    Fun drink!
    Sarah L.

Stopped by for an adult beverage. Tried some off the bar menu: Ember Of A Rose and Lemon Thyme Late Night. Both were good. Cory was tending bar and was fun to talk to. He made us a fun drink to sample. Wish we would have had more time to sit at the bar...I think Cory would have made some awesome drinks to try!

This was a Great exit to our day spent hiking and driving around in Theodore Roosevelt national Park. We saw many bison in the park. We also enjoyed the prairie dog towns. We started with delicious old fashions. They had a small but acceptable wine selection.

Service was top notch. The food was very good with the exception of my Osso Bucco being overly salty. The Walleye, while it doesn't look that great in my picture, was excellent! Ambiance is outstanding. Even when the restaurant is full, you can easily carry on a conversation with your fellow diners. Word of caution: They don't take reservations, so go early if you are planning to go to the Musical. One of the fun things about Theodore's (and Medora in general), is that they recruit young people from all over the world. So the hostess who seats you may be from Poland, your server from Romania, and the bartender from Bulgaria.

    Lemon Drops. Simply the best!

Best Bar and Drink ever. We were traveling through and happened to go out to have a drink while staying in Medora ND. Donnie, the bartender, is the most professional, crafty and fun bartender we've ever encountered. We have traveled all over the country and have been to many many bars but we had the most pleasant experience with Donnie. He has made us Lemon Drop, Old fashioned, Apple Martini, Orange Cream Martini and all of them are incredible. It's really like a magic. He can make any drink and they are best of the best. They are not like a regular drink you order at other bars. They are really fresh and special. He makes the bar a happy place for everyone. It's like all the strangers at the bar ended up became good friends. He has a way with drinks and people. We came here two days in a row. We stayed there for a long time just because it was such a good time. Thank you, Donnie. We will come back next time we get to the area 100%!

The food is phenomenal, especially their steaks! Jessie our server was absolutely the best, made our dining experience memorable. To bad we won't be back for awhile but when we do come back this will be our destination spot foe a great meal.

We were not very impressed with the food for the price. I had a beef tenderloin that was overcooked and very salty. My husband had a ribeye. It was good but nothing special. Great service but a significant wait time to be seated.

Yarema is an amazing bartender. Drinks were rich and complemented dinner. Me and my husband were visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park all day and were looking for a good steakhouse for dinner. This place exceeded our expectations. From salad to desert we were impressed. We never eat out because we cook well and my husband makes the best drinks. We had Bison Osso Bucco, Pork belly, Lobster soup and it was delicious. We enjoyed the conversation with educated, friendly Yarema and amazing drinks.

It took the hostess/waitress a few minutes to seat us. Unfortunately, she was covering the whole upstairs dining area. My husband and I ordered cocktails. I ordered a mango daiquiri, but had little to no alcohol, but plenty of mango concentrate the color of the drink was not appealing. The appetizer we ordered was the fried pickle, which turned out to be an egg roll shaped dough with a pickle and cheese inside. Not what we were expecting, however, it was favorable. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. The burger was tasty. However, the fries were too thin and overcooked . They charge extra for lettuce, tomato, and onion. My recommendation to management is to include that with the burger and charge a dollar more. My husband had the salmon which he felt could use more sauce, but enjoy his sides. I read a few reviews. I was very surprised on the replies given by management. They were not very nice. Reviews are for you to help your restaurant make better choices so your customers would want to return.

One obstacle was horseflies. Management should seriously consider placing portable fly swatters on each table to avoid their nuisance throughout your meal. The maple glazed salmon was properly cooked while both the rice and mashed potatoes were favorable. However, the salmon did require additional maple glaze. Finally, while the cheeseburger was served a perfect medium-well done as requested, the French Fries were too thin and overcooked.

We also fell in love with their french fries. They were just so good! Crispy on the outside, seasoned perfectly, and light and fluffy on the inside. They also have a ton of dipping sauces, so if you're a dipping sauce fan like I am, try them all! I absolutely loved having my cocktails served up in a giant cowboy boot glass! The food and drinks were great, the waiters were easy going and personable - the service was fast too! The inside of the restaurant is like walking into an old western saloon - They've got saddles and other horse tack hanging up everywhere, and they have wagon wheel style tables and live edge wooden tables too - so cool! I was bummed we got there late and missed the soup. We will try it next time! Beach is VERY lucky to have this place in town. The cafe is also in western wear store and there are vacation rentals on top of the cafe. The building is a completely renovated old hotel. There are two units. A 1BR and a 2BR. They are far better than any hotel room you will find with kitchens and the bigger one has a back porch. On top of all of this, my mother left her credit card at the cafe and LeAnn and Gene went above and beyond what anyone has ever done to track us down and get us the card back. We are deeply appreciative of their kindness and we can never repay them for what they did. They saved the day and prevented us from having to cancel credit cards, etc. This speaks volumes as to the character of the owners and I hope their business is open for a very long time.
