Went for the YCMF two years in a row, both times were amazing! I go back every year. Always an amazing time, very family friendly.

Looking for an awesome family park that has something for everyone well this is totally it! This park was awesome we came here after 3 so that we could get in at a cheaper rate as we didn't intend on spending a ton of time here it as it was all about Excalibur my 325th coaster credit and I must say that it definitely ranks up towards the top of the wooden coasters I've ridden all over the country an awesome ride from start to finish with just the right amount of airtime to fun elements you really can't go wrong! Another thing about this park is that it was very clean I work at a park so this is one of the things I always look for and for me to say it's well taken care of is definitely a compliment to the associates here as I don't always say that! The go karts rocked as well as they had a fun layout and it was just super awesome to race as it's been a long time since I've done this! The water park was a good size and had some cool slides but like I said before it was all about Excalibur and just the whole awesome vibe here! Overall super cool park I hope to see them get another coaster in the future as that would just make an already cool park that much better!

It's great and all, but seriously, we NEED more roller coasters. One doesn't cut it. The Excalibur was good though.

We loved the water slides, cleanliness, and friendliness of the lifeguards and staff at the waterpark. It was so quiet mid week, we were sometimes the only ones in the baby area. The hotel is clean and affordable for our family; we wanted a space for our baby to sleep while we stayed up, so the Alcove Room was amazing for this purpose! The view from our room is beautiful, and the hotel is quiet. We loved that if we didn't want to go outside into the cold, we didn't have to. Breakfast, coffee, pizza, dinner, and a bar were all a walk away from our room. Housekeeping is great. The hotel has a texting service so if your room needs attention or if you need toiletries/towels, you can text the front desk. I would definitely return midweek for the free water park admission! Hotel room needs some TLC, but it's clean and good for a casual getaway!

The staff quickly remedied the situation and we went to a new room on the second floor. Seems all the rooms have a terrace which was nice and our view was beautiful! The second room was not as updated but was clean and smelled fine. There was no loud sound issue which was nice. Occasionally heard kids running but nothing to crazy or late at night. One thing that I didn't like was the wall air conditioning units. Like the last time we were there, it turns off in the middle of the night, ugh! The sheets were kinda scratchy as well. Standard amenities: hair dryer (works well!), iron and ironing board, safe, in room Starbucks coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, cable, alarm radio/clock What I like about this hotel is the attached water park and the fun activities they have for the kids. Nightly marshmallow toasting (not a smore! Marshmallow only) and fun things like movie night, pool parties, arcade, and kite making activities. Plenty of parking but far away from the rooms on the left side of the hotel.

Accommodating, helpful and very friendly staff. We bought some fresh oysters down east but hadn't thought of the oyster knife. Asked the manager if, by chance we could possibly borrow an oyster knife? Well, due to liability issues, they would not allow me to borrow the knife but offered to have the chef shuck them for us (after signing a waiver!.....I hate where our country is, but totally understand!). We listened to live piano to relax us during a raining and "trafficy" day driving from down east and Acadia national park. Just one mile down the road from Walker's point (The Bush compound) I was really hoping that we might run into 'W' and Mrs. but to no avail. The room was well appointed and a corner room with beautiful views of the chanel. Picture commercial lobster boats moored at bouys as the tides rise and fall with the hours going by. A rainy day to start lead to clear skies and a beautiful bluebird sky with white puffy clouds to accent. Cranmore delivered just that and more. Lots of greens and blues where I could work on my skills, try trails with escalating difficulty, and still kick back when I just want to enjoy myself and not be a ball of nerves. I also enjoyed the length and variety of their many trails I could traverse. Was happy to have more options than just a quick up and down in a straight line over a full day of skiing. Their main lift was quick and skiers were able to load efficiently. Lots to look at on the way up. The day of my last visit there were several ski competitions going on just next to the lift so it was fun to watch people competing and see spectators make the trek up to watch as well. Ski patrol were out and about and lots of staff available to check in with as needed. The lodge itself had everything I needed... free cubbies to store your stuff, bench seating to change into your boots, adequate table space both up and downstairs to grab a bite to eat, indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces to huddle by, a bar and hot foods, and best of all... a bathroom at the same level as where you can ski up to so no having to navigate stairs in clunky footwear. Drop off area for skis, quick in and out to purchase tickets, simple walk over to a very large parking area. I can't wait to return when the opportunity arises!

The mountain coaster was the best part, and we only waited a max of 5 min in line, and ended up riding it 6 times. There was a longer line for the Soaring Eagle zipline and Swing, only because they can only hold a few people at a time. The chair lift had nice views. The trampoline was entertaining, but kinda one note. The inflatable obstacle courses were both scalding hot in the sun and had puddles from rain the night before, so my kids didn't like those. I'd recommend Cranmore Adventure Park for 2-3 hours of fun.

For me, the Polar steel coaster was too small and I didn't have enough leg room so knee hit the seat in front of me, then that padded bar punched me in the gut at the end. But the wooden coaster made up for that! I had much more leg room and the bar that holds you in was much bigger and didn't punch. Whew! I will say that overall the wooden coaster was more fun, though it does jerk you around more side-to-side. (I had really been looking forward to both coasters and the water rides!) The bamboo log type flume water ride was probably my favorite. I wasn't expecting that, but could have done it twice (and I'm 64)! The gentleman working the ride graciously helped me in/out of the "log" as it is moving the whole time and your feet get wet too, so it is tricky getting out. I thanked him a lot! I appreciated that Story Land provided free cubbies at each ride so we could stow eyewear and dry clothes etc. in totes/backpacks we brought along because no way would you take those on the rides. Many people brought a wagon with them and next time, we'll do that. I took a small canvas tote with a dry change of clothes, towel, and water shoes. I bought one drink and kept the cup to refill with water. I bought our whole family lunch and it was about what we spend at a full service restaurant ($150 for 7).
