However I began to detect a pattern of continuing calls to update our estates. These updates were generally minor yet increasingly expensive. It came to a head when my wife & I wanted a simple one page codicil to our wills and were quoted an outrageous fee. We balked and went to another attorney who prepared same for less than 1/10 of the Pyke fee. When we submitted them for inclusion in our original file, they went ballistic and told us to take our file and never darken their doorway again!! Pyke and Assocs. seem to forget that the atty advises and the client decides. They also forget that they are a service business. Stay away from this firm and protect your assets with a more ethical and reliable firm.

The buyer had to go back to the bank because they didn't give credit for the earnest money. That person was able to send proof that the bill was in fact paid & I forwarded that info to the attorney. However the amount of the water bill was deducted from my proceeds. I was told as soon as Dekalb could confirm that the bill was paid, I would be sent a refund. Needless to say I can't even get anyone to confirm that this was done. I spoke with CHRISTIAN on several occasions who informed me that I needed to speak with Nicole. I then left several messages for Nicole who NEVER returned my calls. Finally after a week of calling & leaving messages I was told by CHRISTIAN in a very nasty, unprofessional voice that I needed to speak with someone else. I asked her why she was just informing me that I needed to speak with someone else a week later, her response was "that's who you need to speak with & she works remote", then she hung up on me. I called back only for someone named Addie to send me to the attorney's voicemail. I respectfully left a message on the attorneys voicemail in hopes that she would call back. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!! I will also be filing several complaints with the BBB & anyone else I can. This is unacceptable...I will not let this matter go unanswered. I need an apology from CHRISTIAN the employee that was so rude & nasty. This is not how you talk to clients!!

I would not recommend Attorney Latasha Walker based on my experience. At first, she builds this…read morefairy-tale picture of everything she can do for your case, giving the impression that she will be attentive, supportive, and proactive--only to later leave you hanging without the communication or follow-through you were promised. My last communication from her was on October 31st, when she stated that she had sent a revised offer to the opposing counsel. However, the opposing attorney later confirmed that they never received any such email. Since October 31st, despite my repeated attempts to reach her by phone, text, and email, Attorney Walker has not responded. This lack of communication caused important deadlines to be missed, including the timely submission of a court date request that I repeatedly asked her to file. Even after expressing my concerns multiple times, I received no update or guidance from her. Given how critical communication and timely action are--especially in family court cases--this experience has been incredibly stressful and detrimental. Due to the lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and the negative impact on my case, I would never recommend Attorney Walker to anyone seeking dependable legal representation.
