You'll die of old age waiting for anyone to help you. Sure, they can put you in a room, there's plenty of empty tiny little rooms they can leave you in for all day and night while they ignore you and ignore your winces of pain. This the last time I go to any ER in Cedar Rapids, Iowa unless I'm unconscious or dead. At both hospitals they are very snotty and disrespectful. Up to four nurses were with me in their x-ray and CT scan department to help me transfer over to the scanners and take readings. Someone was with me all the time. I'm also currently using the Hall Perrine Cancer Center for ongoing treatments. All the staff there are very friendly, pleasant, and professional. Absolutely no mysteries, they will tell you exactly what's going on, what needs to be done and when they're doing it. I highly recommend this great institution.

The care and assistant resulted in a complete refund from our trip insurance. The staff is stellar, friendly, always greeting her my name, patient, caring. Then another 4 hours to finally admitted her surgery went smooth but she is allergic to the glue and was on her chart and we discussed with the nurse and they still used it. Later that night of surgery they wanted to get her up to walk, it had now been around 15 hour and still no one had gotten her up to walk. also thru the night they only gave IV pain meds but the chart says to alternate between IV and oral. Also she left room to get a scan and when she came back to the roon no one hooked up her IV, we she to ask twice before some one came in. Everything just moves so so slow. Worst experience ever. should have just went to Mercy
