Everything seemed fine at the time of booking, but when I reached out in January to schedule my trial, I received no response. I followed up multiple times over the course of four months via email, text, and phone calls--ignored every time. My wedding planner also attempted to contact her on my behalf, with no success. At this point, it is clear this is not a case of a missed message or temporary delay--Yessie ghosted me as a client. Because of this, I was forced to find and book a new hair and makeup artist under time pressure, adding unnecessary stress during what is already a busy planning period. To make matters worse, I never received my deposit back. For other future brides out there, please do not let Yessie scam you. Neil & Fiona of MXBloom were our power couple duo that provided both photography & videography services. Back in fall of 2022, they did our engagement shoot. We originally weren't that interested in doing one, but that was one of the best decisions because it allowed us to interact with Fiona (& Neil) before our big day. She directed us, captured our moments beautifully, and was so fun to work with. On our big day, Neil & Fiona were a rockstar team! They were professional, polite, AND also so much fun to have around! What I found particularly striking was their ability to capture the candid and posed moments throughout the day, without us feeling like we had to break from "being in the moment" (if that makes sense.) You could tell throughout the entire time, they were both "on" and trying to identify all the amazing, key moments to photograph/video. There were several times we had to shift our timeline during the wedding, and they were both very responsive and accommodating to those changes. They worked so well with our DJ/MC Alan (which by the way, is such an important aspect - vendors being able to work together like one team.) Their service and value provided was worth every cent. And given our wedding was a blending of our Asian (Chinese/Vietnamese) heritage and Western upbringing, we felt Fiona & Neil were the PERFECT people to document our big day. I've done a body treatment that's left my body clean and refreshed, but I mainly come back for the hour long facials and massages. The massages are relaxing and she gets all my knots out without digging hard, and she also gave me some suggestions for exercises to do in order to prevent soreness in tight spots like my shoulders. I like to get a facial at least once a season with the changing temperatures and she always goes over the ingredients, oils, and lotions she's using, and you get a nice shoulder and arm massage too! I really like the products she sells as well, Sweet Sisters, which is a local Washington brand that uses natural, organic ingredients. The meal was quite a small portion size. And they don't seem to be able to manage 10 guests eating at once very well as they only offer eggs either over easy or scrambled eggs. The pancakes were 2 mini ones and the next day they served 1 1/2 slices of French toast on those Thomas cinnamon swirl bread so not much food. The mattress was super hard, made our arms fall asleep for side sleepers.
