I knew it was time to call Dr. Cho again. He was kind enough to squeeze me the same day. He indicated that my pelvis was out of alignment and did his thing. I am happy to report that I feel sooo much better just after 1 treatment. I thought it would take a few adjustments before I started feeling any improvement...but luckily, I am already feeling it after just 1 adjustment!!! found this place that opens 7 days a week, 10min from the house. as we've just moved to this area…read moreand need to find a new doctor. also needed to get my coughing checked out fast. all other doctors have a long wait schedule. loved it opens 7 days a week and welcomes walk-ins, what a concept?! came in twice so far, both time were walk-in and greeted by the front desk staff and waited about 30mins before I was seen by PA on duty. 1st visit was with Amy, who assessed my symptoms and prescribed antibiotics and cough medicines for my cough. I took the medicine and recovered after I finished the medicine. Amy was very friendly and answered my questions on the doctors and clinic/office operations. 2nd visit was for my pain at the back of the ankle (achilles) for almost 3 months. Don walked in with a huge smile and very friendly and checked my foot and found a bump at the back of heel that needed x-ray to confirm. (when I saw my podiatrist twice in the last month, he didn't even notice it). only problem is the x-ray order form had a wrong address that I ended up driving around to find the correct location. I've decided to make an appointment with the MD in the house to see if I can change my PCP to this location for convenience. earliest appointment is 2 months away, hopefully this is bc MD is on travel, and not a typical trend for scheduling. but at least the PAs were knowledgeable and the staffs were very friendly. They know what they are doing!…read more Overall my 3 visits have been 4.0. - Both doctors have alot of experience having worked at hospitals in China for ever 35 yrs - Dr. Shi is the herbalist - Dr. Bao is the acupuncturist Dr. Shi took a look at my tongue and took my pulse and determined I was in really bad shape (everything out of balance). The medicines and treatment protocols they gave me helped alot with my sudden neural hearing loss. - Dr. Shi knew immediately it was related to my weak kidneys (in Chinese medicine, hearing loss and the kidneys are connected) - She advised herbals to boost my kidney function and overall health - I started to hear more and feel better after each treatment They have 2 acupuncture tables, divided with curtains. It can get cold even with their space heater on b/c it's inside a grocery store. - The tables are kind of small and narrow, so Dr. Bao will bring extra stools. blankets or pillows to rest your arms, etc. - It's a little disorganized and messy, but if you can withstand it, you will be helped. Some items can be pricey: - The MAIN customized medicine of 120 capsules were $150 - 1st meeting / consultation with 1 hr of acupuncture and two herbal remedies about $145 - Each acupuncture session after that is about $100 (but their sign for services says $70; don't know why mine is more) - Maybe b/c of MOKSA treatment (burning some kind of mugwort over my belly area) to help boost kidney function? You may have to wait even though you made an appointment a week in advance. My last appointment I could not wait as I had a tight schedule, so I left.
