First you should know: I've had some severe dental trauma through the years. So finding Eastgate felt like a small miracle. This place is so amazing. They are patient, kind, and highly professional. I didn't want to cry in a corner after my visit; rare indeed! If you're someone who dreads the dentist or has been tortured/mocked/belittled/etc by one... you should go to this office. The Good: Eastgate staff are polite, attentive to dental care and prompt when you arrive. The Okay: Scheduling isn't the easiest, but understandable as doctors' offices generally can have these issues. The Unbelievable Worst: Their billing department has caused me enough stress that I have to let others know. I have had billing issues 3x now with Eastgate Dental where I have received an absurdly large bill and they have not properly billed my insurance. When I have addressed this with them, the staff member put the responsibility on me to call my insurance company during the workday on my own time. I have had the same insurance for over a decade and the only dentist I have had a problem with is this place. Eastgate Dental has corrected their issue - only at my insistence and it has been a headache to get fixed. And the ugly issue has returned yet again where they have failed at performing a simple duty of billing my insurance. These issues aren't the end of the world and fixable, but receiving bills in the mail for hundreds of dollars when I have provided my insurance to Eastgate Dental on multiple occasions is completely unacceptable. read more

I've always dread going to the dentist, I neglected my teeth out of my own fear of the dentist for the longest time because I just never went. When I finally realized I was in desperate need of a check up and dental work I did my research and settled on Eastgate Dental Excellence and so glad I did because I now go twice a year as I should! A couple of things that convinced my to try out Eastgate Dental Excellence was 1. they had sedation (which I ended up using when I became a patient) and 2. they had high reviews. I quickly found out why this was one of the best decisions I've ever made, the hours are wonderful, It's not easy for me to take off work for early appointments so I was relieved to find that they offered late and Saturday appointments, this is a super huge bonus! I also came to find their staff is AMAZING, they've always been super friendly to my family and always appear happy to see you. I've also seen every dentist at Eastgate Dental Excellence and they are all wonderful, I don't have a bad thing to say about any of them though my go to dentist is Dr. Kelly I know if I get scheduled with any other dentist I will always have a good experience. The over all building is super clean and my children enjoy the fish tank in the lobby. The dental work has always been excellent, and they work hard to make sure you get the best comfort. I also have gone through the Invisalign treatment with them and it was a great experience, I still can't believe I've gone from the teeth I had which was very crooked to a perfectly straight smile. I've recommended so many of my friends and family to them when in need of a dentist and so happy to hear that they love Eastgate Dental Excellence as much as I do. I know how hard it is to find such a truly wonderful and caring dentist office and that's why I can't recommend them enough to everyone! read more

The service was good but I was kind of surprised that it cost $279 to place an existing crown that pulled off using temporary adhesive, to tide me over until I can get to my regular dentist who was out of the office. Basically the dental assistant scraped the old adhesive residue off of the tooth and the dentist placed the crown back using temporary glue. I declined xrays for checking crown margins?? The receipt has no description of service performed, only the amount charged. 3 star rating is based on: Causing suspicion of overcharging due to price and non-transparency of services being charged for. read more

What an incredible Dentist office. The place is beautiful and well kept. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I had to bring my 3 week old son to my cleaning because my husband was called into work. The office manager offered to hold my son and care for him if needed, the dentist came in and talked to me about my teeth and my son, the hygenist Heather was incredible. I was able to feed my son while she cleaned my teeth, and she was super helpful and very friendly. She even gave him a dentists children's book to take home. I just cannot believe how professional and friendly this whole office is. Such a great experience. read more

i am 70 years old and had been a patient of Dr.Siemer. He retired and DR.Kuenmeir took over. All was fine and service was wonderful. Fast forward to today, service is amazing, people are fantastic, but, i never know who i am going to see . I miss the old style where you knew your dentist and knew your dental hygienist. it feels like an assembly line now, but they do incredible work. read more

I took my granddaughter here for a cleaning and checkup (4 years old). The staff was very nice, took us on a tour since it was our first time there. All of my insurance questions were answered and I might have showed up 30 minutes early and didn't have to wait. Heidi was great with my granddaughter and Dr. Dan explained future visits. I had to take 1 valium to walk in the door of a dental office for a cleaning until about a year ago. It's taken me 3 years to work up to getting a final crown done after my previous dentist retired. I tried to tell this practice how bad my dental anxiety is. I don't think they believed me and I certainly don't think they listened. I am an RN who certainly understands medications and how to scale them for patient needs. My entire medication history consist of one low dose antibiotic and eye drops for chronic eye problems, so med seeking I am not. This is the first time I was going to allow this practice to do more than a cleaning. When I was completely non-sedated [no, lowering the lights doesn't work team], I walked out. This practice is good if you want basic dental care and have ZERO dental anxiety. Otherwise, find a practice who will listen to you. This one does not. read more

Do not go to this dentist. They are not even dentists. They messed up my healthy teeth. I went for an annual check up and was told that I have a cavity that I was not aware of. After the treatment, I went through hell. All the staffs are not qualify for their job, and you will ruin your teeth. I told them I would pursuit a lawsuit against them. Especially the female doctor does not know what she is doing. She doesn't even know how to do a filling. My treated tooth hurt so much, so I wanted to go in as an emergency, but the office personnel put the lunch time message for the weekend, so I couldn't do anything but wait in tremendous pain. I went back and complained but no one showed any empathy. They were so busy covering themselves up and blamed my gum instead. Now they do not even want me to come to their office. I won't go there again anyway, but I really feel bad to be treated like this. First, they messed up. Next, they avoid any responsibilities, and finally they sent me an ugly looking letter (messy hand written letter, not even folded right) stating not to come to their office anymore. This is ridiculous and out of questions. For your own dental health, do not go to this dentist. They are crooks! read more
