Haven't been in a while. Valentine day, wanted a sit down meal. Asked for my usual, hot tea. They didn't have any. Instead wife got a bottle of water, I got a soda can with a straw? I had to ask for glasses and ice? Got sushi, was drab at best, miso soup not great. Even the dumplings were dough thick. We were the only people eating in the restaurant. I can see why. If you like 50% onions in your signature dish, this is the place for you. Most places use carots and broccoli too, but apparently they were out. It's worth the ride to Allentown or Quakertown for better Chinese Food. The only reason I went here is for convenience. The prices are high for what you get. read more

Where to begin...This place used to be ok, never great, but now it is awful. I ordered Singapore Mei fun and a small order of boneless ribs to the tune of 24.00. I get that food is more expensive, but my gosh, take some pride in your work. The Mei fun was completely insipid. 2 small shrimp, bland noodles and a few vegetables. The ribs were inedible, like shoe leather.. eat there at your own risk!!! read more

Myself and a Co-worker took a few bites of the General Tsos Chicken and just threw it out. Do your kids have a science project coming up? Have them cut open the "chicken" and find out what type of meat they used. If you don't have children take the meat to your local college instead and have them do a DNA sample. This place used to be my go-to Chinese spot but not anymore:( Just ordered a decent amount of food and the prices went up, serving sizes are smaller and the food got sucky! My general tso chicken looked like tyson bites. All pieces were the same size which they never were before (they didnt taste great either). Also, I ordered $110+ worth of food and they only gave me one little container of white rice! This place definitely got cheap:( read more

Eastern Gourmet is not what it used to be! We had a very disappointing take out meal this evening. I ordered Sesame chicken and each piece of the chicken was the exact same shape which I thought was odd. I tried to bite into one and it was full of sinew, not even chewable, And imagine my sadness when every piece was the same. I cut a few pieces open and it didn't even look like chicken. The entire dinner went into the trash, followed shortly thereafter by my husband's Kung Pao Chicken, which he said had the same sort of chicken pieces. I have to give this restaurant low stars and here are the reasons. We dine in when we have gone here. 1) They let their children run around in the restaurant, 2) they have a sloppy delivery guy who speaks too loudly about everything and plays with the kids out front--do that in the back we don't need to see it., 3) they don't provide crispy noodles and duck sauce on the tables, 4) food is never hot when it is brought out to you and 5) even if you order wonton soup (if they remember to bring it to you that is..) they don't give you crispy noodles unless you ask. Overall food is good but it would be that much better if many things could be improved upon. This isn't a daycare center. read more

Great food. Probably one of the best in the area. I've ordered here about a handful of times and haven't been disappointed. The only thing that I am disappointed in is their delivery service. First time I ordered they forgot my sushi, which wasn't a problem because the lady was nice enough to come back and admit that she forgot to give it to me. I just ordered food tonight for delivery, got a few Chinese dishes and ordered my sweet potato roll & california roll. The delivery guy came to my door, only handed me one bag. When I went inside to unpack it, everything was there except the sushi...AGAIN! So I called the delivery guy (who was this big white guy), and I told him that I was missing my sushi. He told me that he gave me 2 bags. But I insisted that I didn't get a second one. He was insistent and then handed over the phone to whom I presume is the manager. Before she answered the phone, I heard the delivery guy say: "It's this bitch that I just dropped off to. I swear I gave her 2 bags." She then asked me the same question, seeing if maybe misplaced the bag...(I just felt very targeted coming off as a liar) In the end, she was very compliant in sending my order again for the missing sushi; but I just thought that was very very rude and unprofessional. I come from working in a restaurant with a heavy customer service background. I do not under tip, and I do not take things that are not mine or take things for granted. I most likely won't do delivery again, but there should be more class. read more

Reasonable prices and good foods, definitely much better than most Chinese takeout restaurants. The owner Jenny is friendly and very nice, and the front desk young lady Vivian in charge of taking orders is polite and efficient. Great food and friendly service. Menu is pretty extensive, but does lack combination plates that other Chinese restaurants may have. Sushi and Thai dishes are also very good. Considering that this is a small town, nice to have a decent Asian dining option. read more

Very hit or miss, lately too many misses. Tonight part of my order were 2 shrimp rolls. I didn't get shrimp rolls , instead I got 4 half sized some kinda rolls with no shrimp. Just be honest and say you're out. read more

The other foods seem ok- nothing extraordinary or memorable. This is an "ok" place and nothing more. The positive: I ordered online and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. The negative: my actual meal. Don't even bother with the sushi. The laughably small servings had me doubtful, but hey, maybe it's so good that it doesn't matter? Nope. I have actually eaten better sushi from a grocery store. The rice was hard, the seaweed chewy, and the cream cheese in the Philadelphia roll had that strong tang of "discount store brand cheese (that is possibly low-fat)." And just to put a cherry on top, they don't include chop sticks with takeout, and I didn't know I had to ask. Guess who doesn't own chop sticks and had to eat her bad sushi with a fork? I guess the reason my order was ready so fast was that there were no customers in the restaurant when I walked in. Maybe I'm the last to know this place isn't worth my time. read more

Very good chinese food for eat-in or take-out! Nice seating area for eat-in. Small sushi bar for freshly prepared sushi. I've eaten here many times and have never had a bad or poorly prepared dish! Very pleasantly surprised. The expected decor for a strip mall Chinese restaurant. They do a very brisk takeout business which can be a bit distracting if you're dining in. BYOB, Ma La Lamb was delicious and very fresh tasting. Spicy dumplings were awesome. Sushi was just ok. This restaurant was our first Chinese one when we moved here in 2001. At that time they had a fabulous General Tso's Chicken. Then a cousin of the owner took over the place and that person changed the recipes slightly, but everything was still good. Now there is a new third owner who has a new chef who does not know how to cook. Their food is slightly better than take out places, so we will say good bye. Gotta look for another place and there are not too many choices here. read more

It has been a year since I have ate here. The last time, the food tasted like cleaning chemicals and had to throw the entire order away. Today decided to try once again, this time for lunch. I work in Quakertown and saw that they did online orders. I thought, this is great! I'll make a quick trip and try them again. Placed my online order for me and a co-worker. Got there to find out, they don't have the sauce for one order. So I had to order something different and wait twice as long for it. You would think they would call and let me know before I arrived. So much for thinking this would be a quick & easy lunch. By the time I get back to work my lunch will be over without even having a chance to eat. I seriously doubt I will be back.
