I dropped them off at Suntar's Kennels in Saco Maine this morning. My vet boards her own animals there which helped with a lot of my separation anxiety. After an extremely stressful day on about three hours of sleep, I was able to finally sit down around 4pm. The first thing I felt was the emptiness of my home without their presence. I called Suntar's to see how they were settling in. The woman I spoke with went into the room they were staying in to tell me what they each were doing at the moment. Since all of the other cats where in their cages, she let McKinley out. I asked if Lincoln and Kennedy ( who were sharing a cage) could go out with him. She let them all out to play together! She explained to me in great detail what each one was doing. I gave her some suggestions on how to handle their personalities and soon they were all out in the room together. Just having that 10 to 15 minute phone call relieved all my worry, guilt, and stress. My bill will be only $33 total for all three cats!!!! Please share this business and recommend them as much as you can. Their kindness and dedication shines through in all they do.

Mary is wonderful, always accommodates requests (I picked my 2 pups up on her day off), her kennel is professionally built and has beds and blankets for the pups. Rather than small kennels there are the full size kennels where one or two pups can be housed with plenty of room for the kennel staff to move around and plenty of room for the pups to move around, while still being very safe. So glad I found this location. Fully trust Mary to take care of my pups when I need to be away.

Expect a day trip for 2 to be over $100 for tickets alone. Food and drink in the park is pricey, like you would expect for an amusement park. The great thing about Funtown is that you are fully able to bring in your own food. My family opted for the annual season pass, as we come multiple times a season. If you plan to attend more than once, I highly recommend going the pass route. It pays for itself after 2-3 trips. Does it need updating? Sure, but honestly, it's part of the charm. My family and I had a good ol' time at Funtown Splashtown USA when visiting Maine this summer…read more We've never visited this park, and now that our kiddos are taller and can ride all the rides, we thought we would give it a try. We went on a Wednesday at the end of June and it was not crowded at all. My kids had a blast! Right when the park opened we headed to Excalibur and rode it about 4 times to start off the morning. Everyone was so excited to ride it that many times. It's a wooden roller coaster that is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it. We hit all the Funtown rides multiple times. They loved the bumper cars, the vintage car track, the wild mouse, thunder falls log flume (which gets a little bumpy, but it cools you down on that drop), Atmosphere (which is an indoor Sizzler type ride with music and animations, that is the weirdest thing I think I've even seen in my life), and especially Whispering Pines Haunted Hotel. That last one is a dark ride where you have to save people from ghosts. You get a laser type gun to shoot at the targets and keep your score. I'm not sure how accurate they really were, but it was fun none the less. After a pretty "meh" lunch, we headed to the Splashtown area. They have a few water slides, a pool for the kids to swim in, and a little splash pad. The water slides were fun, until I bonked my head goind down Amphitrite's Challenge. You go down head first on a mat and for some reason on one of the turns my head didn't follow along. It hurt pretty bad, and I had one of the EMT's on staff help me out. He was very very nice and gave me an ice pack. I appreciated his kindness as I felt so silly after the event. Overall, we had a fun day exploring Funtown Splashtown USA. If you are looking for something to entertain the kiddos for the day, this is definitely a nice option.

Irresponsible and deceitful breeder. One star because I had to select one…read more We purchased our GSD puppy from Doreen in November of 2020. We were told that she would be "a great family dog." We inquired about he parents temperment and were told they would produce good family dogs. We decided not to bring her back to Doreen for training because we had heard mixed reviews from other owners who had used her. We instead went with a trainor with over 30 years experience. We did individual sessions as well as a 4 week long board and train, followed up by refresher sessions. Additinally we worked with our K9 officer who has many years experience working with and traing GSD. Our dog was more work than any other GSD we had ever raised but we continued to put in the time and effort. Keeping her challenged and exercised. Our trainer, the K9 officer and our vet had expressed concerns about our dog and the breeder, but felt if we kept putting in the work she would become more confident and secure. Unfortunately, just shy of 18 months, she started getting more skittish and anxious. She started growling and cowering, and bit 2 family members. When we sought the advice of our trainer, K9 office and vet, they all stated we need to either return her to the breeder or euthanize her. We reached out to Doreen and she stated she did not have any room and could not accept her so "just put her down.' We were shocked. We continiued to try to work with the dog and our suppprt system but finally came to the conclusion that she must be euthanized. We again reached out to Doreen and she exhibited no concern for our dog or family. She admitted that the father could be very difficult to deal with and "she doesn't push him" but she had no way to not that our dog's behavior was genetic. She made no offer to evaluate our dog's behavior and never questioned our training process. When we asked if this had happened before, or is dogs were ever returned to her she stated "2-3 dogs per year get returned". Unacceptable. Most breeders have not had 2-3 dogs returned to them in a lifetime. We then asked if she would return our fee and were told no and "fine just bring her back." From the beginning of this experience we never felt we would return her to Doreen as she created this problem. We have now euthanized our dog. We are saddened and shocked by this turn of events. An honestly sick about the fact that Doreen will continue to breed animals. Find another breeder!!!!!!!

Less than 20 minutes later the squeaker and all the stuffing was torn out before my other two boys had their chance to play with it.
