Took my BLS CPR class yesterday. Our instructor, Tom, was hands on, friendly, and made the class…read morevery engaging and fun. I learned more during this class than I thought I would. Tom really put us to work for practicing CPR on the ground. We did several rounds of CPR on dummies, and it made me realize that yes, health care providers and anyone else certified can get exhausted after just a couple of minutes during this process! We learned the proper techniques on how to switch off for 2 person CPR as well. I will be coming back in 2 years and hopefully Tom will still be teaching here. Thanks to this program, I am not more confident to know I can help someone out if life support is needed. They also give you same day certification cards which was really helpful because I have a job interview later today, and can now bring my card to the interview. It's $27 to replace a lost card, (not the centers choice for the fee), but American heart association. Tom gave us a great tip and told us to take a photo of the card or make a photo copy, this way we don't have to pay for another one if it gets lost. Great place, I will be recommending this center to anyone who needs verification. (They also offer recertification classes for a lower fee).

Ok now here's the interesting part the availability. Super limited with it all being within a week of the road test with 2 being on the day of the road test. My son had Eva for the first 2 lessons. I have the school call me stating Eva states my son is speeding through school zones and was going 50mph and has attitude issues with Eva. So I confront my son angry because regardless of the speeding I've taught my son better than to be disrespectful to people he is totally shocked surprised and doesn't know what I'm talking about. I call the school back they said that what they noted after dropping my son. That they will get more details and call me back. Nothing I kept calling back to find out what happened nothing.
