Not sure how I ended up hurting my back 2 weeks ago..probably lifting my now 60lb son!! I started having this ache and weakness on my left lower back this time. I thought if I just rest and stretch, it will go back to normal. After 2 weeks, it had not improved at all and now I started having a sharp pain radiating to my hip. I knew it was time to call Dr. Cho again. He was kind enough to squeeze me the same day. He indicated that my pelvis was out of alignment and did his thing. I say this with a full heart, Dr. Cho, hands down saved me from possibly making a BIG mistaking in me requesting for him to adjust my back. He tested flexibility and saw that I had limitations to my flexibility. Long story short, I found out that I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (my spine was calcifying). Thus, my spinal flexibility was very limited. If he would have tried to adjust my back like other chiropractors did by my request, it could been that one time and I could have injured my back and it would have effected my life in the long term. Cannot thank him enough. Dr. Kim, has made my life comfortable and livable on the daily with acupuncture knowledge and practice. Seeing Dr. Kim every 2 to 3 weeks has changed my life in a way where my body is able to function as naturally as possible. As I have had some back injuries that stemmed from heavy lifting during exercise, I finally needed to check this place out and WOW. Dr. Cho DIGS deep into your muscles. He is very thorough, always able to squeeze you in but never makes you feel like you're being pushed out. His constant rotation of Michael Buble is kind of funny if I must say since it contrasts to much with how hard he can be with digging in your muscles. He's made me feel GREAT I haven't tried the acupuncture here just yet, though I definitely do want to. I have found when chiro work doesn't fix me, acupuncture usually does. I was able to get in last minute, the guy at the front desk had No social skills. When he checked me and put me into the room next thing you know he was giving me the adjustment. He was rushed and didnt seem to care about much other than getting me adjusted. I'm a big guy and when he adjusted me it didn't feel like you did anything. I am writing this review for my Mom who has suffered from regular (nearly everyday) migraines for 40 years. I've been suffering from digestive problems for quite a few years, with chest pains, and left side hurting.. Ended up in the Emergency room a few times due to chest pains (or what I thought were chest pains). After tons of test to no avail, they said maybe it's just Gerd or acid reflux and put me on some prescriptions (which I never took) due to looking at the terrible side effects. I decided to give acupuncture a try and it was definitely the best decision I made. After just 3 sessions, I'm not longer experiencing any digestive problems and I feel great.
