For the past 4 months, I've been unsuccessful in finding this cart and never received a response to any of my inquiries - over the months -trying to clarify their location and hours, which was a bit frustrating (minus one star for this) .... But one fine day, I finally happened to spot their truck and though it was very busy, I decided to hop in line. I ordered buffalo chicken wrap and the Hoisin chicken wrap. The woman taking the orders was very soft-spoken so it was hard to hear her while ordering or for pickup but the line moved a decent pace and I have to say that the food was very good. Everything was fresh, cooked and seasoned well. I really enjoyed the fried onion pancake that came with the Hoisin chicken wrap and felt it was a very nice combo. A little on the sweet side. The buffalo chicken wrap was also very good, and more on the Savory side. Found myself out and about and needing something to eat and decided to give "Eat Chicken Wraps" a try. I had the El Pastor lettuce wrap. Was probably the best quick meal I have had in years in Vancouver It might sound odd, but so often lettuce wraps. Don't give you enough lettuce that they fall apart and you lose the chispness. But the chicken were in 2 perfect little bowls of lettuce. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and el pastor was a delightful take on the traditional version. I was expecting an oily pancake with greasy pieces of chicken but what a lovely surprise to get a very crispy, light and thin green onion pancake filled with nicely spiced and slightly charred smoky chicken pieces. The hoisin and five spice powder had lovely balance and didn't overpower the meal. I just wished it was bigger for $8 as I wanted more. Haven't loved a food truck this much since I was in Portland! Other than the Rice Box and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap (which I think are 8.50), everything is a flat 7.00! The wraps themselves aren't that bad in size either (around 5.5-6 inches I think) and are VERY tasty. Had the Hoisin Chicken Roll and it was delicious. Kind of reminded me of a Taiwanese Beef Roll, albeit with Chicken instead (which itself reminded me of Shawarma pieces). Operators are both very friendly too, which is a bonus. They must be super popular as there was a film crew there today taping their preparation methods and them serving customers. I didn't really know about Eat! Chicken Wraps until I read about them on Yelp. Though I'm sure I walked past it at least a few times, I didn't notice it, and when I did it was for the wrong reasons. Like others here I find their signage to be a turnoff. For that reason I didn't patronize them until I had read a number of glowing reviews. I've had lunch here twice in the last few weeks. Both times I've liked but not loved their Al Pastor wrap. On the first occasion the first few bites were HOLY COW GOOD! But after that, the enthusiasm died down. There's a good mix of flavours and fresh ingredients but it is not spicy at all. They were both tasty if a bit lacking in cilantro and pineapple - two of my favourite things. Presentation is good - extra marks for the wrapping job which ensures it is not messy at all. The ordering process is pretty straightforward. Make your way to the front of the truck, choose from about five different kinds of wraps, a taco or a rice box and pay for your food. They also have beef/veggie hotdogs and fries, though I've never seen anyone order these. They do not take your name with your order, which makes it a bit more challenging to figure out when your food is ready. There's a cute tip-jar dog that eats from his bowl when you leave a tip. The most glaring problem for me is the wait. I made a point not to visit at the peak of their lunch rush. Despite that, on the first visit, I waited about twenty minutes, and on the second about fifteen. That's comparable to a lot of the sit-down restaurants I frequent for weekday lunches. The difference is that at the latter I can relax and unwind, but at the former there's a lot of foot and vehicle traffic, so it's not as calm. The most amusing thing in the area is the lineup at Chipotle across the street which often goes well out their door - not all that entertaining! If you're okay with waiting this long at a food truck - kudos, and know that these wraps are worth the wait. If like me you're dying to get back to work ;)...this may not be the best choice for you. The price is good - especially for a food truck. Most of them in the city charge at a minimum $10 for a plate of food that is not nearly as substantial as these chicken wraps. I often wonder what the value proposition is when the food trucks cost the same or more than a proper restaurant. I thought the whole point was that since they're avoiding the overhead of running an actual restaurant, they would pass on the savings. Not so most of the time, but Eat! Chicken was seasoned well all the way through, lettuce and cabbage were fresh and crunchy and oh man, the roti type wrap was buttery, crispy, delicious! I wouldn't have tried them out if not for Yelp. See this truck in front of the law courts all the time but their cartoony look threw me off. I tried the Hoisin Chicken Wrap. The flavors reminded me of Peking Duck wraps in Shanghainese restaurants, except it's chicken instead of duck, someone's wrapped it up for you, and its wwaaaayyy bigger. It even has that crunchy texture provided by the lettuce and some crispier chunks of chicken. The Chinese pancake used to wrap everything up was perfectly done with a light crisp. Located by the outdoor patio area on Robson Square, they're a bright yellow truck run by a husband/wife duo from China. You're probably thinking (as I did before), Chinese people making wraps? How can that be awesome? When you see how they added their own brilliant Chinese twist to the wrap, you'll understand. I had the Hoisin Chicken Roll ($7) which consists of "crispy chinese pancake, five spice chicken, asian salad, pickled radish, green onions, and hoisin sauce". The brilliance of this wrap is the fact that they use a Chinese pancake as the wrap instead of pita! This changes everything. Not only was it a great idea to use a Chinese pancake (like the kind used in Taiwanese beef onion pancake rolls), theirs was amazingly crispy and not crazy oily. Fantastic pancake, I would just eat it on its own! The hoisin sauce was good and the chicken was very tender. I also had the Kung Pao Chicken Lettuce Wrap (2 for $7). It's got chicken, kungpao sauce, sesame chilli oil, and more on iceberg lettuce. It's got a nice texture to it and is decently spicy. Didn't really wow me, as the chicken on this one was actually a little on a dry side. Eat Chicken Wraps also has a secret item that you have to ask for - the Poutine Al Pastor ($7). It's a poutine with Mexican roasted chicken, pico de galio, guacamole, grilled pineapple, cilantro, lime juice, lettuce, and onions. In other words, a mouthgasm of epic proportions! The fries were good and the toppings were bang on delicious. It's pretty huge as well, so this one is well worth the $7! read more

Food trucks usually aren't exactly cheap, so at $8, it's considerably less expensive than some of their competitors in the area, where you'll usually be looking at $10+. I chose to try a wrap here rather than going to Chipotle today. Had the al pastor chicken wrap and it reminded me of the food trucks in NYC! The wrap was thin and had a nice doughiness to it, like the burritos at Tacofino. The wrap had lettuce, tomatoes, and pineapple in it as well. The sauce tasted like a sriracha mayo and it wasn't overpowering or too spicy. The wrap was a decent size for $9, definitely enough for lunch. Their truck design is very large and in your face which is probably why I've avoided them for so long. But finally on a cold, rainy day I decided to give them a try. Read good reviews of this place so I thought I'd buy a wrap for my Saturday lunch with my mother. The lady who took my order was very friendly and I ended up ordering the Chicken Al Pastor wrap. It took about 10 minutes before we got the wrap (there was only one other person ahead). So why only two stars for this experience? While the wrap, in principle is reasonably priced, there wasn't much in it as far as substance. After a few bites of the wrap, my mother and I both agreed that it was lacking -- there were only a few pieces of chicken so we couldn't really fully grasp its flavour (we looked inside and also found only a few chunks) and we were surprised that guacamole was listed as one of its ingredients as we did not taste it at all. The only thing we tasted in between the flour wrapping was the crunchy lettuce, pineapple, and some sauce. Maybe it was one of their 'off days' and perhaps I'll go back and try one of their other wraps, like the Hoisin Chicken Roll. Everytime I come downtown, I look for this joint. I hate how its a food truck and it closes so early and only opens during specific times. The hoisin chicken wrap is AMAZING. The fried rice with chicken is AMAZING. You have to come here.. Tried the hoisin chicken wrap. Wasn't super huge, but was filling. And comparable to other places that charge you $10 for a larger wrap. It was delicious. Chicken tasted like the type you get from a shwarma place. Only thing is when you pay they don't ask for your name or give you a number. The young cashier (i think she was hispanic) does it all by memory. After waiting 15-20 mins, you're not really sure if she really has it in the right order as I think i may have ordered after a couple that was sitting there thinking the same thing, but we really weren't sure what order we ordered in.
