I made an appointment for them to come and give an estimate for a very big job. They said the…read moreappointment window for the estimate was 2 hours wide and I'd receive a call 20 minutes before they came. The appointment was made. 2 hours before the start of the appointment window I got a call saying since they were in the area they'd like to come by in 5 minutes. I was 45 minutes away but I said I could leave what I was doing and go there. Then they asked for clarification as to whether this was for an estimate or whether they were doing the actual job this day. I said an estimate. I thought it was strange that they didn't know since all details were discussed when I made the appointment. The man on the phone then said he'd ask his boss if he should go to his other job first or meet me in 45 minutes. He said he'd call me back or just keep the original appointment time. I didn't hear back. I left what I was doing, drove 45 minutes. And I waited all through that time and through the appointment window. At the end of that I still had no call and they never showed up. No call to say sorry we're running late or sorry we have to cancel or reschedule or anything. 35 minutes after the window I received a text saying since I couldn't keep the appointment (!!!!!) I could text photos of the job I needed done. I replied that I was there for the appointment window, just not when they wanted me there 2 hours early with 5 minutes notice (being 45 minutes away). They texted back that they wanted to come 2 hours early to "over cede my expectations". No, they'd said they were close by. This was about their needs, not mine. I explained that I needed professionalism for the job and that they didn't make a good first impression. To which they responded they'd give me a 10% discount if I would still do business with them. They did apologize but that was really all they did right. There are other options out there. Nobody needs to go through all this, especially with a very big job. Would not recommend at all.
