My friends and I decided to spend Memorial Day weekend at the pool altogether. We booked a reservation for a cabana at DayDream earlier in the week. The best part about this spot is that you just have to do a minimum spend. Because it was a holiday weekend, it was a little more than usual, but trust me, when you have 10 people splitting a cabana, it's not that hard haha. To get the to dayclub, you do have to wait in the normal line at the pool to check in so they can give you a wristband so you can get into their dayclub area. Our server was amazing (wish I remembered her name) but she did a great job taking care of us. The pool at first wasn't too crowded but it definitely got a lot more crowded as the day went on. It was also a holiday weekend and I've come here before not on a holiday weekend and it's still a good buzz but not too wild. Our cabana was so nice! I loved it. We also asked for a beer pong table to be brought out and our cocktail waitress brought that out, too. Definitely think we will be coming back here again this summer! Soooo fun!

We had free entry with our hotel stay, so the lady and I went to check it out. Loud, hip-hop and pop music navigated by a local DJ poolside. Booties on duty. Everyone with a drink in their hand. You shouldn't actually swim though cuz that's not like, cool. So, the water does appear still and transparent more than half the time. And really "looks" clean, not cloudy. Here, a little less attitude though and the smaller sized pool is actually not packed with drunken fools and those who justify the higher chlorine content by emptying their bladders. Let me just say this. I wasn't chased out or given the stink eye even with the protruding umbilical hernia I had at the time- and I even have had this kind of discrimination at my gym of all places.. My belly button is all repaired now and looks fabulous so if we stay here again, I can't wait to show off my sexy dad bod one day in the future...!

Even though the building has been around for a while, it's kept in great shape. The ambience is clean, welcoming, and family-friendly, and it really feels like a space for the whole community. The staff has always been amazing--friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, which makes every experience that much better. One of the biggest pluses is the value. They offer so many activities at a really reasonable price, and this is definitely the place to find more discounted programs compared to elsewhere. From fitness classes and pools to kids' programs, you get so much for what you pay. This past weekend was my first time here for a friend's birthday party. One of my friends reserved a cabana and I think it was about $500ish food and beverage credit to reserve, which isn't TOO bad because you spend that quick. We did a few pitchers of mixed drinks which were about $60 each and it goes quick. The guys did a lot of buckets of beer for $50. The cabana area is nice and has plenty of seating, though when I think of cabanas at pools, I think of private, secluded areas with a safe to put your stuff, a TV in there, etc. These are more lounge cabanas, as they aren't private or secluded and you can see what the cabana next to you is doin. They do have daybeds that you can also rent or just regular seating at the bar area or lounge chairs. There also isn't any private restrooms for this pool, so you do have to leave and come back in in order to go to the bathroom. The pool itself was pretty small, so when a lot of people get in there, it gets packed pretty quickly haha but it had a beautiful waterfall! I don't think they heat this thing at all haha. It was COLD even for an over 100 degree day. When the sun went away, I got out cuz it was just a lil too cold for me (I know, call me crazy). I thought it would've gone away but all weekend I woke up to the blaring noises of the highway. That was so rough. 2) Small inconveniences - as where to put my toiletries in the shower, the shower style allowed for water to go everywhere, the sink leaked when the water was shut off, it just seemed not thought out at all and a lot of maintenance issues. 3) The air conditioning was on point when we came in, nice and cool. But the last day it didn't seem to work at all, barely blowing long enough so the room wasn't cooled completely. I was super hot the morning we left. 4) We felt like no one was around. They said we could purchase breakfast however no one was ever around to seat us. It was a complete ghost town. The fountain wasn't even running and a lot of lights were off all the time. Although some of the art was gorgeous and the place obviously has potential - the work should be put in before charging the insane amount to stay. Sadly, I feel cheated and I don't think I'll be coming back.

Located right next to Cowabunga Bay off of Fort Apache Rd., I arrived right before 6am when the pool opened on a Tuesday morning. There were already about six people there waiting for the doors to open, including my pal. Once inside, all of those people scanned themselves in since they were all in possession of passes (you can purchase a 90-day pass or an annual pass at discounted rates). Since this was my first time, I paid the $3 fee for adults 18-54 years old (it's $2 for 3-17 year-olds, and $1 for those 55 and up). If I had read the rates at the desk, I would have realized that it would have only been $1 for me since I qualify for the senior rate now--ugh! Oh well, next time. The current hours for SUMMER LAP swim are: Mon-Thurs : 6am-12pm / 3pm-7pm Friday: 6am-12pm / 1pm-7pm Saturday: 11am-3pm Sunday: Closed FALL LAP swim hours begin on August 7th: Mon-Friday: 6am-12pm / 3pm-7pm Saturday: 11am-3pm Sunday: Closed The facility is very clean and the staff is great. There are several lifeguards on duty. I didn't have to share a lane while I was there, probably because it was so early. The water was just the right temp, too; not too cold. It was the first time our furbabies registered for the event, and first time they ever experienced swimming in a pool!! Fiji and Makana had a pawtastic time!!! It was so fun to watch them frolick unleashed under the sun!! We paid $11 per dog to spend time in the water from 11:30am to 1:00pm for their weight class (40lbs+). We just had to make sure proof of vaccination was good to go. I thought we'd be in and out of the pool within 30 mins, but we ended up staying the entire time. We brought a jug of water, a dog bowl, lawn chairs, and our tennis ball thrower. Once we walked in, there was a table full of bandanas and tennis balls that were complimentary for all puppers! Plenty of lifeguards on duty, too! By 12:30pm, there were at least four pet vendors highlighting their businesses. I ended up with some frozen yogurt cups and apoopie bags for free! Keep an eye out on the City of Henderson Calendar of Events. We would definitely sign up again in a heartbeat!

One of my favorite features was the shallow pool with a sandy bottom, which was perfect for the kids to play in and made the experience even more fun for families. The amenities that it provides include outdoor swimming pools, tennis, events & activities, a dancing room, and more. It also provides the needs of my recreation, which is hiking. The Silver Springs Recreational Center grounds is connected to the Pittman Wash Trail. It is at my favorite location along the Trail where a picturesque landscape of mature trees provide a canopy of shade throughout the year. At this scenic spot, the Silver Springs Recreational Center grounds extend across Pittman Wash to the amphitheater and Pittman Wash Overlook. Here, hikers are able to ascend down a trail onto hiking trails that follow the meandering wash. Oftentimes on my Pittman Wash Trail, I have turned onto the short walking path between the swimming pools and tennis courts then crossed Silver Springs Parkway into Silver Springs Park across the street. In reality I have been here more than six times. Walking through Silver Springs Park, which I would count as a recreation center amenity has extended my time in the Henderson Great Outdoors. From my visits to the Silver Springs Recreational Center, I discovered that the restrooms are the cleanest restrooms along the Pittman Wash Trail. I am impressed by the high standards of cleanliness in the restroom and throughout the facility. If only Yelp Tips was still around I would of posted this. Recently, after hiking along the Pittman Wash, I found out that they have vending machines. This was very beneficial when I developed a deep thirst on the hike. The $3 bottle of Coke was a lifesaver. The reality is that there is a long distance from the beginning of the Pittman Wash Trail in Arroyo Grande Park to Pecos Road without proximity to cold beverages. Again, I will say "If only Yelp Tips was still around." Before voting on this review, let me bring up "voting." I have early voted here twice during the past two President Elections. My observation is that the Election aspect was managed well, where finding a parking spot could be a challenge. The parking lot here is relatively small to accommodate Election voting and events. I have seen it fill up to the point where people park across the street in the Silver Springs Park parking lot. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.
