Mostly shoes along the walls, but you have upper clothing, plus some socks, belts and maybe scarves.They have a wide variety from dress to casual styles. I will say it's either 99% or 100% men's selection, even though they do have a women's line you can see sometimes in other stores or online. But regardless, I stick because the shoes are a quality product that has always lasted for me. My only caveat is that somehow I've never found my size in stock - my feet are borderline large but definitely wide. Of course I can always ship free to my house in 4-6 days and return in store, but that's kind of inconvenient when you're window shopping in a mall. Whether it's the PV location or even a random J&M at the mall, I've only failed to find my size in stock here, let alone multiple visits. I recently learned that I needed stability running shoes to complement my orthotics. When I entered Sole Sports, I met Jess right away who fully understood exactly what I needed. She measured my feet and asked me a bunch of questions. Then, she brought out various pairs of shoes and walked me through trying them on with my orthotics. I learned that I should be considering a shoe size a half-size larger than what I thought I needed. That certainly made a huge difference! I got some good ideas of what I wanted to do moving forward, and while the prices seemed quite a bit more than what they are online (similar to any physical store), they offered me a discount since I was referred to Sole Sports by a doctor. Sole Sports is a locally owned, specialty running and walking store based in Phoenix. They strive to be an alternative to big box stores and online shopping. In addition to offering a wide variety of running and walking gear, they host weekly training runs, support local running clubs & youth programs, sponsor local races and donate a lot of money back into our local community. The service was ok but not what I thought I would get in a running specialty store. I got spoiled from visiting another running store in Florida I guess. I drove to the store in Peoria only to find out they have gone out of business. I called the Scottsdale location and a representative told me that this particular shoe has been discontinued because of similar complaints. I was told to go there so they could look at the shoe. The manager and the employee I talked to on the phone both confirmed that my shoes had been discontinued literally days after I purchased them. I was told at that time that there was nothing they would do except give a small discount on another pair. They could have had a customer for life. Great way to treat people! I get why there was not a single customer in their store on a Saturday morning.
