wonderful work!

I can't say enough about Gloria - she's such a friendly and yet professional person and I loved working with her. Our wedding was oriental-style and we had a tea ceremony in the morning, at a location separate from our reception area. In other words, I wasn't doing a good job communicating with Gloria about how I wanted tables arranged, how I wanted the flowers arranged, and how our space would look. Thankfully, this wasn't Gloria's first rodeo. By the time we arrived at the reception space in the late afternoon, the standard dining room had been transformed into a beautiful banquet hall, and all the flowers were gorgeously arranged for us to take entrance photos with our guests, and to frame the sweetheart table and cake beautifully. To shed some more light on what it was like working with Gloria: Gloria was so flexible with our guest count, table numbers, and items provided. We were changing table counts until the week of (Sorry, Gloria!), and asking for additional rentals such as pedestals and cake decorations. I really loved working with East West Florist and I hope you give them the opportunity!

Ordered an arrangement for our church and it came out beautifully. It was delivered on time as well. We Will definitely use them for any of our future floral needs.

We have been returning customers for years. Mostly for funeral wreaths but also for other happier occasions. Their prices are very reasonable. The flowers are always fresh and beautifully arranged. Deliveries are on time and they are my go to floral company.

Beautiful spring bouquet - the photo does not do it justice - it was HUGE!

I ordered a bouquet for a birthday celebration last minute and I was so happy with the amazing job Gloria did. The bouquet was huge!! It was full and bright with a variety of flowers just as I requested. Great service - you can text the EastWest phone number and you get a call back ASAP to discuss the order. They offer a variety of payment methods too. The shop is located in the Boyle Heights area in a plaza with small parking lot. Street parking is available as well. I'll definitely be ordering from East West florist again!

    Beautiful colors

I'm so glad we went with East West Florist for the flower arrangements for my Mom's funeral. Even though they did not have a lot of reviews on Yelp, the pictures looked very nice. After I got in touch with Gloria and started communicating with her via calls and text messages, I knew that she would take care of us. Gloria was so helpful and responsive to whatever questions I had at all times in the day. We ended up ordering 8 arrangements from her and they all turned out beautifully. 5 stars for the flowers and 10 stars for Gloria if it was possible. These are the type of small businesses that everyone should support. Thank you, Gloria!

Thank you to Gloria for making two beautiful flower arrangements for the funeral. We have used her before and she is always very kind and helpful!

Our family had funeral flowers made by Gloria and they were truly beautiful. She had great prices as well. Our entire family were very impressed. My neighbor had use East West Florist many times and she recommended them to me. I now recommend them to others. Email them at eastwestflorist@yahoo.com if you need to get a hold of them. Thank you Gloria.

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

Went here on Friday and I do not think this place is worth it whatsoever. I was highly disappointed…read moreafter wanting to go here for over a decade. First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that. When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

My husband called Gladys, and spoke to him and said that the arrangements were placed at the gravesite, but yet when she sent the pictures, it was no where near our grandbaby's site. Very disappointed that after talking with her, she was adiment that it was not her delivery workers but instead blamed it on Rose Hills. I was able to send photos of past arrangements of hers that I liked via text message and photos of the cymbidium orchids that my grandma used to grow. Little Tokyo Florist at first quoted a higher price than I was expecting, but was able to lower the price and include as many orchids as possible within my budget. It turned out that a lot of orchids fit within the budget! The design of the spray was very beautiful, as I expected from photos of her work on Yelp. Delivery was $40 and the spray was $300, not including tax. After tax the total was $373.15. The flowers lasted a long time after the service, so we definitely got some fresh flowers.

They have a good selection and the quality of the flowers for the last order was great. Photos of them don't do them justice! Only feedback is their delivery prices are a bit high and it can be tough to get the desired delivery time but that may be due to it being a small run business so it's the actual owner I believe who hand delivers some of the orders which is rare and cool. I ordered 2, one delivered to Monterey park which was $30 for delivery and the other was originally supposed to be delivered to the apartment building literally across the street (Tokyo Villa) and they were going to charge me $20 so I opted to pick it up after work and deliver them myself.
