This review is for Eckburg insurance group, but especially for one of their representatives, Carla Towns. I recently bought a home and was looking to insure it. Since I was a first-time homeowner, I went with Allstate who also ensured both of my cars. I knew Carla from mutual friends and I asked her if she could quickly peruse my policy, just to make sure nothing was missing. Even though I wasn't a customer of eckburg's and within hours, she returned my call to let me know of a few things she saw were missing- one of them being sewer/water backup protection. I called Allstate and added the coverage.
Wouldn't you know? Less than a year in my house, the sewer line breaks in the front yard and backups a foot of sewage and rainwater into my finished basement. This was an unforeseen tragedy that wouldn't have completely been on my husband and I if we didn't have coverage. Without Carla, we would have been out of luck and would have had to drain our savings. I wasn't her client but she talked me through some insurance questions/bank questions I had encountered.
After I finish with this claim (with Allstate, which has been a nightmare), I've decided to perhaps see what Eckburg quotes me for homeowners insurance. Carla extensively knows the reputations and track records of every company Eckburg uses for coverage. In a world of uncertainty, it's a relief to know that when it comes to insuring the possessions that you've taken a lifetime to accumulate, there is someone whose got your back to safeguard it. read more
