I can't even begin to properly convey how problematic my short time with PA has been, but I'll try. I underwent ADHD testing in February, and I was diagnosed officially, as well as with social anxiety and rejection sensitive dysphoria. The provider was thoughtful, on time and generally competent. Then it all went horribly wrong. As part of my treatment, I was referred to a therapist and a prescriber, both within the PA system. I first had my appointment with the therapist. I showed up on time, checked in, and waited. There was a sign at reception saying that if you have not been called back 10 minutes after the appointment start time, to let them know. At the 10 minute mark, I flagged them down, and they said that they would call the therapist again. Ten minutes later, she had still not come out even though reception kept calling her. My anxiety went through the roof, and I ended up leaving without ever being seen. I was rescheduled with another therapist, who then canceled my appointment the day before. I was rescheduled for 2 weeks later. My session was...weird. I believe the purpose of therapy is to allow the patient to talk, but the therapist seemed to make it a game to try to finish my sentences before I could. In the meantime, I have been receiving paper invoices when I specifically directed that for privacy purposes any billing statements be emailed or texted. HIPAA allows a patient to direct the format communications come in, and PA have completely disregarded my wishes. Both visits were denied by my insurance because the primary reason for the visits was noted as something completely different from the actual purpose. I'm not sure if it was a play to get more reimbursement, but it seems awfully shady. I requested both be resubmitted, and only one has, despite my repeated requests. Time is running out on the resubmission, so it looks like I'm going to be out several hundred dollars. I requested a refill of medication through Amazon pharmacy, which I have used for years. Amazon attempted to contact PA many times and they never responded, resulting in my having to go without my medication. Thankfully, I was able to explain the situation to my GP and he called in a script for me. They STILL have not called Amazon back. Another prescription was called into the wrong pharmacy, one that I do not have a relationship with so it took a while to get to the bottom of where it was sent and why no one called me about it. I called 11 days ago to speak to them about all the issues and the resubmission for insurance. I was told someone would get back to me that day as it was a priority. No call back. Ever. I called today to speak to them about the ongoing issues. I was told I would speak with a member of management. After being on hold for a lengthy period, I hung up. That was 3 hours ago and now the office has closed. Please stay far away. I wish I had. This level of incompetence, particularly with mental health services, would be laughable if it were not so damaging. read more

Well, first off, I have filed a written complaint with the licensing board against one of the clinicians at this practice for verbal abuse. So there's that. My experiences with this practice caused me significant psychological distress. I felt very condescended toward, and got the distinct impression that the clinicians here see mental illness as a weakness, and those with mental illnesses as fundamentally incompetent. I would recommend seeking treatment almost anywhere else. read more

I came here for ADHD testing in September 2018. The provider I saw (Dr O'Rourke) is fantastic. The staff is not. They mishandled my appointment times on several different occasions, and were incredibly rude about rescheduling. Once again: this was a mistake *they* made. They have also mishandled correspondence from my insurance company, billing me incorrectly for payments that had already been settled. They need to do some sort of office-wide re-training of the staff. Two stars because Dr O'Rourke saved my experience. read more

Dr Babcock answers all the questions we have about the child I take to him. He speaks plainly without medical jargon and gives examples of behaviors that illustrate the terms and labels about which I inquire. He is extremely knowledgeable and I am quite particular and opinionated about doctors. My husband is an MD. When I asked about ways to lower the medicine costs, he immediately looked online for manufacturer coupons, which there were! He also reminded me to compare name brand using the coupon to the cost of the generic and write the prescription so I could buy my choice. The office accepts online payments and is quite flexible with appointments. I am impressed. read more

My doctor doesn't return calls as he is "very busy" and "his schedule is booked" for the days he comes in. He prescribed a medication to me, which made me very depressed and I had really messed up dreams. So I stopped taking it and now I am very anxious and restless, it's hard to fall asleep. He can't even find the time of day to call me. read more

I've seen Dr. Wiebel for years and she has always been a great help. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because recently they've opened a separate branch and still only have one phone line. This occasionally makes calling them a bit frustrating. Overall excellent practice that you can trust. read more
