I have been ordering different dishes one day a weekfor the last 6 weeks. I research the ingredients used to prepare dish before trying it. My only disappointment was yesterday. I ordered the vegetable mei fun and instead of using rice noodles, my dish contained angel hair pasta. It was still tasty, however, I was looking forward to the rice noodles as I had the first time I ordered it. I hope this was just a substitute for an ingredient that was not stocked and not a regular thing. Not taking any chances, I will not order it again or, if I do, I will request no substitutions. read more

This is such a great take out spot for Chinese. You can eat inside but it's very tiny inside. Service was quick and staff was friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite are the dumplings in chili oil! read more

This was a go to place up until the end of 2024; some very unique dishes under the banner of Chinese street food. Then the place closed down for 1-2 months. Today I returned for the first time. The new owners are very pleasant and I ordered Chicken Kung Pao, Spicy Cabbage and Yang Chow Fried Rice (take out). It was ok, but it was not on the level of the previous owners. Because of that I'll have to take one star off from my previous review. I really feel bad about the downgrade, but if they get some pointers from the old owners (who may still be around), the Glory may return. read more

Lo mein was tasty and hot General Taos was only ok. Chicken was dry and the sauce was not typicall sweet and spicy. Tasted more like a curry base. Not the best. Tiramisu was not to my liking. My preference would be only lo mein next time. read more

Wow, what a find. Stopped in town to break up a long drive and ordered from Tasty Dish. It was amazing! Had the Lu Rou Rice Bowl, that was fantastic. My daughter had the Soy Sauce Fried Noodles that she loved. We also split the Stir - fried Green Beans w.Chicken. 10/10 make sure you get some Home Made Hot Oil, it's to die for. I haven't had authentic Sichuan cold appetizers anywhere in the US, ever. So this was really surprising. Stop in and give the cold chicken (in particular) a try; they will tone down the spice on request, but it's not too hot to begin with. The owner is really nice, too. read more

Stopped by here when we were road tripping and was surprised by how good the food was. This is really a gem in a small town. It's a small place with probably 4 or 5 tables. We had the lunch specials and seriously everything was delicious. I had the fried chicken cutlet with cold sliced beef tendon and the cucumber salad. The fried chicken cutlet tasted very similar to the fried chicken chop I had in Taiwan. It was fried crispy with loads of flavor and with tender white meat inside. The beef tendon was also very yummy and flavored nicely. The cucumber salad was marinated nicely and refreshing for the hot summer day. My hubby also had the fried chicken cutlet but with salmon teriyaki and it was delicious. I cjan say one of the best salmon teriyaki I've had with so much flavor. Oh and each lunch special also came with half a marinated tea egg. The food here really is better than lots of places in NYC, and flushing that I've been to. Only thing we didn't like much was the Thai ice tea that was overly sweet. A step up from Chinese take out but not much more. We wanted to try this restaurant due to the good reviews on Yelp, so off we traveled 20 minutes later to only bypass it once to find the Dunkin Donuts first for coffee. This restaurant is a tiny but tastefully clean place right on Main St. There is additional parking in the back where we parked. The menu involves choosing two entrees with a side of dumplings. I had the chicken cutlet with salmon and my better half had the hongshao chicken with salmon. My cutlets were dry and tasteless, it could have been better with a light sauce, and the salmon was dry and too salty. The hongshao chicken was extremely salty to my taste. The skin of the dumplings was very thick with the pork filling not all that tasty. The rice seemed dry and perhaps old. Everything was lukewarm and did not seem freshly cooked. We will not return. I've been here a few times already and I so glad something like this has opened in Hellertown. This is NOT your typical Chinese take out. The food is delicious, it's simply made, it doesn't taste greasy and too salty. Their food doesn't have the smell of a chinese takeout and I'm so thrilled to come back each time. It's as close as it can get if you've grown up eating authentic taiwanese food! The Wonton Noodles soup is my favorite. The broth is just right. The wontons are yummy not gross like a lot of chinese takeouts serve. The minced pork with rice and soysauce egg reminds me so much of what my grandma's typical dinner would be like. The dumplings are very good, I always order one to go! The MOST favorite thing I love about this place, and I am so thrilled about is that they serve BUBBLE TEA!!!!!!! It was really really really great! You get a good portion of food for the price I always am either full or have leftovers and everything that I've tried from there has been really really good. The food is extremely consistent. Every time I go there I know if I get the same thing twice it's going to look and taste the same. I've ordered food from here more times than I can count and each time the food has been amazing. I've never had a bad meal from this restaurant. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is very friendly. This restaurant is from the bottom of my heart the only restaurant in hellertown worth going to.
