January 1, 2022: This is total neighborhood pub. It was busy with locals for sure. The service was kinda slow but the food was awesome. It was a salad (that was an extra cost to the meal) and a pork schnitzel meal with potato's. The schnitzel was GIANT & very tasty. It came with a green herb sauce & a cream cheese style for the schnitzel. What was cool is our Serbian server laid 4 shots of schnapps on us for free. If you're looking for authentic German...go here!

Side Salad....light salad topped with delicious dressing.

This restaurant was recommended by our Tour Guide, Eva. No better recommendation than from a local....this food was absolutely incredible!! Sorry for the pictures but we dug into the food!! We could not finish it all. You can probably share a schnitzel. My wife had a vegetarian 4 halve eggs with green sauce and boiled potatoes. Again, a spectacular dish and perfectly cooked potatoes!!! LOVED THIS RESTAURANT. Not to mention, our friend Marlon had no complaints at all--this is a first!!

We stopped by this evening for dinner. We were looking for authentic German food and we found it! Everything is made in the restaurant. Great food, excellent service, promptly served. Our party of four started with the sampler appetizer. Entrees included smoked sausage, schnitzel salad, rump roast, and meat ball. All hearty servings. To finish it off, we had two orders of the Apple rings with vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed our dinner very much. I'd highly recommend this place. Friendly and cozy. Try the Apple wine. Bring cash as no credit is offered and make a reservation. (A line was forming when we left.)

I feel like this restaurant serves the food of my family from the past. Comfort food filled with love. We ordered the Schnitzel and an appetizer that included traditional Handkase cheese(which was amazing here). Both dishes are worthy of being ordered. Watching other people in the restaurant I could see everyone was pleas d with their food. Loved seeing the interaction with what must have been locals that come here a lot.

Big juicy sausage

Both the Potato Sausage and vibe were on point! Very rowdy on a Friday night but was a great authentic German experience. The homemade apple wine was also awesome. Will be back!!

the transgender host at the door was impatient and kept yelling at us for daring to ask if there're any seats available.

The Apple wine is a must-have, and their unique steak butter was delicious.

Nice ambience and staff all speak English and are good at suggesting dishes to try! Beware portions are large - even by American standards!! My partner and I got 2 apps and a main to share and could not finish. We got the hand cheese music(?), beef sausage salad and a mushroom schnitzel. The schnitzel was by far the star of the show (as we should have expected)! The cheese is famous so we had to try it but sheep's cheese is a bit too strong for me and it had a harder texture than I prefer. My partner liked it though so I'd recommend giving it a shot if you're adventurous!! We also got their homemade lemonade which was a fizzy raspberry lemonade. Pretty good as well but wish I had tried one of their ciders!

They're trying to stick to the monastery beer vibe but it doesn't hit the mark in that regard. The old place was cozy and old and felt authentic, this place is new, loud and generic. Maybe it's not so bad and I'm sore because I miss the old place but it just doesn't feel the same. Service was good, food was good, beer cold but it still feels like every other place out there. Probably won't be back, unfortunately. If you like well lit, upscale, generic restaurants try this one out. The food is good but the ambience is off.

Opening at 5pm daily, the Biergarten entirely spoken for until 01h00 on the first Saturday of July, it was as a party of three that the heavily wooden interior was occupied while waitresses and kitchen worked diligently alongside a Bartender who must've poured 200 drinks over the course of an hour. Named after original proprietors Rosa Schreiber and her daughter Teni Heyne, their Sausage recipes still comprising roughly half of the Gaststätte menu, it was with sweet and sour Apple Wine from Rothenbücher in hand that "Cheers!" preceded first bites of Liver Dumpling Soup teaming with Salt and Scallions. Entirely regional dishes, none perhaps moreso than 'Handkas Mit Musik" with pungent Cheese bathed in Onion Vinaigrette and Carraway Seeds, it was alongside Rye Bread that bites were taken prior to Potato Sausage, boiled Spuds and herbaceous Quark. Losing a Frankfurter to translation, though there was no lack of Food thanks to generous portions, dinner culminated in golden Wienerschnitzel atop Fried Potatoes plus a Ramekin of Frankfurt's signature Green Sauce.

I found it to be very cozy and inviting even though we were obviously not locals. English menus available and helpful servers. The food was outstanding, and I'm kicking myself for not taking pictures to post. I ordered the salted pork, grilled. Came with Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Was outstanding! Partner had what translates to potato sausage, also with potatoes and sauerkraut. Might sound simple but it was authentic and delicious. Oh, beer is cold and plentiful too. Enjoy!

They have non-alcoholic apfelwein! Those who do not imbibe need not miss out. We dined inside as this was late October and it was too cool to sit outside. The interior is warm woods with communal tables. Make new friends and enjoy a good meal. We the pork shank and sausages. Really good. Loved the atmosphere. The staff were great. Not everyone speaks English. If you let them know you don't speak German, they will set you up with one of their English speaking staff. Get the apple strudel. The creme anglais that comes with it really makes the dish. Head to the restroom to see just how big the restaurant is. One room has a tree growing through the ceiling!
