I 100% recommend EC Petcare for all cat sitting services. We have been clients since 2023 and our sitters are always cheerful, extra kind and thoughtful and often go above and beyond. In January 2024, we were stuck in an airport because of the ice storm and our sitter braved the icy roads to come feed our kitties and make sure our pipes weren't freezing. You best believe we tipped her 100% on that visit! Part of their service includes photos or videos from every visit and they verify that all items on their checklist are completed. I reached out to EC Petcare last year in my search for helping me train my dog to walk on a leash without pulling. Ellaree responded very quickly and even though I was just outside of their current service area she kindly reached out to one of her trainers to see if he would be willing to take me and my dog on as a client. He accepted and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Nick has been so great with feedback on how to best meet the needs of my dog. He explained behaviors in a way that made sense. His training walks have done a world of good. My dog no longer pulls on his leash and doesn't chase squirrels when he sees them! We've now transitioned to tri-weekly walks without training and Nick is always great about letting me know when he's on his way. I was very pleased with my experience with EC Petcare. I have three larger dogs that range in age from 13 to 2. My 7 year old is reactive, to both people and other dogs. As a result, we have not been able to do much traveling due to the dilemma of what to do with him while away. I contacted EC Petcare and they agreed to work with me. Shelby did several additional meet and greets to make sure my dog would be comfortable while we were gone. The patience Shelby showed was saintlike. She also did a good job of easing my mind too. I felt as at ease as I possibly could leaving my dogs in her keeping while I was out of town. While gone, Shelby sent a lot pictures and descriptions of how everybody was doing. She went over and above what I hoped a petsitter would provide for the pups. It appears my reactive dog even warmed up to her after a few days. It is very liberating knowing that we can go on trips again with the help of EC Petcare. I have few next year that I will definitely be calling them about. I am SO happy with EC Petcare!! I have a 1 year old 70+ lb pitbull mix that has had a lot of anxiety & behavioral things. Ellaree really helped me with not just our problems but also general training. Ellaree is super personable, and has checked in on our progress throughout our training journey. I am pleased to report that it has only been about a month and my dog has made sooooo much progress. I have also hired EC petcare for their overnight care service while I was out of town, and that was awesome too! The sad truth is that when you love your house sitter and dog walker, you don't want to tell anyone because then it will be harder to schedule them. I don't want to tell you about EC Petcare because EC and her team are fabulous, and I don't want them to get too busy for my last minute schedule requests. Our girls are.. unique, and I'm a difficult client. We have a senior dog with a lot of pain and aggression issues, and a younger pup who needs extra exercise and solo attention where the senior can't see it. I travel a lot and sometimes my partner joins me, so we need someone we can trust with our home and dogs while we're a 5 hour flight away. EC Petcare is that someone. Their team is vetted and trained to deal with difficult dogs, and they always make sure I'm in the loop about anything that happens, even when I'm an ocean away. I recommend EC Petcare to anyone looking for professional dog care that is responsive, considerate, and will love your pets as much as you do. We used the service shortly after moving to Portland and were worried about going on a trip and leaving our cats right after moving.
