From front end desk staff to sales, to financials, production, builders, engineers, painters, electrical, and the entire East Wood Team, very inclusive of the owner, Mr. Bill Clous. I worked with this team for months on end, because of recent and permanent disability, I was not sure home ownership would be a possibility for my wife and I. I looked into many, many different areas and methods of home loans to no avail. Then I contacted East Wood Custom Homes an things began to look up and much more positive. I explained my very difficult situation in becoming a home owner since my accident has left me severely and parentally disabled unable to pursue work any further. We were able to obtain our home with the great respect and help from this wonderful team. They walked me through all options available and I think even made up some new ones to fit our situation, all in order for us to obtain a home. We lived in an East Wood Custom Home, for over twenty years in the past. We moved and then once I became disabled, we moved back and are now very proud owners of another East Wood Custom Home. These homes are a very quality built home with dedication to detail. They are custom to the buyer with many different options and details to fit any life style. Honestly, we would not have been able to obtain a home if it were not for the wonderful understanding and help from East Wood Homes. Mr. Clous is a hand shack man, in fact, once he shook my hand, I knew the deal was set in stone and my comfort and knowledge of this was never questioned. He is a man of his word and is very proud of that fact. This is the way his company operates. On the beliefs that a hand shake is a man's word and the quality, dignity, helpfulness, time exerted, understanding of every different situation requires these traits, as does the quality of the home itself. The pride of this company is unwavering in every detail. I could go on and on with example after example of all the help and sincere understanding, hard work and dedication of this company, but I would just be redundant and repetitive. This is our fourth home and second from East Wood Custom Homes, and I would not even entertain another builders home over East Wood. You simply cannot get better service, advice, help, understanding, communication as being an individual and not just a buyer. I am a real person with unique situations, and this company believes and treats me as an individual with real needs. Thinking of the possibility of building a retirement home was nothing short of daunting, and we really had no idea where to start. Then we visited Eastwood and that all changed. They have myriad home plans, which was the starting point we needed, and we asked if they could build 'this house' with 'these changes,' and they said 'absolutely!' Bill, Julie and Scott were our go-to people, and they never disappointed. It was definitely a learning process for us, and they were all very gracious throughout, from inception to completed project. As first time homebuyers, Eastwood Custom Homes provided excellent service while searching, purchasing and closing on our home. They made the process quick and easy. They were very knowledgeable about the market and helped us to get the best deal possible. They helped us navigate through all the paperwork...a process that most home owners dread but it was a piece of cake with their assistance! As every new homeowner knows, there are always some issues that come up with new home construction. We have had some fairly minor quality issues with our new Eastwood home but the builder (Ron and Bill Claus) have been right on top of it. They had the appropriate crafts people come out in a timely manner to fix these things. Ron has been great on communicating a schedule and keeping it. Ron and Bill are very pleasant and respectful and you can tell they are proud of their work. They listened to our needs and made good on correcting problems. I moved into an Eastwood house in September, 2019. It is the Edson model 3 BR 2 full baths + 2 car garage. In floor radiant heat. This house exceeds my expectations for comfort and livability. We have had a pleasurable experience with Eastwood. There few minor issues we ran into were fixed very quickly. None of these issue were outside of what you can expect with a newly built home (an outlet not working, mini split wasn't cooling properly, etc). We love our home & how energy efficient it is.
