First float spa experience was a success! I went for a 30 min chair massage session and then to the float tank. The chair massage is better than any chair massage I've ever had and measures your body prior to giving the massage. I really like how it squeezed my arms, hands, and legs. The float spa was spacious and the perfect temperature. It felt like I was suspended in a giant bowl of warm jello. The only thing that would have made it better was to have my own music playing. Anyways, I highly recommend the massage then float combo. I'd like to add on the ice bath next time!

If you're like me, you're probably skeptical of certain new experiences, especially ones that might be a bit off the traditional routes. I had taken a bit of a gamble and purchased a group of services for my wife for Mother's Day--she loved it. So much so that she bought me a package for Father's Day. Scheduling was easy and walking in, you immediately get yoga studio and spa vibes. They have all kinds of fun heath and mystical elements for sale in the lobby like crystals, teas, and the like. Shoes off when you go in--I dig that. Tea, water, and music bowls available in the lounge area. Great downbeat chill music, too. First up was a chair massage. I don't usually think much of these things but these ones were really luxurious. After that, I got a wonderful introduction from my guide, Tara, to the otherworldly experience that is a float. After a quick shower right in the private room, stepping into a thousand pounds of salt felt strange. I challenged myself and turned off the light for the full sensory deprivation experience. It took a while to get past the oddness and let my mind wander, but then it was very much an other-dimension and out-of-body kind of experience. Music brings takes you in and brings you back to reality. Next, I was taken into a blue room with a timer and a tub--the cold plunge. After getting amped up with some breathing exercises, I hovered over until the top of the minute and jumped in. Holy wow...I made it halfway through the 3 minute max time. Felt like death but also life. Next was a half hour in the sauna with halo therapy and chromotherapy (salt and lights). After a good sweat, I got showered and checked out. If you've never tried something like this before, definitely check it out. I'm going back--and turning my phone off...again. Amazing.

This establishment is so calm and welcoming. And my significant other came here after purchasing a 60-minute two-person sauna. It had been so cold, and we needed a pick-me-up to warm our bones. This was so relaxing; we felt like we detoxed and shed some unwanted toxins in our bodies. I highly recommend it, and we will be looking to book other services that are provided.

OMG!!! Pure peace and tranquility. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was zen! It's super clean and inviting. I did the float, which was everything I hoped it would be. I was able to center my mind and even fell asleep, I was so relaxed. The massage chair was amazing. The sauna therapy was cozy and you get to pick which lighting you utilize. I would suggest they have some plus sized robes, but other than that, I had zero complaints.

Ebb and Float is a Columbus GEM. Getting in Infrared Sauna sessions along w/ the Cold Plunge completely changed my lifestyle and mindset. The community is fantastic and the energy of the space is unlike anywhere. 10/10 recommend!

the place was fantastic. clean, helpful and a lovely place to relax and recharge. Anyone looking to sauna or float I highly recommend this place.

    Love the plants! Relaxing environment!

Come here to let the world melt away. I wish it wasn't as expensive so we could go more frequently. I have been to Ebb and Float twice now. Before I went, I researched this place both on Yelp and on Google. The first time we went, we were helped by Nicole. She gave us our orientation and was super calm, sweet and patient. I chose a cabin for my first float. It was a good choice because it includes me, but also didn't make me feel claustrophobic. I am plus size and I had plenty of room. I asked if the music was able to stay on during the float, and it was. The music being on during my float helped me to relax. The only negative aspect of my first float was that there was hair floating in the cabin with me, and it wasn't mine. My husband and I both enjoyed our first float experience so we visited a second time. We visited on a Monday. The second occasion we felt more "rushed." Following checking out, we realized we were over charged by $40 dollars. My husband went back in to have it rectified. The female working refunded what she thought was the correct refund, but had only refunded $20, still leaving us over charged by $20. We would like to visit again, but we would like to try the saunas. The saunas are always so booked up. A third sauna might help alleviate the back up. My advice to anyone new is to: -Make sure you wear loose clothing because you'll be damp upon re-dressing and it's hard to get dressed when the clothing is sticking to you -Come early to your appointment -Ask for 2 bath towels. They only provide one. The shower gets the floor wet and it's not comfortable when your dry clothing touches the wet floor when getting dressed. -Wear easy to slide on shoes -Definitely get a massage before you float -Ask for the ability to change the settings on the massage chair so you can get the intensity that you need

Great experience. People are nice and welcoming. While the cold plunge takes some will to get in, it really does help.

I never heard of this but went for the ride, no expectations. Making an appointment was easy. I followed the instructions and texted the number for appointment time to schedule. It was easy peasy and I had to fill out a consent form that was sent to my email. Since this was our first time, we had to get there 30 mns. early to watch a video and get a tour. Upon entering the place, we found comfortable chairs and a giant waterfall. The place was so welcoming, smelled so good, and had a serene atmosphere. We waited a few minutes and the manager came out to sign us in. She gave us flip flops to use while we were there and showed us first to the relaxing room we will come out to when we were done. We will get complimentary tea, cucumber lemon waters, and 15 mns. of oxygen bar. We were then led to a dark room to watch our instruction video. It was a short and informal video. The leather chaise were so comfortable. After the video, we were finally led to our pod suites and given more instructions and advices. Then it was go time. I locked my door, put the ear plugs in, took a shower and entered my pod naked. The pod was clean and warm. I put my floating head piece on and assumed my position with both hands over my head and feet slightly parted. I relaxed my shoulders and started the breathing technique to slow down my heart rate and closed my eyes. The soothing music and jets would end soon, I manually turned the lights off and tried to relax and think of happy thoughts. It was pitch black and so quiet I heard my heart beat and my breathing. My mind got very creative and I thought of positive things but the thought of not being able to breathe kept creeping in. I'm not sure if it was claustrophobia or normal but the thought of suffocating kept coming back. I would take deep breaths through my mouth a few times and try to change my thoughts. It did relax me 1000%. It was so relaxing once I didn't feel like I was in a coffin, I may have dozed off. The hour went by fast and the lights and sound came back on. I did not want to leave. The float experience is like no other. It's like you are floating in space. I felt so spaced out and relaxed as if I just got a full body massage. There are so many benefits of float tanks: lowers blood pressure, better sleep, gets rid of stress, promotes endorphin production, pain relief, mental clarity, creativity, etc... I signed up for the monthly membership and look forward to my next float. I recommend it to everyone!!! It's sooo good and good for you. Self care is important. I got out and showered again and went to relax in the oxygen room. I sipped on a delicious cranberry orange tea and tried the Bliss oxygen flavor. It was the most refreshing experience.

For over ten years St. Therese's Shrine Retreat Center has hosted our parishioners on an 'Annual Autumn Women's Retreat.' Many of our diocese parishes utilize this perfectly designed space and beautiful grounds for their retreats also. Practically every weekend of each year St. Therese is booked in advance for the following year's retreats. They have the most beautiful chapel where our priest says Mass with us. We have also praised the Lord here with Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation services, group rosaries and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Of course, it is always open for any and all retreatants' private prayer. These accommodations are thoughtfully set up for our women's basic needs. Each lady has a small room with a comfortable bed, a desk and a sink for her own privacy. Each section has a common bathroom and shower facility. All our meals are cooked in the retreat centers own kitchen by wonderful people who greet us with smiles as we return each year. The food is always fresh, homecooked, healthy balanced and delicious meals. We all eat as a group in their spacious dining room served by professional, patient and friendly staff. Our presenters give their talks in a large, centrally located conference room. In the evening this same room is a common gathering space for the women to talk and plant seeds of friendship. Everything about St Therese Shrine Retreat Center is about welcoming guests into a manor of peace, a vicarage of holiness, a place to rest. As a church, as people who love Jesus Christ and want to share our faith and do the Lord's Will to evangelize, need this retreat center. It's use awakens faith, renews relationships with the Lord and allows the Word of God to be taught to open hearted adults. People are searching for that 'special something' that is missing within them We know that "special something" IS Jesus Christ. Please reconsider closing this wonderful, holy house that is filled with the Holy Spirit. St. Therese Shrine Retreat Center is a 'precious jewel' in our diocese. How could this holy haven ever be considered more trouble than it is worth? Closing this facility would deny this sanctuary to thousands of people. We would no longer have affordable opportunities for weekend retreats. We have nowhere else in the diocese to spend time from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon as our retreat team has planned and executed in this most hallow and sacred 'St. Therese Shrine' Retreat Center, these last 10+ years! If the problem is upkeep and maintenance, and none of the Bishop's Annual Appeal monies ever reach this most holy place, then ask the parishes to have fund raisers to donate towards that maintenance and upkeep. If there are different reasons, unbeknownst to us, God's children, (who Jesus teaches are His Church), then those reasons, whatever they are, cannot be more important than the diocese retaining this property. St. Therese Shrine and Retreat Center is a precious jewel, a gift from the Lord, which He uses to bring people closer to Himself. Please, do not pretend this is just another property that no one will miss. This entire diocese of parishioners would mourn it's closing. Even more importantly, the good Lord will mourn for all His beautiful children who will never experience the true 'Love of God' that lives within these walls and is poured out on all who enter here, with an open and sincere heart. Please reconsider, pray and listen for God's response. Pray. Listen for God. Pray, Listen. Please, Listen. May the Lord's Will Be Done! Amen!
