Echoes Brewing has some great examples of all the styles they brew! I came here to study for my Cicerone Certification and they don't disappoint. The Barely wine is *chefs kiss* and the Helles and Golden Blonde are great examples of the categories of beer. The atmosphere is very laid back and the huge couch area was great to enjoy! read more

We were looking for a place to have a gathering for my daughter's 18th birthday/graduation event. We weren't expecting a lot of people, but our apartment is not conducive to having people mill around. Everyone we spoke to, in the planning stages and the day of, were just lovely. Even after I told them, I've never been to their establishment, they were so welcoming and happy to set aside two tables for us. My friends love the cider and while I typically prefer more wine options, the fact that they had a white was amazing. A group of eight of us met at Echoes Brewing to try it out and catch up on each other's lives. We enjoyed our visit, but here are a few things you should know: There is plenty of seating for groups of all sizes, in the summer there is even an outdoor seating area where I am told dogs are allowed. There is no food available to purchase, but they do sponsor food trucks in the parking lot. The night we were there it was a Mexican food truck that was very overpriced and not very tasty. The beer I am told was good, and plenty of varieties to choose from, but if you are not a beer drinker, like myself, you have one wine choice. There is live music on the weekends-the singer was very good, but so loud I felt like I was shouting for every conversation. I am hesitant to mention the last thing, but feel I must-it is dirty. The tables, chairs, bathrooms, and floors are filthy. We were seated next to the children's play area and there was old, dirty food all over the floor-even some petrified chicken nuggets! I get that it's supposed to be a "rustic" experience, as are many places with the 'Pacific Northwest' vibe, but common housekeeping is always a good thing. read more

Definitely enjoyed going to Poulsbo's newest brewery, Echoes! I was complaining to myself and to Steve that there wasn't any new breweries to try in the area. But after reading an article on the Washington Beer Blog I discovered therr were lots of new breweries that escaped my attention and so the last several weekends I've been out trying out a few of those new ones, Echoes being one of them. Steve and I made a trip here a few weekends ago and really liked the beers that we had here. I had a fantastic Kölsch that they had on tap. It was light and crisp and had a very appealing cereal kind of flavor to it. It was fantastic! Steve had another kind of beer and while he enjoyed it quite a bit he liked my Kölsch the best. Definitely worth paying a visit back to whenever in the Poulsbo area. You are in for a real treat if you decide to do a mini brewery tour in this town as there are several very good breweries here, Echoes being one of them. read more

Stopped by on our way into town for our little 24 hour vacation during Presidents' Day weekend. Picked this brewery over the one across the street because there is a review here with a photo of a dog sitting in a chair inside of the brewery and we wanted to take our dog inside to stretch her legs. Right as you enter, the sign says no dogs inside, and when I asked permission to bring her in anyway it was a solid no on that. In our experience (which is quite a bit) unless you're a restaurant, breweries will let you keep your well behaved dog under the table. They sold a handful of prepackaged snack foods with the exception of a frozen microwaveable pizza. We bought some for our kids--paid $2 for an 8oz juice box and didn't dare ask the prices on the rest. It was FREEZING downstairs, the bathroom felt like I was in an ice box. They do have a game room upstairs for older kids and a small play area downstairs for younger kids but it's not maintenanced. Change machine ate our dollar and one of the pinball machines jammed immediately after my kids put their coins in it. The downstairs chalk board doesn't actually have any chalk. The beer was ok. I come for the IPA's and they did have a wide selection of them, nothing to write home about. There were covered picnic tables in the parking lot but not enclosed and not heated. Overall might be a better adult trip, summer vibe. Just wasn't what I had in mind to start my vacation. read more

My husband is the beer officianado and loves Echoes' Monk's Indiscretion beer. So we decided to check out their Poulsbo brewery. First, they made me very happy by not only having wine, but it was Airfield, which is a very good WA wine. Smart move! My husband asked the "beer tender" to put a flight together for him based on his love of Monk's Indiscretion. He was so happy with it. He said it's the first time he has every had a flight and has liked every single beer. You can bring your own food in and it's a large space. In good weather, there's an outside space where you may have your dog. What's not to like?! As a wine drinker married to a beer lover, I'm thrilled with Echoes! And my husband is even happier! read more

This place is cool and I wish it was a bit closer to me. Its a lovely bar in a cool area, the building is amazing and while I am always happy to bring my pup around it would have been nice to go with the dog to experience the entirety of the bar. Its really cool and well designed. The beer was pretty solid also. I feel like the IPA was a touch hoppy for my taste, but was still really nice. The Doubel was the best. I really enjoyed the flavor. I am definitely interested in visiting this place again. We will be back hopefully one more trip before the end of summer. read more

This is the most family-friendly establishment I have ever been to. I have four young kids, and this is the only place I feel I can bring my kids and also get to relax and enjoy myself. Not only does it have a kids area with books, toys, and games, but the bathrooms are family-friendly too! It's one big room with sinks and private bathrooms for all genders - As a mom I always hesitate about sending my boys into the men's restroom by themselves, but not here. Plus there's a nursing mother's room AND the changing table is not just limited to the women's bathroom. If that weren't enough, the beer is soooooo good. And with a lot of wine, cider, and non-alcoholic options too, Echoes is truly the establishment for everyone! read more

Great location on Viking Ave NW, almost directly across the street from Rainy Daze. Makes it easy to hit both breweries. It is really nice inside, and the beer is great. They have big garage doors they can open up when the weather lets them do that, which should be soon! (It's mid March now) I really liked some of the German brews they had, especially the Kolsch. They also have food menu's for delivery, or bring your own. Check out this new place, it is a great spot. read more

What a great place to spend a summer Friday evening! The Echoes Taproom has a variety of beers, cider, and wine available; indoor and outdoor seating with a large roll-up garage door; and allows outside food. They sometimes have live music and food trucks to add to the ambiance, and seem to be kid and dog friendly. We grabbed food from local favorite Taqueria Los Cazadores in the next shopping center. I love the atmosphere here. They have a nice outdoor patio that's pet friendly. Food trucks are regularly scheduled here as well. Great selection of craft brews and bar snacks. The best feature of this brewery is how family friendly they have made it. The upstairs loft is complete with arcade games and board games. Our favorite beers included the stout and kolsh. My son loved the ginger ale on tap. I would also like to add the gal working behind the bar/counter was wonderful. She was so informative and friendly.
