This place used to be great but this last year it has gone downhill fast with warehouse style decor, no warmth, no art, no colour and horrible music. It seems there is nobody in charge anymore and the people working there could care less about you or even smiling to say hello. Off to find something better! read more

I went for a haircut and a treatment. My hair has been dry and lifeless lately. Brianna did a wonderful job! She cut my hair beautifully, explained what needed.to be done to perk my hair up, and she was so cheerful! I really appreciated her professionalism. I really like the Eccotique spas because they use Aveda products in their treatments, and because they're affordable enough to splurge on a couple of treatments at a time. I was able to book in quickly at the farther-flung Meadowtown Centre location and make a mini-daytrip of it. My treatment began with the hot stone massage. I had never had one before, but it sounded relaxing. While it was going on, anxiety started to kick in and I worried about being burned. So yeah, not a good treatment for the worrywort - a good old fashioned massage would have been a better choice. Also, the massage room is, unfortunately, not well soundproofed, and there is a hair salon next to the day spa. Sounds of screaming children and the harder-edge music being played in the salon filtered in, competing with the white noise machine and candle light meant to relax me. So again, not good for those of us sensitive to noise, and not the best set-up for a spa experience. My facial was a bit better, although there was same problem with noise. The esthetician was really nice and gentle, however, always putting a hot towel across my chest to signal that she was putting something new on my face or about to take something off. She gave a very nice arm and finger massage, too. All in all, I enjoyed my spa afternoon, but sad to say, did not feel much different after it was all over. read more

Nice, clean and good services. Just a little pricy. Me and my mother have gone here a few times for a hair cut and eyebrow wax, tint. And I would have to say that the eyebrow tint they use last the longest out of everywhere else iv ever tried. So worth it, even though its more than most places. read more

Best spa I've been to in Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge/Langley area. Actually, I prefer it to Spa Utopia which I used to think was where the bar was set. Service is fantastic, product selection is great, and their prices are comparatively low. They carry Aveda and they're really knowledgable about the line but not pushy or off putting. I go for facials and brows, and I see Rikki. She is extraordinary! After a facial today, my skin was soft, clear and radiant, and the stresses of the work week had melted away. April is good too. My only wish is that they could take bookings and inquiries online and through email. That would be easier for me. read more

Shocked with the service at this price point! I usually go to a local Vietnamese run nail place but I thought I'd try this place for a change and went for a pedicure last month. I arrived and was taken through a maze of all empty treatment rooms to the pedicure area where there are two bench seats with 2 foot baths each. This area was set up nicely but the 90s soft rock music was awful. I want spa music at a place like this. Not relaxing. The treatment started with the removal of my old polish which seemed to take a lot longer than my other place. I would later find out I was charged $15 for this!! Well how else would I get a pedicure if the old polish wasn't off. I have never been charged for removal of any type of polish anywhere if I'm getting a pedicure. Wow!! So basically half my time was spent on removal. Then I got about a 30 second quick foot massage- my other place includes a full 10 minute foot and leg massage. Then she rubbed something on my legs and washed it off. At this point a very large customer was brought in for a pedicure and sat next to me- you have to share a bench seat. Other place has massaging heat chairs- one per person! Anyway she ended up taking some of my real estate and I had to move over and sort of rest ion one hip- not fun. The technician didn't seem to be having an easy time applying the polish and I was glad when it was over. I noticed the lady who sat next to me got a nice long massage and I casually asked her what treatment it was and she said just a regular pedicure. Same as me. Again unhappy. Plus her phone kept ringing and she talked and no one said anything. Not really Relaxing Finally it was over and looked not quite as good as my regular place. Then I went to pay and nearly had a stroke. It came to just under $90 with a tip. I usually pay $55 including tip. From what I can gather they charge everything separately, polish removal, polish etc. It was NOT worth it. I left more stressed than I went in. Back to my regular ladies. read more

Great place for a pedicure. I rather enjoyed it here. Got a girft card for christmas and it was a nice treat.

It took me a week to get an appt. The girl I had was not very friendly and really didn't seem to enjoy her job. My pedicure was o.k. nothing out of the ordinary. She cut my nails very short and left polish on my toes. I'm use to paying $30.00 not $50.00 and getting just as good of a pedicure or better. I won't go back. read more

We had the Soul Mates package, 2 full body massages and 2 Peep Toe pedicures, we were not impressed. We found the massages to be too soft and the pedicures were less than average. There was quite a lot of noise coming from the adjoining salon. The whole experience was costly and below average. read more

Three strikes and your out! First bad experience was the lady performing my facial and Brazilian was rude and abrupt. She was cold and unfriendly. Spending well over a $100 each visit, you should expect way better service than this. Was not happy Secondly, I was in for an eye brow wax and had a horrible reaction to the treatment and went in to inform the staff and they did not seem to care at all. They did not offer me anything compensation or explanation. Thirdly and lastly! Went in for a Brazilian and after the treatment, there was multiple spots of hair that had been left and it looked like a blind person waxed it. I have had many Brazilians and knew that this is not normal. I went back to complain and the girl redid it... another painful and uncomfortable experience! All she said is that the hair was blonde and could not see it.... That's what the large lights are for! This spa is lacking professionalism in customer service and they lack skill and experience in their professions. I would never go back. You would think that for the price of the services you would get better care. read more

This spa is not worth the money. You will get a much better experience at a smaller local spa. I received a gift card from my husband for Mother's Day. I booked the hot stone massage for some much needed relaxation. The entire massage I could hear the staff outside my room laughing and gossiping. I could not get into the massage or relax. I said something to the masseuse, she went and asked them to quiet down. They did not, so I asked for the manager and complained. She gave me a credit and told me to come back during the week when it is quieter !?? So a couple months later I re-booked as I had credit left on my gift card. Booked the 55 minute massage and 60 minute facial. I was in and out in an hour and a half. (Made sure to time it). I have never gone for a spa massage where they don't ask how much pressure you like, and don't massage your neck and shoulders. The facial was good and I love the Aveda products. But with tax and tip you are basically paying $100 per hour. At that rate I expect to get every minute I have paid for. I would never return to this spa and highly recommend you take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more
