The owner explained very carefully what he could do, which was mount it on an appropriate backing, then gave us a very wide choice of frames (I think he said they have about 2000 to choose from). We picked the painting up today, and it looks better than when we bought it! It is smooth, the frame is perfect, both in construction and by setting off the painting to advantage. The service was timely, and considering what we brought in, and what we left with, the price was quite reasonable. There was even a correct-weight hanger enclosed.
