I literally paid for the service in full and literally my service address has not been touched at all. They have done nothing.!!!!!!!!!! This was during one of the really bad snow storms they have done nothing they have not came to this house at all and done. Nothing then they have the audacity to be closed on the weekend with no follow up numbers nothing for $400. I think they can do better. read more

This is the worst snow ploughing company that I have had to deal with - if you want to pay someone to plough your driveway and do it yourself anyway - this is the way to go. They will try to find any and every reason in the book to try and not come to clean your driveway. There were 2 occasions with snow storms when their drivers who apparently were ploughing "all day and all night" showed up at 6 pm to clean my driveway after I called 4 times. Their contract says that they will make every attempt to clean by 7 am - in fact they make every attempt to not clean the driveway at all. Office staff is extremely rude, especially the owner (Jim) and the manager (Gary). Gary talks to you as though he is doing you a huge favor by cleaning your driveway despite having charged for it at the beginning of the season. It is funny how every other snow ploughing company in my neighborhood measures snow as 2 inches and more and clean their driveways but when I call eastside, they say it has not snowed at all and per their measurement (!), they won't come to clean. I have had to email them pictures of my driveway and even then no luck. I want to make everyone aware of the terrible service they provide - please see the attached picture of my driveway that these guys said is not enough snow to clean and decide for yourself. read more

First and last year using them for snowplowing. They use a commercial size plow on private residences so they cant maneuver to do a thorough job. I still have several feet of my driveway untouched because their driver isn't able to maneuver to clean properly. They should be sending a smaller plow to get the job done. Complete waste of money and when they come a second time it's the middle of the night and do one pass and leave. I guess they were hoping I was asleep and wouldn't notice. Guess again. read more

This is our first year using Eastside Landscaping for snowplowing. They are HORRIBLE!!!!! The first snow fall we had, they did not come until 2:00 pm and the snow fell in the early morning hours. I'd rate zero stars if possible. Every year we were told there wouldn't be problems this year. Every year, we were an afterthought at best. Everyone for 5 states in every direction knew that 8 to 10" was going to fall Monday night. We had 3 to 4 inches at my house before 10 p.m. Monday night. I spoke with their booking department last Monday (11/4) morning to get setup for snowplowing service, sent in the payment last Wednesday (11/6), and they called me last Thursday (11/7) morning saying they couldn't fit me in. If you speak to someone, and you and they make an agreement on a service, you should be put unto the list, unless if you don't pay. And they gave NO indication on the first call that I would need to send in payment ASAP or else lose my spot. I definitely would not recommend this company. read more

Used them for years. Always good. NOT in 2018. Never at my house when I leave for work. Snarky guy on the phone always say they are great and abiding by the contract which will be my last with them. Used them for a year in 2018 for both landscaping and snow plow. Both services were very expensive compared to competition and not very good. Snow plow service was always late and said they followed contract. They charged over $400 for the plow service in 2018, while I am now paying $250 for better service. They over charged for hours supposedly worked and said it was in accordance with the contract. Rather than working with the customer they did nothing to resolve my issues. They performed leaf services when it was never asked for. They said they spent 3 hours removing leaves when they simply blew them into a forest. I never requested these these services and there is no way they spent the time they said they did. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!! read more

It's Monday, January 30th, 2017 at 10:00 am. It started snowing the prior Saturday night. We have yet, to be plowed out. The majority of our street went with East Side as a way to help prioritize - but they are no shows. My wife can't get her car out, we each have back issues and can't be shoveling - hence why we went with a plow service. There's been one needed instance of plowing so far this year - you'd think for the $250+ dollars we pay for the service, since we haven't needed it, they'd be on top of it. Obviously not. And now, they aren't answering their phones. We will be finding another company next year, one that's honest and reliable, not these thieves. read more

Drive plowed at 2:15 p.m. On 1/29/17. No sidewalk shoveled, which we pay extra for. No plow since 1/29. Called several times. Two different stories from a Tyler. Stated they did plow after midnight -- they did not. Separate team came to shovel walk at 7:30 a.m. On 1/31/17. When asked why they didn't come on Sunday was told they only come out when company calls and they won't be back until the next day no matter how much snow falls. Called office again and Tyler said they were doing second pass at plowing. This was the second story he gave us today. Driver showed at 1:45 p.m. On 1/31/17 he knocked over one of the driveway stakes and when my husband went out and said you knocked over the stake he yelled he'd been up for 15 hours and jumped out of the truck. i just missed 1/2 day of work after having to shovel over a foot of snow of my driveway. I feel like i paid a service for nothing. This season there were only 2 days when i could've used the snow plowing service and they failed to come on both occasions. They did however plow my next door neighbor who uses the same service. Really atrocious experience with these guys. We had used them for a couple of years for snow-plowing and found them perfectly great. We moved to a new house and wanted to add some services and everything immediately went to h***. We had to call them 4 times over a month to get a quote for lawn-mowing. Then an additional 3 times to try and get them to do a spring clean-up at our new and old property, because they had missed this part of the order. The first time we called they admitted they lost track of our order. Okay, no big deal. Then the next time, they got confused on all of the details of the clean-up, and they did the absolute worst clean-up you could imagine. It looked like about 30 minutes of work. Our beds were full of leaves, they put the debris by our street, although we specifically asked them to dump in our woods in backyard (my town doesn't haul away yard debris). Just a really, really rotten job. In addition they literally only mowed half our yard. Truly bizarre. Called again and they just hung up on us. My advice: Avoid. read more

I am a REPEAT Eastside customer of many years...but NO MORE. Today is January 31, 2017, and I am tired from having to shovel my driveway free of MORE than 4 1/2 inches of snow...all before I could take my 6 year old to school. I ALSO have an older SPECIAL NEEDS son, and needed to get him out to the bus...down a heavily snowfilled driveway, lifting him up to keep him from slipping and falling (and taking me down with him). I called Eastside when I woke up, and found the driveway unplowed, despite a heavy overnight snowfall...no answer, so I left a message. After I shoveled, I called again and talked to a young man who said all the snow plow operators needed to go home the night before to sleep, as they had been working hard from the previous snowfall. He asked me if I expected them to work round the clock, and plow 4 times in 2 days. I replied, I expected his workers to work in SHIFTS, to make sure everyone was plowed appropriately -- after all, that is what the service is...SNOW REMOVAL. I don't expect them to burn the midnight oil in April or September...But JANUARY, YES!! I also told him that when I sign up, every year, I explain that I have a special needs son, and I need the driveway plowed by 8 am. The response to this was predictably lame. I have had issues with Eastside for the last 2 years, maybe they are overextended...I don't know, but am VERY disappointed and upset. I will not use them next year...so sad. :( read more
