The beer case is clearly visible to easily pick your brew, (no craft beers from what I could see), but everything else that has a name. Although I didn't have a mixed drink, others tell me they make a mean drink. This visit was a prearranged buffet so no menus or entrees. The serve yourself dinner has a large salad bar with your M.D.'s favorite colorful selections they always tell you about. More breads, cheese and cold cuts to complete the choices. End with about twelve types of their own fresh baked cookies.

Warm, fresh, and made to order, it's a great choice for a Friday Night Fish Fry or a Sunday casual outing with the family. Being a more casual diner myself, I've never been a huge fan of Supper Clubs, but this one is welcoming to all, in whatever you are wearing. They also host the Wildlife Restoration Association's yearly banquet, and that in itself is a win for me. Thank you for all that you do to help the community!

It's just not worth the asking price anymore. Just keep driving. There are better options in Glen Flora or Rice Lake or Hayward or Cornell. This place is in decline.

They also offer at least a couple of daily specials on erasable boards in the restaurant. In addition to the food being freshly prepared, the portion size is nice and the price is affordable. The last visit I made, my dining partner got the burger, fries and drink for $8. My hot ham sandwich and fries were about the same. Our third dining partner had a sandwich. Everyone was satisfied and the bill was less than $23. This isn't high end dining; but you won't have bad food and you won't be broke. Give it a try.
