Our saving grace on the highway! We were on a trip through Missoula on our way to Bozeman and ran out of gas 1.5 miles from the exit. We pulled over to the side of the freeway and were in the process of calling whatever local roadside service might be available at 5 pm on a Saturday. I was waiting for a phone to ring from a local service when the white Montana Towing truck pulls up in front of us and the gentleman got out and asked if everything was okay. He was on his way home for the day and saw us from the other direction on the freeway. He turned around at the next turnabout in order to help us. Having to settle my wife and three girls in the car while we figured out what to do next, it was a welcome sight to see him pull aside. He offered what gas he had left in his spare can. But when that wasn't enough to get us going, he drove me to the next exit to get gas and drove me back to my car. He not only saved us a lot of anxiety but also money and time so that we could get back on the road. What a lifesaver! He was courteous, friendly and offered to help without any expectations, but we paid him what we could as a grateful thank you for his timely assistance and thoughtfulness to stop when he was on his way home. I would highly recommend Montana Towing, LLC. They are a small, privately-owned company in business for a little under two years and owned by what I can tell are two stand-up guys trying to make it on their own (We talked a while driving for gas). Our car quit us on US Hwy 93 on a Friday afternoon! Made a call to a friend who has lived in Missoula all her life, and she recommended Montana Towing (she called it Sparrs Towing). We called them, and their operator showed up, loaded our car on a rollback and delivered us to our friends home. We were on our way to the Guns n Roses concert and we had all the tickets! Their operator let us know that since we in a sort of a time crunch we could pay the bill on Saturday. I called several times, but got no answer. A little later I got a call back, and he told me that since their office was not open, that we could pay the bill on Monday! Just paid the very reasonable bill! when i got my car stuck in the snow up in the mountains, the friends who came and got me out got stuck themselves trying to get back down the mountain. we had no cell service and ended up having to call dispatch to get a tow out. montana towing was the only company willing to come out to get us. mike not only got my friends out and guided them back down the road, but stayed and helped me get back down too, even though i was no longer stuck. i told him i was willing to leave my car land come get it the next day, but he insisted on getting us both down and was successful in doing so. he was so kind and supportive through the very long and slow process. overall amazing service, and montana towing is very lucky to have such a wonderful employee. read more

Having our car transported from VA to MT, Montana Towing was wonderful at receiving our car, storing it until our arrival in Montana and then towing it from Missoula to Sula...a 2 hour drive. Once the car arrived home, it was given such care as it was removed from the tow truck and placed gently in the driveway. The driver was very skilled, kind, courteous and friendly. We slid off a forest road and rolled down the slope. Montana Towing is the only company in the area with 4 wheel drive rigs that could make it up an icy forest road. They were great. They called to confirm that they got the truck and offered to mail our belongings to us since we live 2 hours away. They cleaned up all debris at the crash. Best service ever. We were stuck on the side of I-90, waiting for a tow truck to pick us up after our car stopped working. We were ready to wait an hour and a half when Danny from Montana Towing picked us up before the other company could. He had been radioed in by the state trooper and was there 10 mins after he got called. He then took our car to the shop where it got priority service.
