Plaza College should be ashamed of the work environment they've created for their employees,…read moreespecially and specifically in the Admissions Department. It's important to note that this is a family-run operation, and the Dean of Admissions is the daughter of the president of the college. Her lack of professionalism and basic leadership skills is astonishing. I would refer to the heads of the Admissions Department as callous, selfish, and pretentious girls. When you meet them, they appear to be respectable and educated women, but after maybe a month or two of working with them, you'll realize they're nothing more than immature girls who seemingly refuse to run an office efficiently. One of the first examples of this that you'll notice is in the workload expectation itself: these girls will demand that you "balance" and "time manage" your way through countless virtual or in-person meetings, incoming calls, current students needing help with financial aid (which goes way beyond what should be in your scope -- especially considering you're not on the financial aid team), document collection, and then still make 100+ daily calls to prospective students -- all of which is monitored and tracked. At this point, you'll probably realize one of two things: A) you're not getting paid enough for the insane amount of work and infeasible expectations (which they'll never admit are infeasible), or B) you quit -- which is honestly very common. If you go with option A, you might try speaking to management to ask for fair compensation or even just help with your workload -- both of which will be a waste of time. They only give support or raises to people they personally decide are "deserving," which basically means unless you're part of the management team, you can forget it. The four girls that make up the "management team" are the only ones who get even half an ounce of respect from the Dean who runs admissions -- but even they aren't safe. You may catch a glimpse of her treating her own directors like they're brain-dead, and they just nod along and take it. Something else you'll notice quickly: the directors don't do much besides micromanage and look out for themselves. Some hide it better than others, but they mostly act as a bridge between you and the Dean -- which can feel like a blessing, because once that buffer breaks, you'll find yourself sitting in 2-3 meetings a week to "review your activity." Sometimes these meetings are fine -- they'll warm you up with small talk or tell you you're hitting your "mini-goals." But then, out of nowhere, you'll have your first bad meeting, and that's when things change. They'll speak to you in such a condescending and disgusting tone that it drives some people to quit that same day -- or at the very least, start planning their exit. And here's the worst part: you'll love your team aside from them. The rest of the Admissions reps genuinely try to help each other. That's the only reason people stay -- because you're bonded by the trauma of this workplace. The teamwork and support from your peers are what keep things afloat -- not leadership. Without that, this department would collapse. There's also this fake sense of "growth" they try to dangle in front of you -- offering made-up job titles as an incentive to stick around. But those titles are meaningless. They give you no real influence over the department, or even the specific program you work on. It's just a form of bribery, usually handed out right after someone quits to make it look like there's upward mobility. But there's not. The title means nothing -- it's just a tactic. You'll also notice that when things reach a breaking point, they suddenly go into fake "damage control mode." That's when you'll see random praise, fake check-ins, and surface-level appreciation gestures -- all just to keep the department from falling apart. It's obvious and exhausting. The sad part is, once they see this review (yes, they obsessively check reviews as well), they will all deny accountability because it doesn't fit their narrative of what kind of team they think they've built. Instead of reflecting on why so many people leave, why morale is so low, or why their department has become a revolving door, they'll spend hours trying to figure out who wrote the review and deny everything among themselves. Reflection and change won't come -- just more finger-pointing and more turnover. Never in my life have I seen or heard of it being normal for people to quit on the spot -- often after just a few weeks, and in some cases, even just a few days. That's how bad it is. Do not waste your time, value, or integrity here. You deserve better -- and trust me, so do the people who are still stuck in that department.

As you may have read below, this school is a SCAM!!!…read more They want you to take out a series of loans and then when you start with them, they give you a bill and tell you "we don't take loans for prerequisites, you need to pay out-of-pocket!" This is the first school as well, that needs/wants to speak to a parent of a 21 yr old about financial aid and loans?!?! Why?!?! That makes absolutely ZERO SENSE!!! It's YOUR JOB as a school that claims to be the "best" and "accredited", etc., to want to help out students who want to attend your school for a better life and instead you're making it difficult, wanting them to go into debt when they graduate by paying back every single loan you want them to get. Be honest with the prospective/current student and let them know that you won't be accepting their "current SallieMae loan and that you want them to take out a series of loans so they can pay for their schooling!" Future students, beware!!! Like other reviews have stated, do your research and get to know other schools or go to a university and get your degree the old-fashioned way, than being scammed/lied to in order for you to get into this school and then get told something totally different! I wished my daughter and I would've done our research and looked at the reviews before dealing with the nonsense we are now.

I am leaving a review at two starts only because I completed a portion of the program. First I will…read moresay to get INTO the school (exit exam) is very easy. No wonder they enroll so many students.. BUT I continued with my RN after completing their LPN program. I will say their LPN was harder than the RN program but for the most part, if you go to this school you must find out everything because they will not tell you what they need to. When I say that I mean as in know how many times you can repeat a course, know if you can takes courses while on break ( if you have/choose too) etr. I dont think the school is bad perse but they run the shit terrible the teachers are all lazy except Professor Cofini she actually teaches but the rest read off PPT (verbatim) and they make it hard for you to even want to come in. It makes no sense to waste time and be in class reading a ppt when you can do the shit at home and save that commute time and study.I won't sit here and downplay it because they kicked me out and tell ppl not to go just because I didn't complete it because a lot of people will say things just because their angry. I honestly think that that will discourage people who may have a chance. There are so many other schools that are available to enroll in & to be so angry and stuck on talking about one single school is crazy. This school will make money regardless. I think that everyone who continues with their RN here just say they might as well especially because you get use to how they run the college (like shit) and you get use to it .With them you really have to teach yourself. There is no guidance. I went through rigorous paper work for them to get my money and to get all these loans but once I failed a class by 1 point all I got was a "sign here & thats it "and a "AWW they're kicking you out?" from a professor (very lazy one too that failed me). But any who, I def wouldn't advise anyone NOT to try it out there because the work CAN be done especially if you are having difficulty with taking entrance exams. The school is very expensive but honestly aside from the Comm. college schools what school isn't? Lastly, There are also a lot of inconsistencies that happened to me as well that I won't discuss because I will look VERY petty but Im not trying to be so I ain't saying it . Oh and during covid they had zero remorse. If you had it you would have to lie about symptoms to get into school because they still will fail you if you had miss an exam. I had covid and I had to lie and say I didn't have it just to take tests because you aren't excused or weren't if you had it. A REMINDER: The school is ran by NURSES that are upholding Nightingales rhetoric and the preachings of patient care guys. If you don't care about students how the entire FUCK can you care for patients? God bless and don't be discouraged.

My experience at this school has been extremely disappointing due to the discrimination I witnessed…read moreand experienced. One of the staff members, Natalie Ramirez, consistently displayed bias and discriminatory behavior. She openly favored Hispanic students while making demeaning, inappropriate, and racist remarks toward Black students. Instead of encouraging and uplifting students equally, she would put down girls of color and create an environment that felt hostile and unsafe. No student should ever feel belittled, disrespected, or treated differently because of their race or background. Nursing is a profession rooted in compassion, respect, and equality--values that were not upheld in this program. I share this review not out of malice, but because future students deserve to know what they may encounter and because institutions of education must be held accountable for ensuring a fair and inclusive environment for all.

I'll be the first to review, when I researched this school in FASA, the graduation was 100% no retention or transfer, but all lies apart, I didn't even finish my finals, because anyway I failed, and came late in my first exame they make up. I live in NY, reality is traffic and accidents happen in every human life, but they don't care, making no sense according to advise even to try the finals, before that happen I desperately looked for any kind of help, advice, anything, just try harder next test, there no quizzes or any kind of mental stimulation or practical knowledge. If you lost your first test or came late, just drop right there, at least you get some money back, because my first test I was late and could not finish so I was done. They don't care, don't give a chance to finish or make another again, if you work or have any other problem is your problem like everything else. There is $1440,00 only for Tech fee, so you get IPAD Mini that doesn't cost even $300,00 so they don't have the work to correct the tests all give by EXAMSOFT. The cost for freshmen is $6691,00 first trimester only. Many others that also fail will try again next year, they said that we have to learn by ourselves, disappointed to find that, why am I paying almost $10.000,00 if I have to teach myself? Dont expect to even learn phlebotomy in your RN, they are not responsible! Clinicals are OK, but if you graduate your employer wants your certification, besides all students in my class at least 80% including myself have already experience in the hospital set. There is no difference from Community College, so judge by yourself if work pays this extra money, more nobody makes any kind of criticism because they have to come back and finish, we are trapped there. Most students like me come a board with big loans, and they have come from other Colleges just trying to finish this "TWO YEARS" nursing degree.

The best thing about this course is that they will focus on topics that have higher priority and will advise on which sections to spend more of your time on. From my experience, I would recommend reading the book prior to taking the exam and taking this bootcamp course as a refresher. You should not rely solely on the bootcamp to pass the course as the CISSP has a lot of info that may require more time to study.
