I just wanted a bouquet for a birthday girl/woman (she was 60+ years old), so I stopped inside to take a look. There were only a few parking spots outside. The lady working there greeted me right away. She showed me the fridge area where there were ready-made bouquets, and she asked me what I was looking for. I pointed to one as an idea, and she asked me for the budget. I waited less than 10 minutes, and she had a beautiful bouquet ready for me! Absolutely horrible experience. I ordered flowers for my mother's funeral service three days in advance and made it very clear to the representative that it was for her service. The customer service rep was kind and helpful at first, but my issue is that they charged my card twice for $595 -- something I was never informed would happen. When I called to resolve it, the customer service team was completely unhelpful and dismissive. They treated the situation like it was just an "oopsie," showed no understanding of how serious this was, and told me it wasn't on their end -- advising me to call my bank and figure it out myself. There was zero accountability. Now, a day before my mother's funeral, I'm unable to purchase the food for the reception after the burial because of this mistake. I made a purchase online the day prior for Valentine's Day for my mom. WORST mistake, in total I paid over $200 for an XL bouquet of flowers, 2 balloons, chocolate covered fruits and a card. My mom only received 1 balloon, and the floral arrangement looked like it was more green leaves than flowers, definitely not worth the $100 I paid for. I tried to ask for some type of credit or reimbursement and they refused to give it back to me. I was only refunded for the missing balloon. I'm so happy I came in to buy a gift bouquet for a Christmas party. I've always driven past this store but never stopped in. There's parking on Atlantic past the store in that shopping plaza lot. The store was so nice with lots of different gifts to add to any flower arrangement. And they had fun Christmas playing which filled the store! I ordered online at 1800 flowers.com. I ordered balloons and a teddy bear and I needed them delivered the next day. I paid $65. The next day I thought I'd call just to make sure what time they were going to get delivered, she said before 8 PM and I said WHAT? that's the end of the day I want them delivered earlier than that, she said, let me see what I can do. She checked and not only were they going to not deliver them earlier but the business they sent the order to was closed. So not only were they not going to deliver them earlier than 8 pm I couldn't get a florist to deliver flowers the same day. (By the way, I thought a local florist would be delivering these. I was told UPS delivered them in a box!) I contacted 1800 Flowers on 02/01/23. After an hour and a lot of back and forth I was told I would get a refund and an email with a conformation within 24 hours. Two days later after not hearing a word from them I contacted them again. Same answer was given to me. I would receive my refund and an email would be sent within 24 hours. Still haven't received email or refund! Another bad experience with 1-800-flowers. Sympathy arrangement sent looked nothing like what I ordered. Down right ugly and embarrassing. Customer service # disconnected me the first time. Second time sent to overseas call center. The guy was poliet but not very helpful. Kept insisting on wanting to bother the grieving widow. I had to say no 3 times. My partner surprised me with a dozen roses for Valentine's Day. I read their care instructions and implemented them on the care of the roses. The roses are dying and withering. So disappointed. I'm writing this review so that hopefully no one else spends money on this dishonest establishment. :( I placed an order 7 months ago for a work-related event, but had to cancel because after collecting the full payment, the vendor called me on the scheduled delivery date that the order would be delivered 1-2 days late and several (cheaper) substitutions would also need to be made. Had I known, I certainly would've made other arrangements and would not have paid. Countless phone calls and email correspondences later, I still haven't received my refund or any form of response. The staff that spoke with me was responsive and very apologetic but unable to issue the refund without her supervisors. The lack of communication or honesty are absolutely unacceptable. read more

I ordered Mother's Day Flowers for my 90 yo mother who lives in Alhambra in an assisted living. (Savant) I paid extra for Saturday deliver for a total of $92. ,which did not occur. This morning when I called 1800 Flowers, they stated, I ordered flex delivery and that I would receive by 8 pm today. Then I got a failed delivery at 6:30 and they said they could not deliver. I called 1-800 flowers and they said it was no too late to deliver today. They said it was 9pm and it is was only 7 pm. Complete and total sham from 1-800 Flowers. I have ordered previously with them and never never never again. PS- I asked for a refund and customer service rep spent over 10 minutes trying to talk me out of it. They were going to check with the florist (which they would not give me their name, then it was, I will call your mom and attempt to deliver flowers tonight however, they then said it was too late for today, although it still is prior to 8pm, their stated delivery time). I asked to speak with a manager and was told, no manager is available. The workers at the front barely acknowledge your presence. After the customer in front of me was finished, the worker looked around and asked "who hasn't been helped" and we each raised our hands. Best Customer Service As an Elderly disabled gentleman I've had to travel to several Medical Appointments here in Southern California so it's not surprising to have two Doctors with the same name.
