My experience with this organization's interview process was disappointing. I was initially scheduled to interview for a leadership position, but the day before, I was contacted about a lower-level role "to match my background better." It later became clear that the company was already in the final stages with other candidates. Transparent communication and respect for candidates' time would have been far more professional. In particular, they have professors that have excellent experience and at the same time, general education classes are also taught online (helps out if you work!) Studying Nursing at Eastern International College requires a lot of hard work, since it is a condensed program which you are supposed to finish in five semesters, but you get to learn from very knowledgeable professors, highly impactful and they offer a lot of practical skills. My favorite class is Pharmacology, I have already learned so much about meds. Also, the building is quite modern, with new equipment and nice large library. I am a current nursing student at EIC and I love the teacher's here in particular, Professor Lamiaa Nokhal who teaches Anatomy &Physiology, she is very knowledgeable and will take the time to answer and question you may have on a subject. Our Fundamentals Professor, Rino Alcantara, is also someone that makes sure you have the clinical skills you need to do well in clinicals. Stay away from this school specially the nursing program. They do not have a waiting list for a reason. I was appalled when I heard they rehired Sam who was already fired THREE times from the same institution, they got rid of him for a reason. Sam teaches real life scenarios which would be great but students need NCLEX style scenarios. EIC makes you buy resources that students don't even use. They do not follow protocols. They make students sign a syllabus that they do not follow. Sam also gets hypo- and hyper- mixed up a lot so he will confuse you. This school is a joke stay away if you can. They're all about making money. They will fail you. They will give you reviews to "help" for the exam but it's actually just to trick you. read more

So I recently visited this location because I have a friend who is in school to become a dentist. I went to get my teeth cleaned. The process took a little bit of time but it was well worth it. I was able to get X-rays and a much needed cleaning for a really good price. The students and the dentists that's helped were amazing I really enjoyed my morning in New Jersey getting my mouth down up. I have went their twice for cleaning and one for tooth whitening. Way better job than the dental hygienist does at my dentist in Brooklyn. The teachers are very professional and make sure the students do the best job possible, I would rather go here than my dentist for cleaning & whitening because the students are doing it fir the grades & teachers ensure they do the best job possible. read more

Well as soon as you get your transcript is would be under micro tech ! Which is not accredited . For example you start here and you want transfer your credit to hccc , hccc won't accept them also essex county won't accept them as well . BEWARE / BEWARN Prospective students or anyone thinking about going to EASTERN INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE DO NOT! Please run as far as your two legs can carry you and look into other great schools out there where they will not just take your money and treat you like SHIT. Eastern International College is a very HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS AND FRAUDULENT SCHOOL TO ATTEND. When I got accepted into EIC I WAS VERY EXCITED AND GRATEFUL TO GOD BUT NOT KNOWING THAT I WAS WALKING INTO HELL FIRE. I started EIC September 2020 and was told I was going to graduate April 2022 but it never happened because almost every semester they will give me like one class, later I was told my expected graduation date was going to be May 2023. I WAS hospitalized couple of times, my doctor had to put me on antidepressants because at some point I wasn't myself and couldn't sleep, eat, shower or even talk to my kids, I was like the walking dead. I was prescribed Iron, Vitamin C and D because they were very low. I had to quit my job because the new Dean of Nursing that came in told the faculties to stop sitting with students to make their class schedules and to give them whatever class schedules and it's up to the students to make it work regardless what they have to do or they can drop out of the program. After beWhen I asked the school for a reevaluation of my grades because they changed the grades from Pass/Fail to Numerically one week before the final exam because they Dean of Nursing claimed a lot of students were about to graduating, only to be told I was dismissed from the program by the Dean of Nursing, and if I wanted to continue my studies I had to file an appeal but my issue was never addressed. To tell you how they are failing people intentionally one week after the Dean told me to file an appeal instead of addressing my concerns, I received an email telling me that my appeal has been approved but the surprising fact is that I NEVER FILED ANY APPEAL. They told me in the email that I can come back to take a whole new semester for the class all because of 1 point, the most malicious part is because of them changing the grades I wasn't able to graduate after I was given everything that I needed for the graduation, even paid the graduation fee, took yearbook photo and wrote inspirational quote for them to post in the yearbook but I was robbed of the privilege of graduating after all of my sacrifices I've made and been through, and even right now on the verge of losing my home. Because of financial gain they will fail you by 1 point or even half a point so you can pay again for a new semester to retake the class. They have no respect for the students, especially the Dean of Nursing, she talks to and treat students in a condescending and vague manner. The Owner DO NOT even speak to the students, students have no ways to communicate or contact him because he deleted his school email account which students could've use to be able to reach him. They just increase the tuition by 5% for the nursing students. They have no supplies in the lab for students to use for practice or the few that are there are outdated. They treat the nursing students like modern day slaves. They don't care or wants to know anything about you ONLY YOUR MONEY. ONLY go to Eastern International College if you're SUICIDAL. They will sell you a bunch of sweet bull craps just to get you through their doors and after you will start seeing ALL THEIR DEVIOUS, MALICIOUS and MANIPULATIVE WAYS. Professor Do Not lasts in the school because of the way they treat their students, every semester you will have a new Professors. THE DEAN OF NURSING IS SO NASTY EVEN TO THE PROFESSORS when they don't want to fail their students. Just know they will MANIPULATE Your grades just to fail you. EASTERN INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE IS NOT A PLACE TO GO TO SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY AND WILL DO THINGS JUST TO FAIL YOU. Their passing grades are 80% where as other schools are 75%. If you decide to go to EIC please make sure you have an SUPERB PSYCHIATRIST AND A LOT OF ANTIDEPRESSANTS because you are definitely going to need it and also you will not be able to have time for your family, work, and friends. They tell you that you have no life. JUST TO FAIL YOU THEY WILL EVEN CHANGE GRADING SYSTEMS LIKE FROM PASS / FAIL TO NUMERICALLY TO DROP YOUR GRADES SO YOU WILL END UP GETTING BELOW THE 80% that YOU need to pass. Eastern International College offers free dental cleanings from their students and I was impressed. The facility is brand new and the instruments are newer than ones in an actual dentist office. The cleaning lasts longer than your average appt and you get everything from an oral cancer screening, tooth measurements and fluoride treatments. They're more thorough than your usual dentist because they are working for a grade. Definitely recommended. read more

Why can't we give 0 stars?? Have you ever heard the saying if it's too good to be true it probably is?? Oh how this school loves you when your signing up. Most schools have a wait list but not EIC. Pass the entrance exam and you get right in! Wow no wait to get in??!!! Amazing!! But your troubles will begin day ONE. Let's start with the easy stuff: professors and other faculty including deans last one two semesters and then gone. Huge turnaround. Bottom of the barrel professors - check ratings on ratemyprofessor.com. Uncaring staff and deans. Do not approach them with problems as they will do nothing about it and blame you. Literally nothing will be done to help you. They claim to provide tutoring but good luck with that! Lab fees every semester but I have yet to do any work in a lab. Mannequins are broken with limbs literally being held together by string. Pregnant mannequin is supposed to give birth but hasn't worked in over a year. Lab fees of $1000 a semester and you can't buy a working mannequin??? Say you have 100 nursing students that's $100,000 just on one semester. But no that would take away from the profit of the owner and big dogs! They promise you uniforms but I only got one set in my time there and had to personally purchase my own clinical uniform or I would not be able to continue- but was still charged for it. They are more concerned with NCLEX pass rates then educating there students! Your education?? A professor who literally just reads from pre made slides. No elaboration. Nothing. Be prepared to self teach and watch YouTube videos! Professors have confirmed that they are told by administration to fail students each semester so they have to repeat. And of course the professor who talks about students personal lives with other students. And of course nothing done about it. If you want to get into a school right away then sure. But be aware you will most likely fail and I promise you they will do anything in their power to fail you so you have to repeat. Do yourself a favor and wait to get into another school. This school is absolutely traumatizing. I don't know where to begin. From the minute I walked into this school there was a number of problems.. that were addressed but never fixed. All began with me forgetting my I.D at home and I was forced to wait outside in 20 degree weather until 9 am so I could buy a new one... (extremely money hungry). Even though I had a # of ways to prove that I go to this school. Better ways than a plastic ID. Instead of letting me wait in the lobby I was forced to be in the freezing cold, completely embarrassed. When I complained I got laughed in my face and was told "now you'll remember to not forget". My professor was fired literally right after we took our finals with her. Instead of allowing our professor that we had all semester to grade our work. They had a random grading. Lied saying that I missed quizzes. Never have I ever missed a quiz. Worst part is they didn't even tell us she was let go. They had us hunting around for information as usual. Blocked her email. Professors will fail the whole class and somehow blame the students. If there's one thing this school knows how to do it is to belittle students. They have a Dental Hygiene Department where the Dental Hygiene students offer FREE Dental Exam, Xrays & Cleaning. They are supervised by Dental Hygienist and Dentists and provide you with exceptional care. This is a very detailed Exam & Cleaning nothing compared to what is done in your regular dental office. read more

Went for a tour at this College since i was interested in attending. First impression of the school is not great. Very dirty looks like no one ever cleans the stairs which are disgustingly dirty the windows glasses etc all smudged its horrible. They are very out dated with their sonogram machines they are still using those dinosaur machines when all the hospitals have modern up to date machines and they only have 2 machines in each room which is horrible. Eastwick College, JFK Medical School and UCC have atleast 12 in a room for students to learn correctly and properly with new modern machines. They also have no student parking which is a downfall if you plan on driving here and parking can be pricey at the end of the week. They are also pretty pricey. Only good thing is there is no waiting list for Nursing Dental Hygiene or Sonogram. If you want to come here for Sonogram dont waste your time they are not equipped properly for it.
