I love Funtown! Rides are fun and most employees are friendly and efficient. Only negative is the prices for day admission ($50-$60) and some parts of the park need music. Overall Funtown is such a hidden gem and is very enjoyable!

Went for the YCMF two years in a row, both times were amazing! I go back every year. Always an amazing time, very family friendly.

Looking for an awesome family park that has something for everyone well this is totally it! This park was awesome we came here after 3 so that we could get in at a cheaper rate as we didn't intend on spending a ton of time here it as it was all about Excalibur my 325th coaster credit and I must say that it definitely ranks up towards the top of the wooden coasters I've ridden all over the country an awesome ride from start to finish with just the right amount of airtime to fun elements you really can't go wrong! Another thing about this park is that it was very clean I work at a park so this is one of the things I always look for and for me to say it's well taken care of is definitely a compliment to the associates here as I don't always say that! The go karts rocked as well as they had a fun layout and it was just super awesome to race as it's been a long time since I've done this! The water park was a good size and had some cool slides but like I said before it was all about Excalibur and just the whole awesome vibe here! Overall super cool park I hope to see them get another coaster in the future as that would just make an already cool park that much better!

It's great and all, but seriously, we NEED more roller coasters. One doesn't cut it. The Excalibur was good though.

My all time favorite ride has to be the Astrosphere or the dragons decent and the Excalibur.

See photo of website that I checked today. I even had my wife call them to confirm because it is April 23rd and I wasn't sure if the season started yet. No one answers the phone. They just have a recording saying to check their website for days and hours. So we drove there. The ticket booth had a lighted sign that says, "Open" and listed their hours as Noon - 6PM Monday through Sunday starting April 19th but no one was there and many rides had tarps over them. We walked around looking for someone and finally found a person who worked there. They said they are only open on weekends. My wife explained that she called and no one answers the phone. The person said that we should have checked the website for their hours. She said, "We did and it says you are open." As does the lit up sign at the ticket booth! The person said, "Well all the rides are closed and covered with tarps." Anyway, my granddaughter started crying. She was so disappointed because we had told her all about the rides and bounce house and she had been so excited to go. We couldn't go back on the weekend because she was leaving to go back home to Maine on Friday. This place has gone downhill. This is the second time in the last year that it has been closed when it was supposed to be open and I will not subject my grand kids to this nonsense and disappointment, nor will I give my hard earned money to a company with such poor customer service. Save your money and go someplace where they will treat you right!

I don't know what everyone is complaining about - I thought it was great! The Roar-a-Saurus was a HUGE hit for the older kids, and I was glad they had it, as the 12 year old needed something a bit more thrilling. (Note: That ride was pretty intense!) The Polar Express and Bamboo Chute were big hits for everyone. Yes, sure, things are expensive - but what isn't? I've never been to an amusement park that doesn't try to money grab at every turn. $18 for a photo on a ride? That's crazy, but people paid it! And there's certainly no obligation to buy it. All the rides were open and we didn't have to wait very long. Granted, it was a Tuesday and thunderstorms were predicted for the afternoon (it only rained a bit). The water park area was fantastic and provided a nice change of pace. Others complained about the bathroom cleanliness and being outdated? No idea what they're talking about - we all thought they were adorable and clean. Perhaps we went in different ones. Get your tickets online to save a few bucks. If you're in the area with kids, it's a great way to spend a nice day! And, oh, one more thing about the TimeSaver thing that someone else complained about. Yeah, that was a bit disappointing, but it only happened a few times. Again, the lines were short enough where it didn't really matter.

Our…read morethree grandchildren (twins age 9, and 14 year old) all immensely loved everything (except one was anxious about the roller coaster--so each of us adults took turns sitting out a turn with her. For me, the Polar steel coaster was too small and I didn't have enough leg room so knee hit the seat in front of me, then that padded bar punched me in the gut at the end. But the wooden coaster made up for that! I had much more leg room and the bar that holds you in was much bigger and didn't punch. Whew! I will say that overall the wooden coaster was more fun, though it does jerk you around more side-to-side. (I had really been looking forward to both coasters and the water rides!) The bamboo log type flume water ride was probably my favorite. I wasn't expecting that, but could have done it twice (and I'm 64)! The gentleman working the ride graciously helped me in/out of the "log" as it is moving the whole time and your feet get wet too, so it is tricky getting out. I thanked him a lot! I appreciated that Story Land provided free cubbies at each ride so we could stow eyewear and dry clothes etc. in totes/backpacks we brought along because no way would you take those on the rides. Many people brought a wagon with them and next time, we'll do that. I took a small canvas tote with a dry change of clothes, towel, and water shoes. I bought one drink and kept the cup to refill with water. I bought our whole family lunch and it was about what we spend at a full service restaurant ($150 for 7). All in we had an amazing day and I was exhausted by the end. All three granddaughters had a blast! And that's what counts. The beautiful memories.
