Extremely disappointing experience -- I would not recommend this company. Our move from Toronto to Florida was a nightmare from start to finish. After picking up our belongings, they added nearly $2,000 to the original estimate and refused to deliver our belongings unless we paid. They claimed we had more boxes than originally stated, even though we told them approximately 60 and actually had fewer. Over $1,000 worth of furniture was damaged, yet they offered only $100. They also damaged our floors, failed to properly wrap/protect many items, and did not assemble our furniture upon delivery as expected. The movers smoked continuously inside the truck, leaving many of our belongings smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, with some items discolored as a result. Their communication was absolutely terrible. We were ignored for approximately two weeks while waiting for our belongings and received little to no meaningful information about when they would arrive. The employees were rude and unprofessional, and our dealings with the owner, Kevin, were particularly frustrating. Instead of taking responsibility, we felt dismissed and ignored. Based on everything we experienced, this felt less like a professional moving company and more like a business designed to take advantage of its customers and find ways to charge them more after they already have possession of their belongings. The entire experience left us feeling that we had been deliberately taken advantage of. Unexpected charges, damaged belongings, smoke contamination, damage to our home, delays, and virtually no communication -- I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before trusting this company with your belongings. read more

My experience with Easy Moving has been extremely negative, negligent, and completely unacceptable. Motorcycle suspension damaged due to improper transport and delays in car delivery by Easy Moving. I hired Easy Moving to transport my belongings from Calgary to Toronto. On February 27, my KTM 450 dirt bike was picked up in perfect condition, with the suspension fully functional clearly documented with photos taken before transport. Upon delivery on March 3, the bike arrived with the suspension completely compressed, locked, and non-functional. It is undeniable that the damage occurred during transport by Easy Moving. The certified mechanic's report confirms: * The left air fork inner cartridge is damaged and must be replaced. * The right fork seal is leaking and must also be replaced. The mechanic explicitly stated that this type of damage occurs only when a motorcycle is transported with excessive strapping and without a fork spacer, causing abnormal internal pressure over time. There is no alternative explanation this damage was directly caused by Easy Moving's mishandling. Evidence includes: * Photos of the bike in perfect condition before transport * Photos after delivery showing severe suspension damage * A detailed professional mechanic report * A video where an Easy Moving employee attempts to move the suspension, and it does not function Despite this overwhelming evidence, Easy Moving refuses to take responsibility. The repair cost exceeds CAD 1,600 a direct financial loss caused by their negligence. The situation with my car is equally unacceptable. I dropped off my vehicle on February 25 with an estimated delivery window of 7-21 days. As of March 25, it still has not been delivered. Easy Moving failed to check my February 4 email containing vehicle ownership documentation. All required information was provided, yet the company failed internally, did not process the transport, and never contacted me to inform me of the issue. Now, in addition to their mistake, they continue to delay delivery without providing any clear resolution. Customer service has been appalling: * Dasha failed to review critical communications. * Kevin was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive over the phone. Every interaction results in more excuses, delays, and no accountability. This situation has a direct impact on my work, as I depend on my vehicle to serve clients in multiple locations. Additionally, my wife Gabriela is pregnant with a hematoma, requiring frequent clinic and hospital visits. This case involves: * Proven material damage * Serious operational failure * Lack of communication * Poor customer service * Unjustified refusal to take responsibility I demand that Easy Moving: 1. Fully reimburse the cost of repairing my KTM 450. 2. Immediately resolve and prioritize the delivery of my car. If this is not resolved promptly, I will pursue all necessary legal actions. I strongly advise any customer facing similar issues to file formal complaints and seek legal recourse, as this conduct is unacceptable. Use extreme caution when considering Easy Moving. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Please - do NOT use these movers! They gave a quote for a move from NJ to Toronto. When they showed up, they were hours late with a truck far too small (and only one mover - 2 more showed up later). At 9:30 PM they concluded the truck was too small, and they would have to come back in the morning with a UHAUL to put everything else in storage. They charged for the UHAUL, the storage, and the time to load and unload the truck. They also charged overage fees for many items. The overages were theoretically based on the number of cubic feet for each item, but nothing was measured and there was no evidence to support the numbers they came up with. Those numbers were also outrageous - think $30 for moving a small storage basket and $100 for a cat toy. They refused to deliver any furniture unless large sums of money were transferred immediately (including $3000 within 30 mins). When the furniture arrived, much of it was badly damaged and when I reached out to ask about reimbursement for the damage, I predictably got no response. These people are criminals and I'm filing a complaint with Toronto police. Avoid these people at all costs - whatever they quote will cost at least 3X as much (we started at $3600 CDN all in, and it became $8900 for the move which didn't include the goods in storage, plus the cost of storage and an additional $1500 USD to move stuff in to storage). read more

It has taken me some time to process the stress of my move that Easy Moving has caused me, after 3 panic attacks on the day of the "scheduled" move, I'm ready to share my story. I booked Easy Moving back in June for my move from NYC to Toronto on August 27th, 2025. They were quick to give me an affordable quote ($4000 less than the average - I should've known this was too good to be true), and I quickly e-transfered them the $700 deposit. A week leading up to the move I have emailed them countless times about when they anticipate on arriving in both NYC and Toronto given that elevators are booked far in advance during this busy moving season. I called the "office" on August 26th (the day before the move) begging them to give me more details and "front desk" told me that I will receive a call back (an empty promise made to me many times prior). During an appointment approximately 2 hours after my inquiry, I received a call from Yuri with a NYC area code. Yuri was a fast talker, so much so, that my lash lady made a comment overhearing the conversation - "he didn't even let you have a word in". Yuri told me to send him photos of my furniture that needed to be moved, commenting on how "beautiful" they are and refusing to give me an exact time frame on his arrival, even though he read the text (EXHIBIT 1). Furthermore, Yuri asked me to buy my own packing supplies which in hindsight I should've known was another red flag. My friends suggested that I get some AirTags for my furniture and clothes to be safe. Later that night on August 26th, at roughly 11pm, I asked Yuri to give me at least an hour heads up. He then voice calls me to tell me that Easy Moving has decided to use another contractor to pick up my stuff and not Yuri. Yuri told me to contact the office and ask them to see what is going on, EXHIBIT 1a shows the text I sent the "office" at 11:11PM on August 26th, which they never responded to given that they were closed until 9am the next morning (important detail to note). The next morning rolls along and I get a call at 7:50am from Vitaly (the new movers Easy Moving hired) indicating that he was 10 minutes away since I booked the elevators LAST MINUTE at 8am. I asked him if he had multiple men with him and he said he has TWO MEN (insinuating 18+ of age). I see Vitaly pull up in a small U-Haul with HIS PRE-TEEN SON (could've been a nephew who knows). In addition to having the gnarliest dirtiest uhaul I've ever seen (I have WHITW FURNITURE), they tell me that they will take my stuff to a "storage unit" before Easy Moving moves it to the final destination. I am FLABBERGASTED at this point and my doorman, shoutout to Ira at 240 e 86th st, even suggested that I tell them to go. I asked Vitaly where my stuff will be stored and he mumbled something that I couldn't hear, he also said that I've been sent the paper work WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. Vitaly then gets on the phone with Daria, I'm assuming the office secretary, and she urges me to start the moving process and will send me the paperwork after 10am when the office opens (remember this important detail). I then decided to let them go because my gut was telling me that this is an awful idea. So I kindly ask Vitaly to leave WITH HIS MINOR. And then I began to receive 16 calls from "the office" back to back to back (see EXHIBIT 2). I noticed how they never leave a paper trail so I decided to send them an email see EXHIBIT 3. Anyways they texted me saying that I will lose my deposit and that rescheduling will result in further charges. I really should've read the reviews on this company before booking them. The other company I booked last minute were appalled at their lack of paperwork. To be RESPECTFUL of this "company" I won't say the other company's name but you can catch my 5 star review on them through my profile. In case Easy Moving decide to take down this review I will post the same one on Yelp. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company has my belongings and will not call me back or answer my emails! BEWARE! I hired them to move me from Toronto to Halifax. I signed the contract and gave them a deposit on Feb 15th, 2025. My contract states I have 5-14 days for delivery time frame. They picked up the belongings from my storage locker on March 5th. Today is March 19th and I have yet even be given a delivery date. I have called and emailed many times only occasionally getting a response asking me to be patient. I 100% do NOT recommend this company for moving. They damaged two walls and left debris on the floor. After reporting (email and text) the damage to Kevin Amir "general manager" I heard nothing back. When I called Kevin's number, someone answered and claimed that Kevin "does not take calls". When I asked about compensation for the damage, the person said a "special person" would be "investigating"..... yep sounds totally bogus. Anyway he assured me I would hear back by Friday..... we shall see! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! UPDATE: the company offered to pay $300 for the damage.... Not nearly enough to cover the cost of the repairs. HOWEVER, they have still yet to send any money! So beware this company is shady and not to be trusted! UPDATE: It has now been over two months, and I have yet to hear a single word from this company. They requested a form to be filled out--which I promptly completed in early December. I followed up again in January, and still, absolute silence. At this point, it's no longer about the money--it's about their blatant disregard for professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. I have undergone multiple cross-continent 40-foot container household moves and never had any problems. This is the worst experience I've had! I need to move my furniture into storage for 1 week for floor renovation. At the same time, I'm shipping my baby grand piano to my son in Saskatoon. I stressed many times that I have a LOT of stuff, collectibles and breakables and requested that the packers pack them for me. I'm prepared for pay for the time and service and reserved for a 2-day move. I planned to have the breakables lightly packed and left in the kitchen where there's no renovation - to save time and material. No one ever came to check out the things. DAY 1, the movers came with NO packing material, no boxes or even paper! They said no one told them! So they just moved some furniture. They demanded e-transfer of payment of the day's service that night. DAY 2, they came with huge Rubbermaid boxes and I questioned if they were ok to leave these boxes in my house for a week. After unsuccessful communication with these non-English speakers, I gave up and let them do whatever. Their truck was too small and cannot fit all my furniture. So they left most of those in the kitchen and took the boxes away. Another demand of immediate payment that night. DELIVERY DAY - they demanded immediate e-transfer of payment early in the morning and virtually threatened that they will not unload unless money received! Even though they have my piano in their hands. I had some problem with my phone and the computer was "packed". But they will not take cash or cheque! If my daughter-in-law was not there to help, I can't imagine what they'd do. No more Rubbermaid boxes were found! They delivered many large-size cardboard boxes (which they charged), not of the highest quality and some seemed used. Obviously they repacked the stuff from the Rubbermaid boxes. On opening the boxes, I found that they've just dumped contents of several desk drawers into one, and glass picture frames were not protected at all! Some things were not found to-date! Some cabinets were just moved with all contents inside. Of course they were badly shuffled around. My white fabric headboard now has black finger prints. The 2 bed bases (with drawers) that made up a king size bed were put together without removing the plastic wrap that went around them top to bottom. I have no way to lift the bases to get the plastic from underneath so now I have pieces of plastic sticking out from under the bed. I would have written this review 6 month's ago if the piano was not in their storage! DELIVERY OF PIANO - only 1 day advanced notice was given for the delivery. Their man drove the truck from Toronto to Saskatoon and apparently they have already left before letting me know, despite my request of an expected delivery date. On arrival, they again insisted on immediate e-transfer of payment before they would deliver. I totally understand that only 3 steps were included in the move and additional steps cost extra. But the movers would not negotiate, insisting that we haven't paid for the extra steps and left the piano just inside the house without the assembling service promised. No answer to our e-mail complaints. The company has different names, one of them is Easy Moving. This Yuri is VERY RUDE and would not talk on the phone but insisted that everything has to be emailed. 47 Days to deliver a 1 bedroom apartment from Edmonton to Toronto Picked up furniture as per contract on April 28, 2022 Contract stated "delivery in 7-14 days" May 12, 2022 - no furniture arrived. I had to email Trans Moving Toronto and over the next month and multiple emails I received responses with delay after delay May 31, 2022 - the boxes arrived first (was told furniture was still in Edmonton and would be delivered soon) June 14, 2022 - furniture delivered but held hostage in driveway until an extra $ 1469.13 was paid. No opportunity to dispute, even items included in the contract as well items delivered May 31, 2022. Disputed with the drivers who said to speak with Yuri Amir. Disputed with Yuri Amir who was very rude and unprofessional before with a pay up resolution or we keep your furniture response. Promised a resolution after the furniture is unloaded but nothing even after multiple emails the only response was "its too late, should have been dealt with the drivers directly". Tried to but got scammed by Yuri Amir. Final observation - Trans Moving Toronto (aka easy-moving.ca) are not capable of moving long distances as evidenced in my 47 days of hell waiting for my furniture and getting scammed additional money. read more

If I could rate them with a negative, I would. They are highly unprofessional, greedy and rude. Firstly, they tell you about a 'flat rate' and send you an invoice with way higher charges only after they've picked your items. They promised 7-10 days as delivery period but left us hanging for over a month without explanation or any good customer service. They kept pushing the dates and when you call for update, they have nothing. The so called manager, Yuri even hangs up the call. The front desk never has any clue about anything. They insisted on payment before unloading. At delivery, only one person came, the driver and he didn't want to bring the items in. He expected us to be the one unloading ourselves after all the stress they put us through (without a single apology) and after paying. He later dropped some items on the roadside. Until I said I was going to call the police, he didn't pick them up. Items came wet, torn and damaged. I wish I could express my displeasure more than this. Please don't ever try to use their services. Save yourself the stress. The few good reviews they got were probably paid for. I filed a report against them with consumer protection and I was made to understand that there have many complaints about them. I contacted them to ship my personal stuff from Calgary, AB to North Bay ON they scheduled my pick up on December-11-2022 but they never show up and didn't even tell me that they are not coming, as i was suppose to leave from Calgary on December-12-2022 I contacted a different company to ship my stuff. I called this company on December-12 to give my $300 deposit back they refused to give my money back because according to them i am the one who is canceling the pick-up. The owners name is Yuri Amir. I also have to cancel all my hotel reservations which were non fundable that costed me another $500. Horrible experience overall please stay away from these thief's. read more

100% DO NOT recommend Trans Moving. If you want a nightmare move, a company that has ZERO care for your belongings? Then book with this company. My items were picked up March 22nd for a move from Toronto to Edmonton. I enquired when my items would be delivered and l was told by (Daria) that it took about 2 weeks to deliver. Once l booked l inquired about the delivery window again and the GM (Yuri) advised delivery would be 1st week of April for my items. It all went downhill from there. The 1st week of April came and went and my items where not delivered and zero communication from the company about delays or anything. I sent a follow up and was advised the items would now be delivered the week of the 10th of April and Yuri noted in his email I would be contacted and notified a day before delivery. Now we're on April 18th and l still haven't heard anything. I sent over an email in the early morning of the 18th and Yuri responds telling me delivery would be done that day (18th) in the afternoon and I would be called with the exact time. Keep in mind this is less than the day notice he had advised l would get let. Even 12 hours notice would have worked, but we went with it. So we prepared for the "afternoon" delivery Yuri had noted in his email. We patiently waited and next thing it's 6pm EST and still no word on the supposed afternoon delivery. At this point we had been waiting and when l called and spoke to Yuri voicing my valid frustrations not only was l told he didn't email me saying the delivery would be done in the afternoon, but now delivery could happen even the next day. Notice how my delivery times kept on changing everytime l inquired...if l had not made any inquires l would have had zero communication from Yuri. Now to make matters worse...l receive a call from Yuri's driver at 9pm EST (7pm in Edmonton) and he's talking about he's now driving from Calgary to Edmonton and will be making a delivery maybe in 3 hours...so after 10pm in Edmonton. The lack of professionalism and communication really sealed it in, a delivery after 10pm at night...with 3 hours notice...insane. we opted not to wait for a late night delivery considering the ever changing delivery times...we weren't about to wait till late in the night for a delivery that likely would not have made it anyway. The next morning when delivery was to be made the driver showed up on his own (no helper) when l booked this service l had inquired and advised that delivery was to a house and all items would need to go to a basement and l was assured with was fine. A team would be doing the pick up and drop off. Not only was it just the driver who showed up, he was not prepared. My family watched the driver offload other clients items (to get to mine) from the truck and dumped them onto the snowy muddy ground. You would the company would have runners Tarps etc to properly protect and care for their clients belongings...no, that was not the case. My couch was received scrapped up and my 6 drawer chest was not only scrapped up it was broken by the driver. No compensation what so ever and my family was also stuck moving items due to the lack of personnel that arrived to offload my items. What was the point of paying for movers and their manual labour if they don't do what they are paid for... This company is very much ripping people off and providing false information to its customers just to get them to book with them. They will mishandle and break your items and not compensate you, and expect you to do manual labour. Not only was my stuff mishandled but my family watched as they mishandled other clients items that were in the delivery truck. Voice any concerns and you will be met with rude responses for their lack of regard of your belongings, lack of communication and professionalism. Do not waste your money booking, save yourself the stress and nightmare. I now have to replace my chest that was damaged by the driver with no compensation. Find a different company!!! read more

I can't emphasize enough to warn everyone in the entire universe not to hire these scandalous swindlers. even if it costs thousand more dollars I still recommend going with the more expensive option. My case with these phonies is currently with the police and consumer protection office of the government of Canada is also involved. Basically they send you workers to take pictures of your items and give you a quote and of course despite the pictures they still don't get the items right. after so many back and forth or getting the items right they ask you to sign the contract to be able to book and will make a new invoice for the all the items taken eventually. 4 hours delay on pickup day which is a problem if you need to book an elevator in a building, and every time we called to check ig they were coming the owner would not let you speak and only says what he wants and hangs up the phone ending every phone call with sorry goodbye. the new invoice is sent 4 days later with an extra $500 because a they want to change the items' names (sofa became a 3 seat sofa and added an extra $250) extra number of boxes than you have given, describing our initial boxes as large instead of medium to raise the price) again lots of back and forth and at this point no one answers emails as they don't want documentation against them. Everyone phone is a repetition of as the contract says you pay then we unload the truck, not willing to give you an explanation why things are renamed and charged triple the price or why extra items that do not exists were added. And this rude owner keeps saying "I repeat again" or "if you read the contract" and it because more and more clear this guy hardly understand a word we say and is extremely manipulative. Then on delivery day they blame you for not being prepared to pick your belongings sooner and it's the customers fault for the delay, 1 weeks later the gas prices are up and they can't deliver, third week is the driver is sick and they can't deliver. After 25 days of the promised delivery date they won't unload the truck unless you pay the fraudulent invoice they made and ask you to discuss the invoice with the driver who Can't speak English. They send one driver without anyone to help him unload the truck and you will pay more if they need more than an hour to unload. The discussion with the driver was mostly based on google translate and him calling his manager to tell him that there are no extra items that were made up in the latest invoice and it it very obvious the owner is telling the driver to inform us that he will explain that all items are correct and named as per the directory (we had google translate on to understand what he was telling the driver in Russian) so finally after many discussions he admits to mistakenly adding boxes and mislabeling a sofa to a 3 seat sofa but will still charge me for an extra box that doesn't exists, and ends the phone call with " I ask my other manager why new invoice is different and credit you back only small box, but you still pay for 7 large medium box" when we only had 6 boxes. Of course.... they never credit us back the small amount of the small boxes that never existed, neither the mislabeled sofa. We lost $~500 purely heinous. read more
