Overall this was a decent breakfast. My latte was really good, so no complaints there. My 4th Floor meal was generally good. My biggest complaint is that the bacon wasn't crisped up separately before being mixed with everything else. I don't like soft bacon so the texture really messed with overall dish for me. I tried some of my husband's French toast and that was tasty. When we walked in the sign said to seat yourself. We found a seat but then it seemed like they weren't paying attention to notice new customers coming in. They came over and apologized when they realized we had been there for a bit. We wey te in a hurry and it wasn't an outrageously long time, so we didn't really mind. But I could see others getting snippy about that. Everyone that stopped by our table was super friendly. I'm not sure I'll be back since there are other places I like more in the area. But I wouldn't be opposed to going if someone suggested it. I'd probably just order something different. What a fantastic catering business! We've ordered from Eat and Run in the past and have always loved their packed lunches. The meats are high-quality, the rolls taste homemade, and their salads are absolutely delicious. Plus, the portion sizes are generous! Each boxed lunch includes a sandwich and a drink, along with pasta salad, two cookies, fruit salad, and a bag of chips--such a great value. Today, we had a meeting and asked if they could deliver earlier than originally scheduled. While I understand they may not always be able to accommodate requests like this due to logistics, they arrived within 30 minutes of our call. Food is awful, bathrooms are gross, underage employees are running food to tables, service is poor, and it takes all day.

My husband and I chose Eat and Run to cater our wedding this past June after we had a great experience while at another wedding. Unfortunately, this is a decision we regret. From the beginning Janet reassured us not to worry. The day of the wedding we showed up to our venue to find our florals on the stage, tables not decorated, and moms/grandmothers without corsages. not to mention the shortage of floras that we spent roughly $1000 on. Then we walked to the ceremony site to find wilted florals, drapery that we specifically asked not have placed, and white zip ties holding everything together. Janet was supposed to be at our wedding to help coordinate but never showed up. We were also given 1 bartender for 150 people. The team was late due to breaking down. We didn't have a wedding cake to cut, dessert was melted, we had complaints about the lack of drinks due to not mixing drinks properly. We reached out to Janet and we were given every excuse possible, more than $6000 later. I leave this review to save other brides. I pray another bride never goes through this because our once in a lifetime day, was a once in a lifetime nightmare. read more

They catered a celebration of Life service for my great grandmother and the food looked very unappetizing, I also found it unprofessional how they just dropped the food off and left for my grandmother to set up and put out at her mother's service. They also forgot the appetizers after my grandmother reminded them because she just had a feeling and they still forgot and had to run back and get them. Icing on the cake was the large cake quantity of MOLD in the hot box they had used to transport all the food which was disgusting. read more

Not a pleasant Father's Day experience. Waited over a half hour to be seated. Once seated, had to ask after 20 minutes to take our drink and food order. Sitting here now after 1 hour and 10 minutes with no food. Very understaffed with employees having no defined roles. Restaurant has a child working delivering food and clearing tables which was unexpected. Hard little worker, but seems less than 10. read more

They catered my brothers wedding and showed up at 3pm for a 7:30pm reception dinner. The food was sitting in the sun. Cold food was hot and the hot food was cold. The chicken for the tacos was flavorless, fatty, cold, and unseasoned. The beef was dripping in grease, cold, and unseasoned. The loaded nachos were delivered to the bridal party with a few chips covered in cheese (not loaded at all) the toppings for the tacos were sitting in the sun getting warm and gross uncovered. The sour cream was hot and disgusting from the sun. Nothing "cold" was on ice and nothing "warm" had anything keeping it heated for 4.5 hours while it was out. Which also goes against servsafe. Now onto desserts... they paid extra for cookies, whoopee pies, mini pies, mini custards and they recieved NONE of it. Its been 3 days since the wedding and multiple people are having stomach issues from the food. Janet refuses to take criticism and has blocked everyone from the business page that says anything negative, deletes all negative comments and will post the same 5 screen shots of her friends saying good things, she deleted the wedding post about my brother and his wife, and ruined their wedding and the stomach issues from the food are making their honeymoon less than ideal. Janet is unprofessional, greedy, and shady. She refuses to refund people and will just block them instead of changing her business and the food. She has been reported to BBB. JANET CLEARLY SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR BUSINESS IF THIS MANY PEOPLE HAVE ISSUES WITH IT. LEARN FROM THE CRITICISM!! If I could rate negative stars I would. We contracted with Eat & Run to cater our 40th Wedding Anniversary and guess what no food when we went to pick it up. None. Our party is in two hours away . Oh its some lame excuse and oh we will have it ready and we will even deliver it which we don't usually do. Oh thanks, you forget our party and then lucky us. You big move is delivery. It arrives without all we paid for and the crudite we ordered? Oh it's in gallon zip lock bags. Any utensils? No. Trays to put the food on? No! The fruit platter is also in gallon ziplock bags with partially frozen ruined fruit. I'd bet money they ran to Sam's Club to throw this mess together. Thanks but no thanks for the box of crackers. Classy all the way. NOT! The brownies , another Sam's special. Our "taco" bar , let's just open the boxes of tacos sent , and forget all the topping for that and the potato bar.,. NOT THERE!' The poor driver had to run back and wait for it , they had to prepare what was missing and the poor driver brought it back. Not his fault, I called the owner twice..... no response. Can't say I'm surprised. There is a reason you pay up front. So you are stuck with their poor service with no recourse. Do not EVER use this caterer. This catering business is absolutely atrocious and the owner is nothing but rude. There's an entire group on Facebook dedicated to all the people she has blocked from them leaving bad reviews. Countless reports of pink chicken, food poisoning, unsafe food practices and so on. The owner, Janet, will literally argue with you and come up with any excuse in the world to not give you a refund for sometimes completely wrong menus or not showing up at all. She has ripped off so many people, but the group is now over 1.5k strong and continues to grow by the day with all the weddings and other special one time events ruined. I can't believe she's honestly still in business and the only reason she has a following is because of her mediocre restaurant. The catering is less than par and she's even ripped off people that considered her a friend. Not to mention not paying employees correctly and treating them horrible when they try to get payment and has been know for lying about hours they've worked. During the pandemic she refused to give people refunds or even partial refunds for weddings they had no choice in canceling. Absolutely disgusting behavior all around. 9 times out of 10 you're going to end up with prepackaged food and don't even get me started on the baked goods. I unfortunately had the experience of attending one of the worst weddings food wise. Not only did she show up with the entire wrong menu the cake was so bad and all the food was Luke warm, watery, and flavorless. The cake was a literal joke (first pic) and they didn't even save any because it tasted so bad. The drinks were nothing but a water down dollar store mix with no sugar added. The bride ended up crying, she felt her wedding was ruined. It's really not worth the money or stress just to end up with bs or the wrong food. I have eaten here a few times. The food is very good and the price is reasonable. The atmosphere is nice. I usually just get a glass of water as my beverage, but the last time I ate here I ordered a cup of coffee. I was shocked when I got my bill and they charged $4 for a cup of coffee. And the waitress didn't even offer to warm it up. I had to go over and get her attention so I could get a refill. I had a concession business and I could serve a 12 ounce cup of coffee and it only cost 10 cents. I will eat here again because the food is good and it's reasonable. I will just make sure I don't order coffee agsin. read more

I am extremely disapointed with eat and run! I was treated poorly on more than one occasion and it is very disheartening to have had so many problems especially during these unprecedented times. It took over a month to get the sample cupcakes and when I did get them they were horrible! I tried to keep in constant contact the entire time, especially during the covid 19 pandemic. Unlike all other vendors that have retured our deposits and payments made to them during these uncertain times the owner kept putting me off and it took 3 and a half weeks to get 13% of my deposit! In march I had made a request to take some items out of what we had originally discussed. I was told my deposit would change. I have been trying to get back the deposit for the items that were taken out and the owner said the deposit stays the same even tho in march when I had spoken with her she said the deposit would change because I took items out of the original order! When I brought it up I was met and an attitude and she was very short with me. EVEN AFTER I was told horror stories from multiple people WARNING ME not to use her service because I would get BURNT I brushed it off thinking they were just disgruntled customers but know I see they were right!
