You can either cut down the tree yourself or they'll do it for you with a chainsaw. In the event you don't bring a saw, they do have some you can use for no charge. My husband and I both appreciated the fact that we didn't have to carry the tree back to the cashier because they have people driving tractors around and they'll take your tree back for you. They'll shake out your tree and put it through their christmas tree wrapping machine. They have beautifully decorated wreaths and various swag you can buy and well as snacks. I have shown up right before closing, and no one gave me a hard time, so that part is cool.

This year it's near the end of the season but they told me their official season is "July / Aug". Today, many other u-pick blueberry joints were closed but this was open; I don't know why exactly, but it is near the end of the season. The phone number as reported by the other reviewer is correct -- 503-663-6123 -- and the address is not as yelp has it (which is probably the front entrance to the actual nursery???), but actually on: 30425 SE Haley Rd. Very convenient to Hwy 26. I did spot a porta-potty, but I didn't use it. This place is fairly minimal. They give you buckets, but you need to provide a box or other container to take them home in (I used a shoebox). Cash only -- not that it will take that much!

Of course they also deliver. It's nice to support a family owned business of this type. They've been open at this location since the 1970s. Besides that, it is incredibly charming that this location has a coffee shop! It used to be operated as Cat's Moon and now it appears to be Boring Bean. Either way, the interior smells absolutely delicious with coffee and pastries. And it's lovely to enjoy your coffee amongst the nursery trees and flowers.

Tim's obviously very experienced and just a really nice guy. I walked into the store with my Husky…read morechainsaw, because the chain was stuck, it just wouldn't move at all. It wasn't the chain brake! Tim took one look at the chain and said "I know exactly what's wrong!". And he was right! After my last use with a loose chain, the chain was thrown off. After I'd put the chain back on again, it got burred and that's why it was jammed and couldn't travel on the bar. Tim filed down some of the burrs and after less than 5 minutes he was done and tested the chainsaw - success! I was so grateful! I asked how I could take good care of my chainsaw and he took the time to explain how to keep things clean and well maintained. Again, he's a really nice guy. As I was walking out, another customer came in for a hug! C'mon!!
