I waited a couple of days to cool down before writing this. This was my first visit to Eastside Salon, Callie. I saw she had some good reviews so I wanted to change and gave her a try. This is the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I think she is probably is a good hair stylist however, she simply didn't listen to what I was telling her when I sat down. To make this short, my hair turned out so bad the only fix was to cut it into a pixie which also was not good. I ended up going someplace else the next day but she was unable to fix it. Said to come back in about 6 weeks when it had grown out. Callie's last comment was "I know this isn't what you wanted but it doesn't look that bad".Not a good comment post haircut. I guess I should have noticed that all of her pictures were on very long hair. read more

I got a cut and color the week before my wedding then came back on my wedding day for an updo (both by Emily). She did a fantastic job and really listened to what I wanted. By biggest request was an updo that would hold up to hours of dancing. I got my hair done at 10am and not one strand came loose in the 14 hours I had it up. I was so impressed! The pricing is very affordable and I really like the atmosphere of the salon. I will definitely come back! read more

Since we live out of state, we did not get to do a trial before hand and we were a little worried. However, they were both so amazing! LOVE LOVE LOVE Heather at Eastside Salon. When I moved to Stanwood, I tried 5 different salons/stylists before I found Heather. She is the only one that does my hair the way I want. She is awesome with highlights/foils and cutting my hair too. Also she is very fun and sweet, which is an added bonus. Nice place. Friendly, sympathetic, competent service. Good haircut. Eyebrow wax was fine. (My sister had it done and liked them.) They pierce ears, too! I took my sister to get her (long, scraggly, gray) hair cut and Blanche couldn't have been nicer. My sister's new bob makes her look chic and grown up, rather than like an overage hippy. (Sorry Dana:( But you now look like your old -- Pretty! -- self!) One caveat: their website needs to take off the emphasis on drop-ins being available. We believed this and if it used to be true, it no longer is. Guess they are too good to stay unbusy. read more

I've been here twice, good experience both times. Usually able to fit me in same day. Emily and Chelsey have both given me great cuts.

Horrible experience. Went in for a dark root baylayage and a cut, left with spotty hair that was not blended down AT ALL, and a cut that is so uneven I have to go pay somewhere else to get it fixed. The stylist did offer to fix it but I did NOT feel comfortable in any shape or form allowing her to try again. I asked for a partial refund, (paid 205 for service and tipped 35 for time spent) and got offered back $25 which never I never recieved. They do say the refund is up to the stylist, so by no means do I recommend Mekenzie Gran. I am sure she does some decent work but when presented with her own mistakes her customer service is clearly lacking. read more

Best salon in Stanwood... Hands down. Hip & trendy atmosphere, with a classy, up-scale feel. I go to Courtney and won't see anyone else. Not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for! Worth every penny for the professional service and results. read more

Exceptional service. Angela does great color and is a sweetheart. Blanch is my fave, very experienced and always gives a great cut.

After I moved to Camano Island I was still driving all the way to Bothell to get my haircuts. I finally accepted that I was being ridiculous and should find someone close. I was referred to Eastside Salon. Barb looked at the plethora of pictures that I had and did the exact cut I wanted. In fact it is better than I ever remember having. The salon is clean and pleasant. Everyone was friendly. This find is a real winner. I am not going to miss the 120 mile round trip drive anymore. read more

Best place around town. There are stylists for every type of person whom specialize in many different styles. They are extremely nice and amazing and will try their absolute best (like always!!) to get you to what you want with your hair. Hair is a process depending on what you're trying to get to, and they will most certainly exceed the limits of trying to get you to the color/ cut you need in an exceptional way. Oh, and Chelsea St. John is an absolutely AMAZING esthetician! She specializes in eyelash extensions, and has specialty waxing. She does amazing brow waxes. I would recommend calling in advance for an appointment, as many stylists have booked schedules, but it doesn't hurt to try the day of :) love this salon and love the stylists. Great hair stylists, great people. Will be looking forward to my next visit. read more
