A quirky place, but oh what great food! He had a cheeseburger, I had the Attic burger: big burger cooked perfectly, provolone cheese, bacon jam & cream cheese --it was so very good! A side of baked Mac & cheese for me and o-rings for him-- both were excellent! Coke products and sweet tea also were spot on. Homemade chocolate cake for me and coconut cream pie for him- both were also excellent! The place is odd, a big bar, tables and chairs sitting each direction. Good hamburger, called in to-go order and staff was nice and the food was prepared quickly and as ordered.

Came in near closing on a Saturday (~2pm). Not many folks inside and we were told we can sit where we want. There are a lot of tables and "stuff". Even the bathroom had odds and ends you'd typically find in the attic. Food was pretty good. Strawberry pretzel salad was good but not my favorite. The jello topping was a little stiff. Food was a little more $$ than I was expecting but can find something for around $10. Mac n cheese was decent. Potato salad not that great. Fried okra was fat and crunchy. I really liked it. Would recommend both entrees we had, bbq chicken sandwich and chicken wrap We'd come back. read more

Stopped here on our way to Florida from Ohio and it was great. Food was good, decorations were very eclectic and cute. Service was quick and our server was very nice. We were in and out in about 45 minutes which was perfect since we still had a 5 hour drive left. Adorable place and hope I remember to pitstop here again someday. Stumbled upon this little gem while at a teacher workshop nearby. It looks like an antique shop on the outside and you'd pass it if you didn't know it was there. We were greeted when we walked in and told to sit anywhere we would like. The menu has a wide range of items and is reasonably priced. I ordered a build your own burger and onion rings. My friend ordered the patty melt and fries. My other friend ordered the chicken salad plate and strawberry pretzel salad. The food came out quickly and was excellent. We all enjoyed it. Our waitress was great. I loved everything about this place and I look forward to eating here again. read more

AWESOME! Loaded with nic nacs and do dads from the past! Wonderful service from a Lady called Ali. We got there just before closing time and the Chef let us in. Good Adult beverage selections inclusive of wines. I had the Special Attic sandwich with fried green tomatoes and fried okra, plus my sides, it was outstanding! Super clean through out. You really have to go and experience the 'stuff' although you won't go wrong with the food. To much to write about, to quote Nike, "Just Do It!" Charming little downtown area. Recently my wife and I decided to eat at this restaurant in Hartselle, as it was recommended by a friend from church. The interior is something to see with unusual things all around. It cannot be accurately described so you must go there and see for yourself. We had salads as it was early afternoon and we weren't there so much for the food as to see what everyone was talking about inside. The salads were unusual and definitely tasty so I suggest you go there and see for yourself and decide it this will be one of your new places to go in Hartselle to eat. read more

This is absolutely the cutest place to go! It's a unique place filled with the so many cool things to look at. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the friendliest welcome by JD. She let us take out time looking around before figuring out which unique table we wanted to sit at. JD was the sweetest waitress, and really made the experience! -5 absolutely horrible. Server only had us and 2 tables but was struggling with them. Put our menus down and said I'll be right back. Well that took longer than it should have but ok no problem she was nice and apologetic. The owner could have stepped in but didn't. There was a table that came in after us that left way before us.When mom's appetizer came out the owner tried to deliver it to the wrong table and then when she got the table right she just put it down and left without saying a word. She didn't even have a smile on her RBF. Everyone at our table of 4 had something wrong with their dish. Mine was a BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger no Cheese it had to recooked because it had cheese on it and the onion rings were way over cooked and not edible. Hubby's Chicken sandwich was not been through the garden and the bun looked like it was run over by a semi oh mine did to I forgot. Dad's Cheeseburger was not been through the garden either with a run over bun also, his onion rings were also overcooked and not edible and no fies, they came after everyone was done eating. Mom Sampler Platter did not have her egg on it. The server told us the owner would PROBABLY give us a discount, well that was a joke she took off the Chicken sandwich meal and the only thing that got eaten from that was the side salad. Not looking for a free meal but she definitely could have done better than that. When she came over to "apologize" she said that I was making it sound worse than what it was and everyone has bad days. And when a place is busy you should expect to wait longer (45 minutes just for the food). She was acting like it was our fault and she was getting upset with us. After we pay we were talking just before we left and the owner came over and told us to "shut up and drop it" as we were discussing the situation amongst ourselves. As I proceed to confront her about her very poor attitude, she threatened to call the cops as if I do something wrong. She just can't handle the truth about her own restaurant. As proven if you read her feedback to other bad reviews, very defensive. Then a younger heavier guy proceeded to vape in the kitchen yup I said in the kitchen. read more
