Where do I begin... I had first started on this journey over 7 years ago. The military didn't really help me transition from Combat Medic to anything comparable in real world terms. I decided to leave my passion and pursue other means of employment. By 2016, I was lost and beyond broke. I knew that life was showing me that I was on the wrong path. I called New Age Training. Mr. Kerri Ellerbe was amazing at helping me get the process started. He explained the enrollment process, the financial aide process and any other questions I had proposed to him. He was there for me when I needed someone to listen to me vent and when I needed some additional motivation. Ms. Margaret Guyah will forever be held dear to my heart. She believed in my potential and ultimately was an advocate towards my becoming an NAT Student Ambassador. Through this leadership program, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Sheppard, Ms. Lewis, Mr. Andre and Ms. Bonner. Mr. Sheppard helped me stay focused and was there to guide me throughout the whole process. He offered me opportunities that I would have never gotten anywhere else. He doesn't know how much he helped me stay humble and above all else, help me help my family. Ms. Lewis and Mr. Andre helped me fine tune my skill sets and were instrumental in helping me enhance my interviewing skills. Ms. Bonner opened the doors to my current employer and like she told me when I was hired, " I just led you to the door. You were the one that opened it and walked in." Mr. Callman served as an amazing teacher, mentor, administrator and supervisor. Ms. Mina helped me type 40 wpm without looking at the keyboard! Natalie from Admissions and Natalie from Education would always remind me why I started this and why I can't give up. They all made sure I was not just interview ready but LIFE READ. Not many training facilities offer the job placement assistance and the staff to boot that NAT has on hand. From Ms. Neli and Mr. Bong to Mr. Thomas, Dr. Ninel and the fabulous receptionists that always knew when I needed a little bit of encouragement : Thank you all for your priceless moral support, dedication and faith. It is true that I put in the work but I did not do this alone. I am proud to say that I an where I am today because of NAT. I am forever grateful to you all. After researching about New Age Training Medical Assistant Program, I was determined to go back to school but wasn't sure about the process. Two weeks later on social media a New Age Training graduate posted about her journey. Her and I spoke for days and I finally decided to come check the school out. I walked in a week before the class I planned on taken started. Wendy was very helpful when enrolling me. I did have a problem with FASFA because the IRS. However, the finical aids staff was supportive. I started on October 23,2018, and it was the best decision I made. Dr.Ninel was my teacher for all of admin and clinical classes. Over the time Dr.Ninel and I grew a strong bond. She cares for all her students and never gave up on us even on our rough days. It would be certain material that was hard and made me not want to continue with the class. Dr.Ninel would sit with and break it down until I understood it with flying colors. Even if that mean't she had to draw diagrams on a index or sticky note for me. Moving on to computer classes and Career Development Service I had Mr. Thomas as my instructors. Mr. Thomas was very dedicated to making sure the class understood the material and the importance of the medical field. He always reminded the class to aim high and never settle for less. Even after graduating Mr. Thomas still wants the best for his students. I needed help with my resume and cover letter and Mr.Thomas helped me with hesitations. After my class hours was done and I needed time to study Ms.E and Guyah was nice and would help me with certain things. My whole life completely changed and improved after attending and graduating from this well run school. As soon as I graduated Ms. Levis tremendously helped me with my resume, prepared me and sent me out for couple of interviews. Not even a month passed and I got an well paid job in a city as an medical assistant. Thank you Ms. Levis! I am currently employed and I am continuing my education in medical field in another school. Also they accepted many of the credits from New Age Training. I graduated from clinical medical assistant program as an A student, which I worked very hard for and never missed classes. But it really paid off. This program was incredibly well organized, practical classes with professional instructors were helpful. I had 3 hardest classes Anatomy, Phlebotomy and EKG with an incredible teacher and my role model Dr. Ninel. Her dedication to teach us both theory and practical skills to the perfection really helped me at my job and in my new school. Many times I've been asked which school I attended, because of my great clinical skills and my anatomy knowledge. I had two other subjects with Mr. Thomas, very open, friendly but also strict instructor. I still know all medical terminology by heart! Mr. Callman was very helpful for my preparation for national exam. Mr. Sheppard also plays a huge role if you have any concerns,questions or for job placement. I joined New Age Training in May of 2017 to become a Medical Assistant. I spoke to a representative in admissions by the name of Kerry. While speaking to him I explained I went to a previous school to enroll and didn't feel welcome instead I felt pressured to join. After having a conversation with him I made an appointment to come in and view the school. During my tour I felt welcomed and decided on completing the Medical Assistant program at this location. There is an instructor here by the named of Dr. Ninel words can't describe how wonder she is as an instructor as well as a person. We were like her children, she cared about all her students and taught every subject well and was thorough. She pushes you to your full potential and make sure you understand everything she is teaching. She is strict but loving and I've learned she's only strict because she cares and want the best for everyone! I've never met a instructor like her and because of her and her skills I learned all I needed to know to become the best medical assistant I can be. I would recommend everyone to this school. The very first day the director came out to greet us on orientation day and emphasized that the school did not guarantee a job, that it was up to us to secure a job, that New Age Training would provide with the knowledge and tools to succeed but the one thing that they could not reteach was ones attitude and character. These attributes are the core to any business therefore that means you are the business. Always think of yourself as a business, presentable, trustworthy, respectful, promising. New Age Training provided me with the most up to date and accurate training in the Medical Assistant field. Phlebotomy class is by far still my favorite, the teachers were devoted and approachable if you ever need extra assistance. Dr. Ninel was my instructor, she demonstrated courtesy to all her students. She made sure you learned, she was like a drill sergeant, she never grew tired of repeating herself as long as you learned. The MA program was afforable and if you paid in full they would give you a discount. Financial Aid is also offered if needed. I didn't qualify for financial Aid so I took the discount. My course lasted 9 months including externship and now Ms. Lewis my career counselor, is assisting me in placement for a position. And I couldn't be more excited! read more

Attending New Age Training was such a great experience for me, from the classes, the instructors, the students and the entire staff,. All of the classes were very helpful and I gained a lot of new knowledge. My favorite classes were Anatomy and Phlebotomy. All of my instructors and even classmates were very helpful . Many instructors offered after class tutoring. Also, my classmates and I would have group study sessions to help each other review for tests and quizzes. With all the great instructors, classmates, tutoring and extra help I did very well in all of my classes. Upon completing all of my classes and graduating, I still received help from many advisors. In an effort to expand my knowledge in the medical field, I made the decision to attend New Age Training and I'm extremely happy I did. The time and money spent at this school was well invested. The physical environment is excellent with neat and spacious classrooms. The level of respect between students and faculty was amazing. I had a great experience at the New Age Training School. One of my favorite teachers was Dr. Ninel. She is an incredible, AMAZING teacher and women. Her class was VERY informative. I have learned so much with her within short period of time. Her work ethic made it easier for me to do great in the EKG class, She was always there for ALL her students and making sure we all understood before she would go forward with any new material. My choice in attending New Age Training was the best decision I have ever made, the teachers are great and very informative they go beyond measures to make sure you are being taught to the best of their abilities. When I took the decision to attend New Age Training, I encountered a lot of obstacles, however, with help of a some great people I met along the way I made it into the MA program. Amazing teachers and helpful staff make new age training so special. I did the 5 week CNA program in 2014. I started in May and passed my boards and was certified by July. I started working in a hospital making $$$. it was honestly the best decision of my life, while in nursing school I ran into some issues and transferred programs. While in between programs I continued to work as a CNA and was able to still learn and figure things out with school. I am grateful for my decision to do my CNA certification and new age training helping me along the way. So 1st let me say choosing the school was a hassle I was a workforce1 voucher recipient and I was overwelmed on choosing the school however I spoke to Kerry and he made it easier it was a walk in the park from there ,The staff is lovely Mrs Z my teacher made it simple for anyone to pass the exam. My first class at New Age Training I had Miss Guyah she's a very helpful and caring instructor. You could ask her anything she won't resist to answer, she always motivate student to work hard even when we seemed depressed she always told us we got this. I graduated and received my certification of completion for PCS. I would say that Mr Z and Mr Thomas were the best instructors at New Age Training. In my opinion this is a well run school. Teachers communicate with students tremendously which leaves students with ideas of what is going on in the day to day running of the school. There are amazing teachers who push and encourage you to perform to your best capabilities.
