A few years ago, Abigail Parente sent me to a job interview at a law firm without interviewing me in person, and then she expected me to lie about it. At the job interview, I was asked how I had met the recruiter and when I disclosed that I was approached and interviewed online, HR seemed annoyed. Long story short, the partner at the law firm told me that I was overqualified for the job. What was shocking to me was that the recruiter called me over the phone to scold and belittle me about my honesty during the job interview. She was the one who had put me in that uncomfortable position infront of HR because she was too lazy to Interview me in person. I even offered to meet with her, but she didn't want to. This company is unprofessional and lack customer service. They have no commitment to follow through and should be extremely concerned about the standards of their recruiters. I had a Carlos contact me relentlessly about an opportunity and so I found time to speak with him. After the conversation, he wanted to move me on to next steps and asked me to send him my availability for the rest of the week. He assured me that he would get back to me the next day or by end of the week. When that didn't happen, I reached out to him and he said he was speaking with the client later that day and would have an answer for me about the specifics of the next interview but it's been 4 days now and I haven't heard from him and he hasn't responded to my email or my texts! No update or attempt at a professional courtesy response, updating me on the situation. Just a waste of time and a false hope of consideration for an employment opportunity! If looking for a job wasn't hard enough, you now get to have mind games played on you and put on an emotional rollercoaster only to be ghosted! Just another temp agency placing ads to suck people in. A recruiter for them called me, I took the time to go and meet with her. What a total waste of time and gas. She looked at me like I had leprosy ( I am an older worker) and spent 10 minutes with me and then pronounced "I have nothing for you." I was referred to Eastridge by a trusted colleague since I was looking for high-level accounting work specifically within the legal industry. I know these positions are usually few and far between, but I was quickly contacted by Lauren Johnston, who happened to have a current position that fit my background perfectly. I was working at another company, but wanted to get back to the legal industry where the vast majority of my experience has been, so Lauren totally worked with me and was willing to do a telephone interview and set up an interview with the law firm at a time that was convenient for me. Lauren thoroughly explained the job description and the situation at the firm, that they had been growing rapidly, and let me know she had placed several people there already that absolutely loved working there. This was especially important to me, as I would be quitting the job I was currently in for this new position. After interviewing with several people at the law firm, I was offered the job the same day, and gave my notice to my former employer. I can not say enough about how Lauren made the whole process seamless. She patiently answered all my questions, always made herself available by email, phone and even text, and followed up with me weekly to make sure things were going well. It is a pleasure dealing with Eastridge as they are extremely reputable and I honestly feel like they care about both their clients and their candidates. Lauren is a true professional. I worked with Seth and Eastridge while I was looking for a new place to work last summer. After applying for one of their postings, Seth reached out to me about getting me a job. We talked about my background, my career aspirations, and what a good fit would be for me. I got an akward vibe from him as soon as I walked in the door. he seemed uninterested to attend me even though the waiting area was EMPTY. He made ZERO eyecontact while talking to me. Then after my interview I said thank you as I was walking out and he gave me a dirty look and said Nothing back. LMAO I didnt take it too personal cause I was looking forward to a fat joint I had waiting for me in my car :) My advice is to just look for a job on indeed or anyother jobsite. I worked a 3 day convention in SF, there was training the day prior to the start of it. I contracted with Eastridge through another agency. The location of our training changed without notification, so a lot of workers came early but sat and waited in the initial meeting place. I can only guess that there were a lot of moving pieces, but it was extremely disorganized. All of that aside, my negative experience was as a result of my assigned supervisor. I was assigned to his area the first day of the convention vs. during training, so I didn't receive any instructions on what I would actually be doing once I got to that area. When I found him, he was very short with me. This was my experience with him throughout the 3 days even though I showed up early each day, returned from breaks on time, and did my work well. His instructions were not clear, and when I would ask him any questions (because I hadn't received training like those that were pre-assigned may have) or even when I told him I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing, he would completely ignore what I said and say "please go to your post. Please." Sounds harmless until one considers the fact that he hadn't assigned me to a specific area, and that this was before I received any instruction on what constituted as "a post." Fortunately the other workers were helpful in helping me figure out what my role was, which turned out to be very simple. Really nice workers, but the supervisor was rude to me for no apparent reason from the moment that I encountered him, and was not willing to listen long enough to hear that I was willing to work, but was never briefed on what the expectations of my role were. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience with them. read more

After coming across a negative review written about one of this branch's employees, I felt compelled to write this quick review. I worked for Eastridge for exactly one year and before I left, the one person who remained a constant source of encouragement and helped to develop me both professionally and personally was Kristin Carpenter. Kristin was my manager for about 3 months before she was promoted and moved offices, however those 80+ miles did nothing to stop her from taking copious amounts of time out of her busy schedule to make sure I was doing well. She was always available to answer any questions I had, offer advice, and provide solutions to problems I could not have even begun to solve by myself. The amount of people I had to disappoint with the news that "Kristin no longer works in our office" was never ending, as Kristin leaves such a lasting impression that it is extremely difficult to imagine having to accomplish any task without her. She is kind, personable, organized, intelligent, and someone whose dedication toward her work is unmatched by anyone I have ever seen.
