This is an old-fashioned "Mom & Pop" hardware store where you'll find good old-fashioned service and excellent value. If you have a question about any DIY project, their expertise is top-notch. It's a somewhat smaller store, but it is crammed full of good stuff. They sell quality merchandise. I have never bought anything there that has later broken or that I have not been able to use. They have everything from push brooms to water hoses and all kinds of nails, screws, bolts and little doo-dads, almost anything you might need. It's fun to browse there, too, although you'll probably end up buying something.

From the pullets bin (which are clipped with green tags), we got three "pullets" - one died within 24hours, and we've raised a lot of day old chicks to healthy chickens, so the manager, Jason, who was very nice about the whole thing, got us another one free of charge and she's doing just great. - another turned out to be a rooster, which is very frustrating because it was a green-tagged pullet. - and just overall, the green aluminum tags are difficult to remove especially with smaller breeds like the Ameracauna (I believe I spelled that wrong). The fluff feathers get very matted, and overall the clipped areas look very irritated and removing them usually involves a lot of pain to the chick and some blood as well. I would recommend zipties on their legs instead. I've gotten chickens from other tractor supply places and they don't clip the wing like Atwoods does.

We bought one in expensively there but it started to have trouble upon second use and died on third use. We obtained a refund and saw the good ones there were about 70 dollars. My father suggested Harbor Freight. We found a model there for about 10 dollars. It appears there are a bunch of power tools including circular saws etc. I am not really knowledgeable about the big box improvement stores but in terms of independent retailers for difficult hardware items Harbor Freight and Atwoods is where it is at. For more about Atwoods and the other varied things that they sell see my review there. Harbor Freight has a wide variety of power tools and hardware supplies. My fiancé found what we were looking for at the register. I also found some other things attractive such as a magnesium block w striker designed to aid in making fires. Everything seemed priced to sell quickly. A customer in front of us appeared to be getting a refund with little trouble. All in all a great recommendation from my father and a great help for me and my fiancé. Won't hesitate to return the employees seemed relatively friendly and the prices seemed pretty reasonable.

John came to our home and brought lovely hard bound - grooved timber style flooring samples and we agreed on one. The samples that were presented to me were not the product I saw being used and already 2/3rds installed by noon on Monday, January 25, 2011. I immediately called John indicating that this was not the product we had discussed and that a laminent was exactly what my husband and I did not want. He stated that "people get them mixed up all the time" and that "with dogs in my house this is the product he thinks I should have." I can only say that we are extremely disappointed with the product as it is something we could have picked up ourselves at Lowe's or Sam's and laid over a weekend and at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention that there is a mound at the rear entry door where the floor was floated over the existing tile, and areas of lift throughout the room that I was told by one of your installers would settle once the materials acclimated themselves to my environment. In coming to a professional interior design and installation service I had certainly expected more, but instead have come away from this experience extremely disappointed. We have learned to live with the floor for now and are in the process of trying to decide how to get rid of it and what we should do next. This certainly is not what we intended when we sought your services as we thought we were buying an improvement to our home, but instead we have a daily reminder of what we didn't want.

The worst experience we have ever had! 1st off (this should have been our 1st indication of disappointment), we called to set an appointment and was told they will call us back later in the week. No phone call back after several weeks. We called back again, was told they would schedule something the following week. 2 weeks later, they set up a time/date. We called Italian Granite to set a stainless steel sink we already had but had fallen from the existing granite countertop, so they only had to reset the sink. After they reset it, the left side sink was not aligned properly causing a sort of lip on the edge of the sink so water could leak from that area. We called them back later that same day and the women at the office was so rude and immediately claimed it wasn't their fault. We asked if they could just come out to look at it (knowing if they saw the sink was not aligned, they would know their error) and she finally agreed someone would come back out later in the week. Several weeks later with no call from them or them coming out, we called them back. They finally agreed to come out the same day of the call. The owner of the company happen to come (wish we would have read the other reviews on here about him), once he saw it he called us (this is a rental home) and he cussed us out left and right!! Saying it wasn't his fault, he called us MF'ers, said our house was $hitty and said it was our sink, that it was old and falling apart even though it's a stainless steel sink! We tried to ask for his name but instead he said F*ck You! This company is ridiculous, PLEASE do not use this company! The disrespect from this company owner and his employees is unbelievable!! I spoke to the owner who then claimed "those scratches were there before". I offered to show pictures of the sink before install (I had documented everything in pictures) but he didn't want to see the pictures. He refused to fix the sink or replace it. I told him I'm deducting the value of the sink from the total payment. He claimed that I was trying to scam him. He used multiple personal attacks when talking with me on the phone, which just made me laugh as I was entertained that this is how a business owner would behave. After about 40 minutes on the phone we negotiated to a discount, but wow, what a trip.
