I just went there for dinner at 5:30, and it was wonderful. I don't know if people are having bad experiences because they're going at a different time, but this was an average Tuesday night and the food was all fresh and tasty. There were many different forms of shrimp and seafood dishes hot and cold, all of it with a firm, fresh texture, not mealy like the shrimp on some buffets, and some excellent pulled pork and roasted chicken that had great 5-spice flavor. They had all the usual dishes, and it was all hot and well done. Really a totally decent Chinese buffet. I'll be back, and I do recommend it. read more

The Service was Unprofessional and Disrespectful. My grandson and walked in and was greeted by an older women. Behind her was a line of 4 or more girls coming from the kitchen area, she asked us how many and then turn and handed off our utensils to one of the girls behind her and no one wanted to take them. The one girl who finally took them was irritated and guided us to our table rudely and was not polite to us and threw our utensils on the table, rolled her eyes at us, and we just got up and left. First the good, the food seemed fresh and for us the staff and service was good. Sadly, that's pretty much it for the good. The hot and sour soup was ok. Even though the food seemed fresh and was constantly being brought out, nothing was really hot. Nothing was cold, but everything was like luke warm. There was a good selection of food, however most selections were bland or had an off taste. Everyone in our party was underwhelmed. Literally THE WORST buffet I've ever been to! The $10.95 didn't include drinks and the food was ice cold and soggy! The cream cheese won tons were somehow watery inside. The hot crab was cold. The Mountain Dew didn't taste like Mountain Dew. It was completely inedible and made me sick! Absolutely awful! I want to be contacted by the owner because I want a fucking refund! I am used to Chinese buffets from other states and this one doesn't even come close. I'm sure if you grew up in this area it's fine, but for me it didn't do the trick. Nasty, the rice was rock hard and all the food was cold and not refilled and has been sitting there for hours. We were only offered drinks refilled once with the two hours we were there. They took our plates twice. The staff has AirPods in and didn't listen to us while we were ordering drinks. The staff was yelling at each other and there was banging on the walls. We had asked for three different receipts because we had three families with us. They took five different times to get the receipts correct. The ice cream machine was broken for the two hours we were there, and nobody went to fix it, or check it out. Overall we didn't like the place. The food was bad and the service was bad. This buffet has a very large selection. It is an abundance of traditional Chinese offerings with a few non-Asian items to keep everyone happy. The salad bar and dessert bar are especially large compared to other buffet restaurants. All of the entrees are well prepared and quite tasty. They are kept quite mild, but some hot pepper oil can be added if you prefer a bit more spice. One of the offerings that I particularly enjoyed was the Butter Shrimp and Crab. There are also a number of hot, vegetarian entrees. There was one minor thing which seemed a bit odd. The traditional appetizers (egg rolls, dumplings, fried wontons, etc.) were scattered around, in various locations, rather than being grouped by the soups. No big deal, really. The service was prompt and friendly. Plates were removed quickly and the offers to refill sodas were appreciated. All in all, this was a very satisfying dining experience. Lake Buffet is one of the better Asian buffets that I have experienced. read more

If you are starving and just want to eat as much food as possible and you do not care if it is good or bad then go here. This is a below average buffet at best but they offer plenty of food. The problem is that it's not great food. There is selection and choices but there is also a lot of typical American foods for the customers that I guess went to an Asian Buffet and don't like Asian food! The food is poorly seasoned and NOT spiced correctly and just thrown in big pans so people can gorge on and waste as much as they want. The place needed a good cleaning and complete make over. Half of the booths had ripped seats or backs probably a great breading ground for mold and germs. The table we sat at was sticky and we asked to have it wiped down. Of course then it was dripping wet. I do not recommend this place. If you want a good Asian meal go to the Sushi place just down the road. Ok the Sushi place isn't a buffet but their food is so much better. Besides do you really need 10 plates of General Tao's chicken or whatever else they have? read more

One of the better Chinese buffets that I've been to. A little pricey as far as buffets go, but well worth it in terms of freshness and quality. I was particularly impressed with the salmon, the teriyaki chicken and the green beans. read more

Overall the food is not too bad. For some reason however, my husband and i seem to be singled out after passing through occasionally for a bite to eat we were asked for tips each time which led to bad service after we declined to offer tips. Now as of Last nite, we decided to give them another try, and This was the worst Yet, Finally we got up and left and asked For Mgr. and we told Him of our Awful Experiences we have been having I Asked Him to pursue this issue, seeing My Wife Is Colored and I'am Arabian Descent.
