Working with Ebrada financial has been nothing but a pain. They did my taxes in 2021 and forgot to file my Limited Liability Company Return of Income form 568. For a year in 2025, the state of California was breathing down my neck for it. I emailed Ebrada financial 10 times to help me fix it. I sent them the demand letter I got. They didn't reply for months at a time and when they did reply it was unhelpful. They were zero help, and I mean zero. I would never ever work with them again. I had to hire a new firm and pay them $100 to make a new form 568 and then go twice to the tax building in Mission Valley in June 2026 to fix this issue wasting hours of my time because these people chose not to do their job correctly the first time. I gave them every opportunity to help me fix this before writing this bad review which they deserve. read more

Yes, overall my experience with Ley and Ebrada Financial only rates 1 star. Initially she helped me file back taxes for my mother's trust account, as well as my own for that year. (I was recently divorced and hadn't handled my own taxes for 40 years). She said all the right things, but I'm only now finding out that SHE DIDN'T PAY MY TAXES as instructed!!!! It may also be true that she didn't even FILE my taxes! Going back through e mails, I have 'copies' of filings that are completely blank - ?? She knew that I was out of my depth and, while I don't think she intentionally scammed me, the result was the same: returns not filed, taxes not paid. Again, I am only now finding out the extent of the mess, as I have started to receive letters from the IRS about all 3 of the years that Ley did my taxes. Throughout our working relationship, I waited for long periods of time to get responses to my calls and e mails. Yes, there's a health problem (apparently?) Even when I said a request was urgent, I got no response. In person she is cheerful and appears to be very knowledgeable and helpful. In practice, nothing actually got done. read more

Recently Found out my 2020 taxes were filed incorrectly after hiring Ley to do my 2021 taxes(unfortunately did not know my previous year was filed incorrectly before hiring for 2021 year) . I hired them to create an LLC for my business. Ever since I paid I have been waiting days for replies and updates. Most of which now come from the assistant and not Ley the lady hired to do the job. Continued to tell her I never received a file and still am being ignored on this regard saying they have resent it but I sent a screenshot showing it was no where in my emails. I am now having to file my 2021 taxes after the deadline. Multiple bad reviews on Yelp and google for their work this year.. what a shame. Don't even know if my LLC got sent in. Update- I have downgraded my glowing review to 1 star. My S Corp returns for 2018 were just filed 3/2022 despite paying her to do it on time in 2019. I was only Informed by the FTB it was done today- not Ebrada! I learned 2019 and 2020 100S were missing and she failed to provide submission numbers- also paid her in 2020 and 2021 to process on my behalf. There was no record of her calling her tax processor or the FTB as she promised she would. I had to call both parties because she ghosted me.She failed to add my Corporate Number and FEIN to my 100S documents or send me copies of signed 100S forms with my virtual signature or hers. Mistakes happen but totally ghosting a client who paid you for a service is wildly unprofessional. If you have an S Corp, do your research before hiring them! read more

This review is based off of a phone conversation between myself and Ley. I left a voicemail and she returned it within two days. She properly introduced herself and asked what I was looking for. I told her some guidance, since this is my first time reaching out to a CPA for tax purposes. Right then and there, she took 30 minutes out of her busy day to answer as many questions as possible. Did not even try to charge me but gave some general advice because she knew how confused I was by what I was saying. I regret to say that my experience with Ebrada Financial was extremely disappointing. After using them to file our tax returns, we paid for a separate mid-year meeting last year to discuss all possible tax implications of a change in my partner's employment. Despite their promise of expert advice, and our following their guidance to the letter, the professional counsel they gave was inaccurate and led to complications with our taxes and significant taxes owed this year. Moreover, we have been attempting to seek clarification and/or resolution with them for more than two months. They have been only periodically responsive and have wholly failed to address our concerns or answer specific questions. Ebrada did my 2019 return with errors (for example they failed to include both spouses' health insurance so it didn't match what CoveredCA had on file and the return was kicked back as a result). I had to hire a different accountant and pay him more to file an amended return. Ebrada did not take responsibility for what was clearly their mistake and did not refund fees paid. read more

It saddens me to write this review as my expectations were within reason since I was referred to this accounting group through a fb group. All the one star reviews on here are accurate. I just wish I had read them before hiring Ley to conduct my IRS filings for my LLC. I received notice from the IRS that my paperwork was not accepted due to "digital signatures." After numerous attempts to reach out to Ley for copies of my forms so that I can resubmit their mistakes, I was ghosted. They take approx. 3-5 days to return messages/calls. When it comes to taxes and/or anything to do with IRS, I would hope that your accountant would return msgs/calls within a reasonable timeframe as many times, the reason for the correspondence is urgent. I paid $600 for this "service" and to be ghosted is unprofessional. And this was a discounted rate. It is unbelievable that this business would have the audacity to charge such outrageous fees for subpar work and unprofessionalism. Please rethink your choice to use their services. read more

I would give zero stars if I could!! TOTAL FRAUD!! We found out that she was charging us for months that there was no work even done, we looked into our Accountant Logs on QBO & saw she did no work for two months out of the few months we had her, but she still charged us over $800 for those two months even though no bookkeeping work or accounting work was done & we showed her the proof. Thank god I looked, we asked her for a refund, she hasn't given it to us even though we showed her all the proof!! She has not given us any type of refund or reached out to talk to us. She hasn't even acknowledged us or apologized for the fraud she committed to us!! Don't get me started on the contractual obligations that she failed to fulfill!! You guys I would double check your accounting logs in QBO. & make sure she is doing the work as promised, because she wasn't doing it with us but was still charging us!! ACCOUNTANT FRAUD!! We have so much financial damage due to her mismanagement of our companies finances and she has not even apologized nor even responded to our emails & not even acknowledged our proof of her financial mismanagement & proof that's she did not do work in those two months!! She also did not give us Financial Statements, Quarterly Calls, Analysis of our companies finances, She was more than a few months late on the S-Corp she promised to get set up for us & to make it worse she lied about it & claimed we didn't sign it, we have the time stamp & date & confirmation of our signatures & a confirmation of it getting emailed to her from Adobe sign, found out she created a whole new form that was not the original and claimed we didn't sign it!! What a fraud...thank god for electronic paper trails showing our signature & that she received it. It's not our fault she didn't turn it in, but she tried to blame it on us!! Fraud!! What a crock she was always claiming she is too tired and doesn't sleep etc, it's not an excuse for ruining our companies finances & not giving us the financial forecasts & analysis that an accountant was supposed to! She was not even putting money in our business checking & savings as was like "oh you wanted me to do that??" Wtf uggghhh now it's like a nightmare & we gotta pick up the pieces, now we gotta rush to get an S-Corp because she didn't even do that correct & not on time!! be wary of Ebrada Accounting Group. Ley & her team are excellent at what they do. They have prepared our taxes for us for the past few years and our experience has been nothing but wonderful. They are efficient, extremely helpful, and very patient in answering any and all questions throughout the tax preparation process. Ms. Ebrada and her helpful assistant are extremely friendly, competent, accommodating and quite timely. Their customer service is refreshing actually, AND they didn't mind me gobbling up most of tha sweets in tha candy bowl! Upon my arrival, I was kindly greeted at tha door and offered a cool bottle of water and a seat. We chatted about how I heard about tha business and it was actually by way of a referral, which I'm so glad I actually followed up on! Originally Ms. Ebrada shared with me that her father was tha owner and operator of this family business for over 20 years and he taught her exactly how to run it prior to his passing on. Good thing he included her because she is really quite tha professional and clearly great at what she does! I'm so happy I was referred to her. My search for a new tax professional was official over upon doing business with Ms. Ebrada. AND, I actually, I had to run back home really quickly and find a document that I had forgotten to bring with me and they were SO kind and accommodating, despite tha fact that it took a total of 15-20 minutes for me to return! Luckily for me, I don't live terribly far from this business! All in all, I will be doing business with this company again and again, due to how comfortable I was made to feel, their competence, strong ethics, competitive prices and ease and willingness to explain things and answer all my questions!
