My husband and I took several classes at Village Birth leading up the birth of our baby, and I found my amazing lactation consultant, Hideko, after taking a very informative breastfeeding class with Yvonne. Hideko was an invaluable resource to me after the baby was born and continued to be for many months afterward. There was no way I would be able to breastfeed as long as I have if it weren't for her. Separately, I worked with prenatal chiropractor Dr. Jenny Stofer as well, who is also part of the Village Birth group now. I had experienced quite a bit of discomfort in my back during my pregnancy and she always made me feel at ease, listened to my concerns, and took care of any issues I had quickly and gently. I always left my sessions with her feeling energized, supported and like my baby had more room in there! It was incredible. Village Birth is made up of such a thoughtful, supportive and kind group of individuals who are talented and passionate about their work. I went on their website and they were offering the first class for free so I signed up. I am so glad that I did. I was 6 weeks postpartum when I attended my first class. I loved it so much that I signed up for the membership. Since then, I have been attending Stroller strides for a minimum of 3 times a week. My baby girl is now almost 5 months. I love that I can get a great workout and have my baby with me at all times and not worry about childcare. This was a huge help! Also, I love being surrounded by wonderful mamas. I feel very supported knowing that I am not alone in this fitness journey. You built this relationship with the community and you get to know and relate with other moms who have similar struggles. Megan and Lorena are amazing instructors and were very welcoming. They really motivate you. I always leave feeling stronger and full of energy. The owner, Carly, is very accommodating and passionate in helping mamas get fit and healthy. They also do playdates on some days after class with some DIY crafts coordinated by Rhiannon. The charge was 200$ for some thing I had already written. They just copy and paste s typical paragraph from other statements and added to my own writing and mailed me exactly hours before the deadline. They told me that if I do not give them the amount of money they wanted, they would put my own written statement on the websites so I would never be able to use my own written personal statement. I asked Ara, who said was editing my personal statement to give me a chance to talk to their supervisor, but he is the owner and the supervisor and the employee and... at the same time. I even tried to talk to Shake, Ara's coworker, but she just yelled at me and did not pay attention to me at all.

Our toddler is behind in speech but on track for everything else. Our current speech therapist is actively angry that we were put through this. Our pediatrician who recommended CFC will no longer recommend them nor will anyone in her practice. Thousands of dollars for nothing but grief.
