Very responsive and capable crew. Thanks AAA for recommending them. Due to our membership it was free for us to get a tow to our mechanic.

I then called montana towing out of drummond montana. Immediately I was greeted with courtesy, respect, and quick response. The willingness to take care of this and to work with me was second to none. Collin made sure the vehicle was taken care of and I was safe before even worrying about the rest. The price was def better than anywhere else as it didn't seem that money was their number 1 priority. Helping people def is. I recommend this company over any company out there. They set the bar extremely high when it comes to customer service, safety, and general concern for people. Thank you guys for nothing short of perfection. 1 Star - Worst Towing Experience Ever with Bitterroot Towing…read more Avoid Bitterroot Towing at all costs. This company is a complete disgrace to customer service and professionalism. I broke down near Hamilton and was unlucky enough to call them. From start to finish, it was an absolute disaster. First, they gave me a "30-minute" ETA that turned into nearly 3 hours with zero updates or courtesy calls. When I called to check in, the dispatcher acted like I was being a nuisance--no empathy, no urgency, just rude and dismissive. When the driver finally arrived, he was unprofessional, clearly irritated, and treated my vehicle like it was junk. He didn't bother to explain what he was doing, didn't make eye contact, and dragged my car onto the flatbed in a way that damaged the bumper. No apology. Just attitude. And then the bill--outrageous charges for "extra labor" and "off-road recovery" even though I was on a paved shoulder off Hwy 93! When I tried to dispute the charges, they blew me off and hung up mid-call. That's not just bad service--it's blatant scamming. This place is a joke. Bitterroot Towing doesn't care about its customers, their time, or their property. I wouldn't trust them to tow a shopping cart, let alone a car. Do yourself a favor and call literally anyone else in Ravalli County.

They definitely have some issues to work on…read more.. TRUST IS EARNED, NOT GIVEN We took our Suburban in to be looked at for a number of things. Wayne called me later that day and gave me the list of items they want to replace, totaling around $2000. That was all fine except that one of the items was the front shocks. Those shocks were no more than 3 months old and had maybe 5k miles on them. I told them the shocks were new and them telling me they needed to be replaced made me question the validity of everything they're telling me needs to be done. I also told him that I may want to get a second opinion. Not once was I rude, I didn't curse, and I didn't yell. Wayne said he was going to go look into that and look for himself and would get back to me. I said that sounded good and expected to hear back from them soon. The next day they called and talked to my wife. They re-affirmed that the shocks were compressing more than they should and I might want to contact the manufacturer to see if they could be warrantied. Fine, that makes sense, I figured I'd do that after they finished all of their work. I called them back the next day and told Wayne to go ahead with all of the work except for the shocks (about $1400 worth). He responded by telling me they've decided not to do any of the work because I don't trust them. He continued to make excuses about why he didn't have all of the info when we first talked on day 1, etc etc. Trust is EARNED, not GIVEN. They further explained what they found with the shocks, I accepted it, and we moved on. THEY didn't though. At the end of the day, I expressed concern that what they were telling me needed to be done may not be valid due to the fact that they wanted to replace 3 month old shocks. They further explained the issue with the shocks, I said that's totally fine, lets do everything else and I'll take a look at the shocks myself, only to have them respond 2 days later saying they've decided not to do the work since we don't trust them. I called back and asked for the owner to call me (I believe it's Brent) and as of now, I have not heard from the owner. BUYING AND SELLING CARS I personally haven't been in this situation with Sharp, but I know several who have. They'll take their car to Sharp for a repair. Sharp will come back with an estimate for the work. If the cost of the repairs are more than the owner wants to pay, they'll sometimes offer to buy the car off the owner for pennies on the dollar and sometimes also sell them a different car they had previously fixed. Doing this in itself isn't bad. It could actually be a great option for some owners with a costly repair. The issue is that Sharp is financially incentivized to make certain repairs more expensive, causing the owner to more likely want to sell the car to them. They can then buy and fix the car for pennies on the dollar, then turn around and sell that car to someone else for a higher profit AND sell the original owner a car as well. They're incentivized to buy your car off of you for cheap, not necessarily to fix your car for you. While it would have been nice to use them going forward due to location and their prices appear to be pretty decent, we'll be choosing other shops in the future and recommend others do as well, or at least don't ever plan to question what they tell you or they might kick you to the curb.

He called everyday after Monday to find out how his car was coming. Everyday they said it will be done tommorrow. Saturday , over a week later, at 1:15 they call to say it's done. 5 Days over due!!!! We get to the shop and try to figure out what happened. This is what happened! They didn't get the parts till wednesday, but still, on Monday and tuesday and wendesday when we called said it would be done tommorrow! They should of said they don't have the parts and we will let you know when we get them to begin work on your car, not it will be done Monday, knowing they didn't have the parts. Then they got the parts and instead of putting a push on getting it done since they were many days over due, they had a car to work on for the St. Patricks day parade, so they worked on it instead. Actually they said they worked on it back and forth, but I don't trust that they did. Okay, so it's done lets just pay and get out of here...Right? No!!!!! They don't take credit cards and they dont tell you that because they "have been open 70 years and have never taken credit cards". I'm not your customer buddy and don't plan on ever being again!!!!! It's now 1:30 on Saturday and there are no banks open, so we go on a wild goose chase with the credit card company on the phone to figure out what a traveling man with a credit card on a saturday can do in an emergency like this. In out mad dash to figure this out and get them on the road, the auto shop calls to say they will have to keep it a few more days to find out why there is oil in the Radiator!!!!!!! They have had the car 9 days now. They messed the job up and now have to keep it longer. It is Saturday and no other shops are open to take it to. We are stuck with these guys and they don't have a clue how to fix the problem. I told another friend what was going on and she said that her dad took his car there to get an axel replaced. IT FELL OFF ON THE WAY ONTO THE HIGHWAY!!!!!!! Right after they fixed it. Dumb and Dumber Auto.

I have friends that have similar experiences with them over the years. The clutch had gone out on the truck, and they had it back to me by Saturday. My family has always, and always will do business with the bourquins, and i recommend all my friends take their cars in there too. They have always been helpful, and stand behind their work. It sucks they dont take credit or debit, but they do take checks which is how we have always paid, And not taking cards is just a small draw back i'm willing to deal with in order to get the great guaranteed work done to my truck. Unlike other shops i've dealt with out of town, these guys wont do work without my approval, and wont try and sell me on things that dont need to be done. they are very fair priced, and very good at what they do...also they are a local family owned business, which here in missoula means a lot. I dont see how someone can give them a bad review, no one i know has ever had a problem with these guys, none of my friends, or my family. i strongly recommend y'all give these guys a chance to show you what great work they do.
