This was the only restaurant in town open on Memorial Day. It seems that it may be the only place in town that is open on any Monday. The food was good home cooking made fresh when we ordered. The restaurant was clean and fully decorated in Coca-Cola memorabilia. They had arcade games for the kids. If I had to be really picky, I would say that the drink sizes are pretty small, and they don't serve beer. Other than that there was nothing to fuss about. I will add that this is where the locals said they like to eat. That is usually a good sign. read more

Bowman is a cute, small, and friendly community. Eats N Treats was recommended by several locals, so we went! This is a small, family run business. It was clearly busy, and while it took a while to get our food, it was clear that our food was freshly made. We each ordered bacon cheeseburgers, fries, and onion rings. It was no problem to wait as we explored the rest of the building and the HUGE displays of Coca Cola collectibles. In the back room there is space for kids to play and arcade games. They weren't on when we were there, but I'm sure they get turned on for various town events. There were several signs on the windows that state closures and changes from regular hours. Again, it is a family owned business in a small town so I would expect this type of thing. Our burgers were a bit over cooked and charred, but I will say these were the best we had on our trip from Sioux Falls through the Black Hills. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and the fries were standard. The staff and owner were all super friendly despite the amount of orders. We did have to wait a little bit to order because they all take orders and work in the kitchen. It is a drive in drive in that also takes orders over the phone. There is a huge selection of ice cream with various fillings and milkshakes. I highly recommend making this stop if you find yourself going through Bowman. read more

Well now Folks I have found another Gem of the Family Restaurants!!! Yes on our trip to North Dakota we drove thru Bowman and saw Eats n Treats!!!We stopped in for lunch and Boy Howdy did We enjoy the Atmosphere, Food, Drinks and Shakes!!! Now this is the place that the locals have been enjoying for years and some of them were in the restaurant to tell us all about it to!!! Now if you like traditional Burger Restaurants this is your place. I got the Mushroom Burger with Fries and a Wonderful Homemade Chocolate Shake. Yes Indeed so good and made our Trip that much better. If in town do yourself a Big Favor and stop for a Good Meal. Hey, You can even buy Eggs at a Good Price too!!! I had high hopes. But, it was less than stellar. The French fries had an odd flavor and the cheeseburger was so dry I had to drown in sauce to eat it. Why is it that people have become ok with super high prices and piss poor service? I'm getting close to never eating out again. read more

We stopped in for a chocolate tornado and a sundae. The hot fudge was delicious. I liked the fact that chocolate was available for the tornado. Vanilla is boring and it is what most places use exclusively. The gals behind the counter were very cordial and were focused on their duties. The prices were just right and the place is appointed with coca cola memorabilia which was quite interesting. It fit perfectly into the small town ice cream place and did it better than most we have frequented. read more

So my friends and I got into Bowman after a LONG drive with little to eat. We were starving! Luckily there was a little (and I mean little) cute information station that pointed us to the food in town...Eats N Treats. I am giving this place 2 stars because I feel bad...and the food was decent. I think I'm being generous. First of all there were flies EVERYWHERE in here...like hundreds of them...in the kitchen and in the dining area. The staff that we saw working the restaurant was really young. They appeared high school aged but I cannot be sure. The wait wasn't long but the girls were gabbing away in the back. At least we could watch them cooking so I wasn't worried about them spitting in the food, but they were laughing at us. Like visibly laughing...and talking about us. My friends and I had been really nice...they all laughed out loud when we ordered kid's meals. I didn't understand why, but apparently that was funny. We were pretty uncomfortable watching them talk about us while they made our food (at least the food was fresh!) so when it was ready we took it outside and ate it out there so we didn't have to watch them watch us. The food was fine though...I'm sure it's a local favorite! Anyways, we got this brochure that said Bowman, ND had "darn near 2000 friendly folks [to] welcome you" which may be true but none of them are working at Eats N Treats! UPDATE: I am glad that this other patron had a great experience at this location...but I'm not making any of my review up and will be happy to back it up with dates if necessary. And I can describe at least two of the workers. Maybe it was an off day...and maybe my friends and I are funny looking or something, but it was VERY uncomfortable. read more

We were quite disappointed in the food. We got the 3 piece broasted chicken which the skin was burned black. The very tiny pretzel was swimming in oil and the fries were cold. This was a $18.00 lunch that went in the garbage. read more

We stopped at this little place for lunch on our trip from Denver to Bismark. It is a really cute place with a ton (I mean a tom) of coca-cola vintage merchandise. They even had it in the bathrooms, lol Anyway, we waited for a while at the counter, but finally placed our order and looked at all the coke stuff. It was very inviting. Our food came and it was really good especially after the long drive. We tried to ask several employees about the coca-cola items, but none of them seemed to know much about it. It was a great little stop on our trip. Really wished I would have had a sundae. Heard they were really good. Oh well, maybe some other time. Nice place to stop and have lunch while traveling. well i came into eats n treats after a long trip from oklahoma. its such a tiny town and not many options on where to eat. so i stoped in to get a burger. when i came in the smell of amzing food filled the air and i was greated by wonderful young ladies who where always smiling. it was so clean and not one fly in site. you could eat off the floor. as soon as i got my food i knew it was going to be great. it was the best food i have actualy ever had. it was fresh and wonderful cooks. i had no problem what so ever with anyone there. i recomend everyone to go there at least once because it will be the best food you can ever have. thank you eats n treats. i dont know what that gurl is talking about. read more
