Thank you Ebert Plumbing for replacing our leaking water heater! At first he was hopeful it could just be fixed, but he came out on Christmas Eve to give us the bad news: the crappy Ace Hardware brand water heater the previous owner installed in 2011 was shot. Electric water heaters last longer than gas, but this one was toast. We picked up a new one ourselves and he came out this morning to swap it out with a little extra effort needed to line it all up, but we have nice hot water and he replaced a wax seal on one of our toilets that had been temperamental before he left. I was getting ready to water the front of my yard when the whole pipe broke off!! Water spraying everywhere so I had to turn off the main valve which meant I had no water inside my home! I called Matt around 8am and he told me he would be out within the hour which he arrived right at 9am. I showed him the damage and we called my husband so he could speak fo him above what he wanted done. The original pipe was janky and leaking so my husband wanted a new pipe with all the trimmings.....Matt gave an estimate after he went digging and found that there was a broken pipe underground and he had some of the parts in his van but had to pick up a fitting or two close by.......the repair took around 2-3 hours and after $440 we had a brand new pipe and in great working order. I should have taken a before pic but it was just broke pieces but here's the new pipe....with all the trimmings. Thanks Matt for coming out so quickly and fixing our plumbing issues. Matt came highly recommended from a friend. He was patient, and understood my non-plumbing language. I wanted to replace our hot water heater before it started leaking (you know you want to replace it before it is 20 years old) and I wanted to convert from gas to electric. On Matt's suggestion, I saved money by getting the electric done before Matt came to replace the water heater. The day Matt arrived, his truck was immaculate and he had everything he needed. Always stressful when you have a plumbing problem! Matt responded to my VM within 10 minutes and then showed up about 20 minutes later. He explained everything and showed me what was going on. Sewage pump was severely clogged, Matt found the issue and unclogged the obstruction without any unnecessary work or charges. We felt very comfortable with his skill level and integrity. Wow, this guy is a magician, not a plumber, seriously! Matt is the talented magician who made my life so much easier! I got a portable dishwasher and he was able to completely replumb it so that I could use it like a built in dishwasher, saving me the hassle of moving it over to the sink and attaching it there. A real miracle! It's on wheels so I can still move it for cleaning but he set it up so that it drains into a drain that he installed in the floor that is connected to the rest of the kitchen plumbing and voila'.....good to go! He also replaced my kitchen faucet and quickly fixed a leak under my bathroom sink.
