The receptionist forgot our tea and water, but it was okay we completely forgot about it. The room was dimly lit with relaxation music. Then two ladies came in and had us soak our feet in a basin of warm-hot water before they started the treatment. They spoke very little English, but they made our feet felt amazing later! They were pretty good at adding more or less pressure when we told them. It was exactly what we needed. This is a great way to spend time with someone while getting a foot massage. This was the first time I've been to a spa so I wasn't sure what to expect. We arrived 15 mins early to our appointment - we did not have to wait long to get our room. We changed out of our clothes and got underneath the towel till our masseuses knocked and came in to start the massage. There was a language barrier as the masseuses spoke Mandarin and just a bit of English. We had to signal to apply less pressure as they were both applying a lot of pressure in the beginning of the massage. They also asked if we wanted oil for the massage. We had booked a one hour massage and I believe they ended right on time. For an hour I just focused on the music in the background and the gentle massage on my back, neck, legs, arms, and head. The spa was clean and a peaceful environment. Massages were reasonably priced and I was told the tip was split 50/50 between the masseuses. Note these are not RMTs though so they can't be claimed if you're looking to use insurance benefits from work. The spa is centred for massages only, so there are no additional amenities if you are looking for a place to lounge and relax around afterwards. We got our massage and promptly left after paying. I did feel more relaxed after the massage. It's a bit further out from where I am so not sure if I would go out of my way to visit. Would recommend if you're nearby!

The staff are friendly and good at what they do. The owner and staff are all taiwanese which they are known for foot reflexology massage. Operation hour, Monday to Sunday from 10am to 10pm. I opted for the usual combo, 30 min reflexology and 60 minutes shiatsu. Her technique was quite good and she was able to muster some decent pressure which is what I was after. At this point I have to admit that I'm getting a little confused about which one is which as they are all starting to look very similar. To add to the confusion, some of the staff move around so if you find someone you would like to use again, you need to ask for their card and contact. They sometimes work at one spa, and then move to a different one in the area so you need to ask for their availably and not assume anything. As well, their business cards may be from another spa, and not the one you were in. And since their technique and training vary widely, it helps to know what you're in for. The reflexology was done in the massage room, which wasn't quite as good since she skipped the soaking in hot water part, which is good in that there's more time for massage, but bad in that the soaking seems to help relax your feet and feels great! Ask about the soaking when you put in your order as you can choose to have the feet first, or vice versa. And ask if they include soaking in the procedure. Nice spot in the north strip of Chinatown!

She warned me in advance that my back would be sore for a few days, so no surprises. They apply menthol cooling cream as well to help with relaxing your muscles. I was taken into a room where my feet were soaked in an aromatic hot water bath. I felt relaxed from the get-go. My massage therapist was Anna. She was fantastic. She spoke limited English but was able to communicate well enough. She asked what level of massage I wanted, from strong to mild. I went for strong but told her I may ask her to go down if needed. She was excellent and massaged really well, from the knee down. She focused a lot on my lower legs which she explained would help with sore feet. I trust her! My hour flew by and she carried on for an extra few minutes. How awesome is that? I feel thoroughly rejuvenated and can't wait to visit again!
