My boyfriend and I have been to this store more than a few times and everyone there has successfully completed what we came there for, to fix our phones. It so happened that this place had an ad posted in craiglist that they buy used cellphones. Before I headed to the place, I emailed them asking if they could give me an estimate as to how much they would give me for my old phone. I'm not asking for much mind you. I got the phone for about 300$ 2 years ago. I was only trying to get about 40$ tops for it. They emailed me back, the reply was: "Just take the phone in and name your price". Now, if you received the same reply, you'd probably think the same way I did - that I would get it for the price I was hoping for. So, I drive 50 miles to this place, feeling good about getting rid of my old phone and getting a decent price off it, when I get to the place, tell them what I was there for and they tell me they can only give me 5-10$ for it, regardless of what phone it was. Naturally, I got so pissed off, showed them the email they replied me with and told them that it would have helped if they included that tiny detail about not buying the phone for over 10$ regardless of what phone it was before I made the trip to their place. I tried to argue but ultimately, I had to leave because these idiots won't buy it at the price I wanted. Anyway, such a horrible experience warrants 0 stars. After a few hours and successful absorption of sun rays, we decided to head back to the car. Bag-check. Towel-check. Car keys-check. Phone-check. Open the door and....*CRACK* F***. Like butter on toast, my phone (still encased in its wallet case) decided to land screen down with the wallet portion flipped all the way open. Right on the super hard gravel. So there I am in Los Angeles, about to embark on another flight tomorrow and I'm phoneless. It still works, but the touch screen is completely cracked and useless. Fast forward 12 hours later and I'm zooming up the I-5 back to the Bay Area. Fast forward a few more and I'm sitting on Caltrain frantically calling shops to see who could fix my phone that day. It took 4 calls before I found a shop that: -was open -could fix my phone the same day -could fix an LG G2 for T-mobile. That last one was most crucial. Other shops turned me away because they didn't have the screen that would fit my phone. 2 hours later, I have a phone that looks brand new and the screen response works perfectly! So come on it, non Iphone or Galaxy users! Price is a bit steep, but I'm assuming it comes from the fact that my phone model isn't in as high demand. Thankfully everything else was working (I could hear my notifications coming through and phone ringing, but couldn't see anything). I was hoping it would be an easy screen replacement so that I wouldn't have to shell out big $$$ for a new phone altogether. I was checking on Yelp the next day for mobile phone repair in the area and found a few. Applemeister had the best reviews, so I started reading through them. Someone mentioned that they have a Groupon, so I bought it, and then realized it's the same price as when you walk in, so at least you're still getting a deal! The other 2 places locally that replace screens were $10 more. They don't open until 10:30am, but if you work/live close by, it's not an issue. I headed up that way and got there a little after 10:30. Robert wasn't there yet, so the guy who works at the souvenir shop (Applemeister is in the back end of the souvenir shop) called him, explained my situation and was able to take my phone and information and told me to come back at 4pm. Around 2pm Robert called me to make sure of the color screen I wanted (since my phone had an after-market white screen on it instead of the standard black - thankfully he had one white one in stock) and said it would be done in about 20-30 minutes. I had a long work day, so couldn't pick it up until 4pm. When I arrived, my phone looked fantastic! Great customer service by Robert, fast repairs, convenient location and priced well. I also bought a tempered glass screen in addition because I'm clumsy and this will hopefully prevent another broken screen! Highly recommend Applemeister if you live in San Francisco and need phone or tablet repair!

I dropped my shattered iPhone off and got to walk Chinatown for an hour! What fun. It's been ages since I've had the chance to take a stroll through CT. Since my phone was busted my husband called me on their business line to speak to me about my pick up time. After the repair, I bought a glass screen cover that Robert happily installed for me. My iPhone works perfect now. Considering how trashed it was, I was surprised it was still repairable.
